Innocent Forever

Isabelle was still half drunk when she woke up. She had ended up falling off the sofa just missing her head on the coffee table.

"Mhmmmm."

Isabelle got up went to the bathroom, then went into the kitchen and checked the time only 10:40. She made herself some coffee and some toast.

An hour went by, two, three it was finally time to start the day. Isabelle had cleaned up the house a bit, took a shower, worked on some paperwork, and realized Jane had not been up. Normally she was up almost before Isabelle, was Jane not feeling good? Isabelle went into her room to see Jane peacefully covered up in a blanket. Shaking her head Isabelle laughed the book was on her chest she must have finished the whole book last night, causing her to fall asleep. Isabelle walked up to Jane and grabbed the book not realizing how strange it was, the book was on a separate page than where the book mark was.

"Jane honey wake up." Isabelle called Jane's name but she didn't wake up she didn't even flinch. "Okay Jane very funny time to get up." But now Isabelle started to worry Jane was a light sleeper. Isabelle shook Jane's shoulder but Jane still didn't wake up. "JANE PLEASE WAKE UP!" Super panicked isabelle ripped the blanket from Jane's body, but still nothing.

Crying Isabelle held Jane and just begged her to wake up, but when Isabelle checked Jane's pulse she realized Jane would never wake up. Isabelle didn't know what to do, there was no wound what had happened to Jane? She just she was just dead. She sat their with Jane in her arms for another hour just crying. She couldn't except this. It wasn't fair, then she remembered what Cole said "If you ever need to talk please call me." She didn't know what else to do so she layed Jane's lifeless body back down on the bed and got up. She had set the phone right next to the book, ring, ring, ring. "Cole please pick up please." Isabelle whispered, she didn't want to be alone, but nobody answered.

Then she saw the book the strange book the bookmark was way farther in the front then what page Jane was on. So she grabbed the book and looked at it. It wasn't long after that she hung up the phone and chucked it at the wall shattering it into a million pieces, and then the book but the book didn't break.

Walking back up to the book she could help but feel a mix of feeling guilt, hatred, sorrow, pity depression. On the page was a note.

"Dear Isabelle by the time you read this poor Jane will already be dead, and all you will be left with is questions. Of why, why her, why now, why after this year of letting you run from me again I don't call, I don't show up? I don't need to baby, because forever you will think of me. You will wonder if I'm behind you, you will wonder if one day I'll just show up. You have a million questions and I'm willing to answer them. I advise you not to seek help it will only cause more death more heartbreak.

"I came to the house looking for you, well no that's a lie you finally were having fun tonight. Finally happy I had to figure out why, why you would take the money from the business man who would protentaly hurt you. Take what is mine away from me.

"Then I met Jane and I realized you want to help girls like her, so I thought I would try to help. I stopped by and she grew afraid of me throwing things, screaming. No I did not kill her then I knocked her unconscious and binded her, so when she woke up she would listen to me and she did. When she woke up she asked what I wanted, who I was, and I told her which only made her more scared. You had told her about me, or bits and pieces. I'm not mad it's just what we had it was suppose to stay between us. Anyways I picked up her book and I warned her she would not like the ending. That even though this is a kids book the ending tears you apart. I tried helping to keep the innocents, but she didn't care. She even smiled and said "This is why you did this to me because of a damn book, it's just a story that's it." But we both know stories have more of a meaning than that. It made me mad how could you raise her, she would never truly listen to you not really.

"Books are life, were your life. You always believed a little truth in what you read. So I took a pillow and strangled her with it. She won't ever read the end of the story. Isn't that what you wanted her never to have that feeling of sorrow, to cry?

"Why did the little Prince have to die to get to his rose? You would cry that to me back when we were friends. You told me you would never read it again, that it broke your heart. I didn't have the courage to tell you why. To tell you why the prince left the world to see his rose, why he wasn't afraid. He wanted to always be with her no matter the cost, he couldn't lose her just like that. No matter how much she lied, and hurt him she would always be his. Isabelle baby you will always be mine. I'm willing to risk my life, my happiness to get you back, and nobody will come between us. Nobody will hurt you baby I promise."

This bastard he really killed Jane because of some damn book, because Isabelle hated the ending. No it had to be more, this was ownership. He was trying to own her, but if he knew she was here how could he let her go through what she went through. He must have just found out. She would have to run again, and not even the three alpha's could help. He knew about them, of course he knew about them he had ears everywhere. It's a good thing Cole didn't pick up, but now she had no idea what to do with Jane. She couldn't just leave her like that.
