Bouquet

When they got home Isabelle wanted to take a shower, Chase reluctantly let go and she head to the bathroom. Little did they know she would cry till all the tears were gone. While she was showering Chase went to his room and sat on the bed. Three women in his life he wanted to save Elaine, the blonde girl, and Isabelle. He would be damned if he couldn't save one of them. Grabbing the book he kept in the drawer he opened it. He knew this book by heart and flipped to the page that made him think of the girl who died in his arms. The quote by Atticus that haunted him was "I don't believe in magic the young boy said. The old man smiled you will when you see her." Chase felt like the little boy. Throughout his life he never believed in true love or magic, but her blue eyes it made him fall in love with the world in them. Making this quote oh that much more important.

He went to shut the book hearing his door open but a page got stuck. The last page and in the biggest letters that could fill the page said "Maybe some stories are just written to end." Hell to that it sent a spark of motivation through him. He wasn't gonna let Isabelle share the same fate.

Dylan and cole walked in Cole was pissed and Dylan was sad what happened this time?

"Chase please follow..." Even though Cole was pissed his voice came out more like a whisper.

Chase knew even though Cole made it sound like a question it really ment it was a demand. Following Cole and Dylan they opened Isabelle's room to find a bouquet of flowers. Chase fully understanding walked up to the bouquet. What he understood is it meant someone broke into their house. Isabelle didn't carry this in and the men with her didn't give it to her. What he didn't understand was there wasn't a note. Was this supposed to leave her wondering? Was this from the guy at the funeral?

About to ask Cole if there was a note Dylan held a book out to Chase. It was the book Isabelle took from Jane's crime scene. Narrowing his eyes at Dylan Chase took the book and rubbed the spine. Doing that and letting the book fall open usually revealed pages most recently viewed, or pages most gone to. If it was one, two or three. More than that was kind of difficult. Once he let the book fall open there was a letter the first one that Isabelle read.

"Dear Isabelle by the time you read this poor Jane will already be dead, and all you will be left with is questions. Of why, why her, why now, why after this year of letting you run from me again I don't call, I don't show up? I don't need to baby, because forever you will think of me. You will wonder if I'm behind you, you will wonder if one day I'll just show up. You have a million questions and I'm willing to answer them. I advise you not to seek help it will only cause more death more heartbreak.

"I came to the house looking for you, well no that's a lie you finally were having fun tonight. Finally happy I had to figure out why, why you would take the money from the business man who would potentially hurt you. Take what is mine away from me.

"Then I met Jane and I realized you want to help girls like her, so I thought I would try to help. I stopped by and she grew afraid of me throwing things, screaming. No I did not kill her then I knocked her unconscious and binded her, so when she woke up she would listen to me and she did. When she woke up she asked what I wanted, who I was, and I told her which only made her more scared. You had told her about me, or bits and pieces. I'm not mad it's just what we had it was suppose to stay between us. Anyways I picked up her book and I warned her she would not like the ending. That even though this is a kids book the ending tears you apart. I tried helping to keep the innocents, but she didn't care. She even smiled and said "This is why you did this to me because of a damn book, it's just a story that's it." But we both know stories have more of a meaning than that. It made me mad how could you raise her, she would never truly listen to you not really.

"Books are life, were your life. You always believed a little truth in what you read. So I took a pillow and strangled her with it. She won't ever read the end of the story. Isn't that what you wanted her never to have that feeling of sorrow, to cry?

"Why did the little Prince have to die to get to his rose? You would cry that to me back when we were friends. You told me you would never read it again, that it broke your heart. I didn't have the courage to tell you why. To tell you why the prince left the world to see his rose, why he wasn't afraid. He wanted to always be with her no matter the cost, he couldn't lose her just like that. No matter how much she lied, and hurt him she would always be his. Isabelle baby you will always be mine. I'm willing to risk my life, my happiness to get you back, and nobody will come between us. Nobody will hurt you baby I promise."

This man was sick Chase finally understood why she hung up on them. Why she couldn't fully trust them. It was because of him this note was the cruelest thing he had ever read. It was to show how he wasn't pissed at her, but that she was his. That no matter where she went she would always be his. That is what the three alpha's swore against to help omega's trapped in these situations, and this omega wasn't just some omega she was their's. Shutting the book again and letting it fall open there was another note.

"Dear Isabelle is that what we are going by now? Strange how after all these years you never changed your name, nor did you change your look. Not until you moved here Isabelle is so common so simple. It neither matches your beauty or your personality and neither does the new look. Everytime I would fine you in a new town you would tell me how I was the worst person in your life. How I ruined you. Yet everytime I caught you your eyes were still the perfect shade of blue and your hair golden blonde like the sun. It wasn't until you moved here that all that changed. Did someone else get to you and hurt you? If so baby all you have to do is tell me and I will make them pay. I stopped by the funeral I know, I know you hate me for killing her, but I wanted to be there for you. Expectally sense I stopped by the place before the crowd got there and saw who else was buried there. Lilly's and Rose's blue ones I know you don't like clique items so I got you these. Baby I'm not even mad that you chose them to protect you just please give me a call."

Chase had thought she dyed her hair to get away from him. Yet by this lunatics reaction to the new her there was yet another person that harmed her. What was her real name? Who else was buried by the willow tree? Those were the only thoughts he wanted to think about. Yet one still pulled at his mind. Beautiful blue eyes and golden blonde hair like the sun it's how he would describe the girl he once knew, but it couldn't be her she died in his arms.
