Red Strings (RS)

Before I knew it, the door opened and I faced off those three girls chatting around the bathroom with red-rimmed eyes.


They both exclaim in shock as they found another person inside, eyes wide as they watch me with wary and nervous eyes.


In my head, I was screaming, thrashing around as I tried to take control of myself but alas, it was futile.


It was like the world was mocking me for thinking that I could leave their prison.


It was a bit hilarious isn't it? The maker of this world might have found me amusing, seeing me continuously run and fight even though nothing won't change no matter how much I try.


"Where is that woman?" One could hear the contempt in my voice as 'I' stared right back at them as if daring them to lie.


"Who are you?" The woman in short hair frowned as she looked at me in confusion.


My hand in a fist, I took a deep breath before saying.


I was furious, the clacking of heels loud enough for every employee to hear as they looking my direction. I have an enrage expression yet my eyes were cold and unfeeling.


It was such a contrast to what I am currently feeling in my head and what the outside reflects.


The three women from before were pale, their legs wobbled as they tried to outrun me.


One of the women stood before me, her eyes filled with fright as she gritted her lips and shake her head.


"Please... Mrs. An... we're s-sorry... we were just m-messing around" she can't even say her words straight.


'I' glared at her and pushed her out of me, she was like a leaf trembling in winter as she stepped backward.


The other two were already looking at me with pleading in their eyes but I still went to open the door.


The other employees inside were gazing at me in confusion and before they could react, I already have Shaoyan's hair on my hand.


"Ah! Mrs. An! Ahh! L-let go!" She sobbed as she tried to let go of my grip on her hair.


I notice every employee was looking at me with pity and shock, someone tried to talk to me but I just glared at them and say.


"If you try to stop me, I'll make sure the rest of you won't have a good ending!"


Their faces paled and soon, no one stepped in to stop and so I dragged Shaoyan and closed the door.


I lift her up and then slapped her, it was so hard the sound of smacking was heard from outside the room.


"You vixen! How dare you seduce Yi Wei! Such a loose woman isn't fit to work here in this company!" I screamed at her while she hysterically cried.


"I'm not... ugh... Mrs. An... I'm not a v-vixen!" She sobbed softly while I slapped her face once more earning another cry of pain from her.


"If you're not then let's go to my husband's office, you'll quit today" I sauntered my way to her side and clasp her chin then say. "If I see you in my husband's side one more time, I'll make your life a living hell"


I was about to take her wrist when another hand beat me into it, I looked up and it was none other than An Yi Wei.
