5. mahendi( Henna ceremony)!

Today is alaya's mahendi ceremony and everything was setup for it becuse a half an hour later henna artistes would come and after alaya's henna they would apply henna to alina.

Alina is on her bed at 4 am in morning her hands on her hair clutching it and sweating she sat up on her bed,after coming to her senses. She was having continuous nightmares after that incident and after alaya's alliance got fixed, she was having nightmares every night.

She stood up and after her wudhu she offered her tahajud and again fall on bed,and slept again.

Alina's p.o.v:

I was up at alarm buzzing and went to bathroom and made my wudhu and offered my fajar salah, i went to take shower and then to closet to get ready for function.

I wore a white ankle length white gown with half sleeves and a pistachio ankle length shrug with white and pistachio shaded dupatta,white ballet flats and a big pearl ring in her middle finger and i was ready to go downstairs.

I was on my door when i saw a man coming from room which was across my room but i saw his back i locked my room and started walking when i heard a familiar voice.

"Assalamu alaikum lina" He said.

I heard a familiar voice but when i heard the name he called, i was sure he was zain because at my home everyone called me ina and others alina but i remember that in my whole life only one person call me lina and the person is zain.

I turned around to face him and clashed my hazel ones with charcoal black ones and he was looking handsome as usual in his dark blue pants with white strapped shirt,blue strap watch and blue denim loafers.

I was ogling at him and realised that when i saw him he was also ogling at me,i was looking at him when someone cleared his throat we turned at intruder and our arms brushed, we looked at intruder it was fahad he was looking good.

He came towards us and greeted us with confusion.

"Assalamu alaikum" He said.

Before i could greet him back zain greeted him back.

"Walaikumasslam" Zain greeted him back.

Zain and fahad hugged eachother and fahad turn to me.

"Or aap ko niche nahi aana?" (you don't want to come downstairs?)He asked.

I didn't bother to excuse him and just nodded. fahad come to my right side becuse zain was on my left and like that we reach downstairs my mamma,femi phupho,tai ammi and chachi was looking at us and i got suspicious seeing their gaze on us but i went from there.

Zain's p.o.v:

I woke up by my alarm and went to mosque to offer my salah after offering my salah i came back home and recite sura yasin,then after that went to take shower.After hot relaxing shower i took my clothes and wore it.

I was locking my room door when i felt someone's presence i turn to look and saw a girl locking door.

I didn't know that why tai ammi was telling me to take this room but now i am clear,because this room is across lina's room.

Before she could go from there i greeted her.

"Asslamualaikum lina"

She turned towards me which made me shock,she was looking gorgeous in her white and pistachio colour gown with white flats and a big pearls ring in her middle finger i don't want ogle her but i can't help it. i came in my senses and saw that she was also ogling at me.

Our little moment was ruined by a throat cleared by someone and we looked at intruder and our arms brushed.we looked at intruder he was i think fahad,the groom's brother but when i looked at him my blood started boiling he was looking at lina with his dirty eyes i want to tear his eye balls from his eyes.

He came towards us and greeted us.

"Asslamualaikum"

I didn't know why but i was having a creepy feelings from him and i want lina to stay away from him.

Before lina could greet him i greeted him back

"Walaikumasslam"

Than we hugged eachother and than that creep turn to lina and asked her.

"Or aap ko niche nahi aana?"(You don't want to come downstairs?)

She looked at him and simply nodded her head,i know her she doesn't like to explain herself to anyone.

Than he started walking beside her, i was on her left side and he went to her right. we reached downstairs but my mumma and tai ammi's gaze on us made me suspicious, then lina went from there and i also went from there towards garden.

Alina was sitted with 2 years old kaif in her lap becuse her fiza bhabhi's hands were claded in wet henna and kaif doesn't like wet henna.kaif was playing with his ina phupho's hair and kissed her right cheek.Alina smiled when aaisha came with dry henna claded hands and sat beside her as she sat she hissed in pain and unwantedly got alina's attention.

"Kya hua ab kaha gir gai thi?"(What happened did you fall?)

Alina asked.

"Gir nahi gai mujhe giraya gaya"(i didn't fall someone purposely do it)

Aaisha answered with smile.

"Me vahi soch rahi thi k agar tum girti to har baar ki tarah koi na koi tumhe bacha leta"(I was just thinking about that if you fall like always someone will save you)

Alina said.

"Are ina wo to hona yahi tha,me takra gai par mene socha vo mujhe girne se bacha lega par usne nahi bachaya,bachane ki baat to chodo gir gai to hath tak nahi dia." (oh ina it happed to like this i bumped but i thought he will save me but he didn't, forget that he didn't even give me hand to support)

Aaisha explained with a huff.

"To use puchna to tha kyu nahi bachaya?"(so you didn't ask him?)

Alina asked with confusion.

"Bol raha tha me bina vajah ladkiyo ko hath nahi lagata"( he was telling that he didn't touch any girl without reason)

Aaisha answer mimicking him.

"Kon tha vo?"( who was he?)

Alina asked while giggling.

"Haider, tumhare zain ka bhai"(Haider, your zain's brother)

Aaisha answered with teasing smile.

Alina blushed at the word tumhara zain.

"Mujhe lagta h fiza bhabhi ki mehandi sukh gai hogi"(i thought fiza bhabhi's heena is dryed by now)

Alina tried to escape.

"Ha ha zarur zarur jao"( yes yes ofcourse go)

Aaisha said while teasing her.

Aaisha and alina shared a very special bond since zain left her.Aaisha knows everything about her even about her nightmares also but alina doesn't want to disturb anyone,because of her.So she took a promise from her to not tell anyone about her nightmares. Due to only one year age gap between them,their bond became more stronger and they can also know what is going on in other's mind.Aaisha knows that alina have feelings for zain since childhood when alina also didn't knew it to herself about her feelings for him but aaisha knew it very well.

Zain's p.o.v:

I was wandering over to find my mom but she didn't show up to me since morning. I was searching for her and then i found her with dad and haider sitted on table and having her lunch from dad hands then i saw haider,

He was not giving them private time and i saw mom getting uneasy because of his presence. He saw me and i gave him a look that says 'come here' and he excused himself to our parents and reached me.

"Kya hua bhai?"(what happened bro?)

He asked.

I didn't bother to answer him and smacked his head hardly.

"Ouch bhai dard hota h"(oh bro it hurts)

He said.

"Ha bachpana kab jayega tera tune dekha un dono ko to akela nahi chod sakta tha?"(where will you stop behaving like child?)

"Are bhai-" (bro-)

He started but a girl caught my attention she was looking uncomfortable.

Yes you are right she was lina but next secound my blood started boiling that creep (fahad😅) feeding her becuse her hands were claded with wet heena but why did she ask him,she could have asked me.This guy is now getting on my nerves.

I was about to go towards them but a soft tap on my shoulder made me realize that,this is not the right time.

I turn towards a girl and saw that the girl,she was glaring haider.

"Kya hua?"(what happened?)

I asked politely.

"Zain bhai aap mujhe khana khiladen ge?"(zain bro will you feed me?)

She asked me sheepishly.

Then i saw lina who was going and thought that this is the time to talk.

"Ji mujhe kuch jaruri kaam h aap ko haider khaana khila dega agar aap ko aitraz na ho to?"(actually i have important work haider will feed you if you don't have problem?)

She followed my gaze and looked at alina and smiled, then answered me looking at haider.

"Ji mujhe koi Aitraz nahi h par haider to bina vajah kisi ladki ko hath nahi lagate"(i don't have any problem but haider don't touch any girl without reason)

I was about to answer her but haider agreed to me and said.

"Ji sahi keh rahi h aap aaisha ji par mujhe madad kar ke kushi hogi"(yes you're right aaisha but i feel happy to help)

Ok i can see that haider is looking jealous becuse she asked me but why was he jealous of me, he knew my feelings towards lina.I just wants to talk to her.

I was about to reach her but she bumped into chair and stumbled i ran towards her and held her by her arms but she looked at me in anger.

I don't know what happened to her that she didn't even thanked me but started crying. What happened?why is she crying? i took her arms and took her to side corridor where no one was present.

"Kya hua lina kyu ro rahi ho?"(what happened lina why are you crying?)

I asked her while cupping her face.

"Aap...aap ne"(you...you)

She tried to speak.

"Mene kya lina kya kiya mene?"(me what lina what did i do?)

I asked.

"Aap ne meri mehendi kharab kardi"(you ruined my heena)

She said while pointing our hands and my shirt.

Well her whole hands mehandi designs were now blurred and her palm were on my shirt.when i took her arms that moment her arms mehandi got on my palms and her palms mehandi got on my shirt,then when i took her arm to take her with me,that was cherry on the top.

"Ok..don't cry lina first wash your hands"

She looked at her hands and ran to her room to wash her hands, and after washing her hands she came to my room and by that time i also changed when she came.

"Meri mehandi kharab kardi ab aap mujhe leke jayege dobara mehandi lagwane ke liye"((you ruined my heena now you will take me for second time)

I just nodded at her making her smile.i took my phone and searched best henna artistes in city then took an appointment with my name and we are ready to go.
