10. Nikkah! (wedding ceremony)

Alina's p.o.v:

I slept after praying my istekharra salah.

I woke up at the sound of prayer being called.

I felt relax and happy after many months.

I woke up with positive vibes, I make my ablution then offer my fazar salah, I take a shower then wore my normal plazo and Kurti.

I don't want to ready now because nikkah is after asar salah, I will be getting ready after zuhr salah.

I was on the staircase with Hana and I spotted zain coming down from the stairs, he was looking so handsome that I can't explain in words, why always men look more handsome in kurta?

He came to us I try my best to not meet his gaze.

"Aaslamualikum" zain greeted us.

"Walaikumassalam" Hana greet him back.

"Bhai I thought today is Alaya aapi and Rehan Bhai's nikkah, not yours," Hana said teasingly.

"I am ready to do nikah if my bride is ready to do"

Zain said and I finally lifted my head and saw him, he was looking at me.

"Oh no bhai you are in the form today but seriously you are looking too handsome I am right ina?"

Hana asked me.

I blushed and nodded my head in approval.

I saw a girl looking at zain, not looking gawking at zain and a sudden wave of possessive hit me.

I know her she is my not so good maternal cousin and she is just like this from teenage more than interested in boys.

I saw Aisha she was looking at Haider.

"What is gotten into you, Aisha?"

I asked her getting annoyed.

"Nothing" she simply shrugs her shoulder.

"That maha witch is gawing at my zain, and now you are looking at Haider" I blurred out.

"We all-" she was about to answer but stop midway.

"Wait a second you said my zain means your istekharra's answer is yes?"

She asked and I nodded smilingly.

"Yes yes, your answer-" she started shouting before she completes I put my palm on her mouth.

I saw people looking at us and from the corner of my eyes, I saw zain.

I am worried because maha was gawking at zain, she is a girl who never wants to hear no and about boys, her record is very dangerous she never hears no from any boy ones she got a crush on her professor and he was married he scolded her and in return, she created a big misunderstanding between his and his wife in result they got separate.

I was in my thoughts when aaisha snaps her fingers in front of my eyes make me came to reality.

I share my fears with her and she assures me to calm down and not stress my self.

                    Zain's p.o.v:

"Yes, Mr Khan your order will deliver till the evening, thank you for the order," the salesman said from the other side of the phone.

I cut the call and it's already 4 pm and soon nikkah will be done, I turn my head and saw the beautiful face of my lina.

She was covered in a black saree and by the style of saree, I can tell that it's her design because that saree was covering each part of her body.

It had a full-sleeved black blouse and the half sleeves were beautifully covered in black sparkling stones and a simple black saree.

She wore simple black Stones Earrings And a black strap watch on her right hand and black flats.

Her straight hairs were open and coming to her waist.

I saw she was looking at me and that's the moment the corners of my lips carved upward automatically and her cheeks' light complex turn into crimson and a small smile make its way on her lips.

In all time I felt someone gaze on me but when I turned around I didn't saw anyone.

I am very excited about tonight's plan I made for lina it's no other better way to ask her what was the answer to her istekharra? but I hope so Allah will guide us in the best way.

It's time to nikkah Rehan already gave her consent and now it's time to ask Alaya.

We came into a room and qazi Saab started nikkah, from the corner of my eyes I saw that lina is on the verge of crying I know she was very close to Alaya and she was also her best friend she never wants to leave her alaya appi and I saw that aaliya and aamena already started crying I know that in all the cousins they both are most sensitive.

Then the qazi Saab asked, " kya aap Alaya Faruq Malik Apni zaat ko hak Meher 50 lakh ruppeh ke avez me Rehan Ishaq shaikh ne apko Apne nikkah me Liya kya Apne qubool Kiya?"

Alaya answered with confidence "qubool he" (I do)

And then qazi Saab asked her two more times and she replied with the same answer and signed the nikkahnama.

And with that, she bursts into tears and it's the cue for lina she silently started sobbing and crying and from now on every woman in the room started crying.

I saw faruq uncle was consoling antie, lina and aamena.

Alaya met uncle, antie and then she met lina.

"Congratulation appi" lina whisper in a broken voice.

Without giving any answer Alaya hugs her tightly and she broke into tears and started sobbing.

She broke the hug and then hug aamena.

Lina leave the room as fast as she can I know she was in her emotional state so, I congratulate Alaya and went after her.

She went to her room because I know she has always been like this, she always shows that she is very strong she had to because of her family, she also cries but she never shows anyone.

I turn the knob and it was open I went inside the room where she was crying her heart out sitting on the floor hugging her knees.

I slide myself beside her on the floor and she hugs me tightly she doesn't even bother to know who was sitting beside her.

"Appi...appi will go now..zai.." She was about to take a name but a sob escaped her mouth her tears were making me uncomfortable.

"Shh...don't cry like this baby," I said and started rubbing her back to calm her.

She stopped after some time and looked up from my chest to me with teary eyes.

"Zain who will now calm me when I got nightmares? who will wake me up from them who?" She asked me and started punching my chest with her tiny fists and started crying again.

"Ohh..baby stop crying and don't worry if Allah writes us future together then I don't let you live here any more I will come and marry you as soon as possible as I promised you and don't worry about anything then I will do anything to be an idol husband and I will try to be a husband that you dreamed of inshallah" I try to assure her that she will be fine without Alaya and I will be there whenever she needs me.

She looked up at me like she was asking that 'really?' I smiled and nod at her then she also brought a small smile on her face.
