"Jacob?" Max asks entering the thick forest. The moonlight shines bright making the forest aesthetic. As much as the forest looked beautiful it indeed looks spooky as well. Max knew Jacob would have gone into the forest in search of the owner of that scream, Max never wanted to come alone but the rest of the two wouldn't wake up. Giving up he decided to look for Jacob alone. With a flashlight in his hand, he heads further inside the forest,

"Jacob, can you hear me?" Max asks his voice echoing in the silent forest. With a gulp, he went deeper inside with determination to find Jacob, suddenly a loud scream echoes as Max flinches. Sweat forming on his forehead as he recognized the voice,

"JACOB! CAN U HEAR ME?" Max shouts his lungs out as all he got was a cold breeze in return.

I should've bought others with me...

Max thoughts to himself as he tries to remember the path he came from but he was so fucked up that his mind went blank. A loud crack voice came from his back making him turn around only to see nothing.

"Jacob?" Max asks as he gulps, getting scared he tries his best to find the path but unfortunately he completely forgot where he came from. Cursing himself he takes a deep breath,

What should I do now?

He asks himself before sitting down on the grass, The longer he sits there the more he gets worried and scared, at some point he was a concern for Jacob, and at some point, he was a concern for himself.

That's when someone flashes the light on him making him cover his eyes.

"MAX!!" Jacob shouts as Max opened his eyes looking at teary Jacob. Running towards Jacob he hugged him.

"Where the fuck did you went?!" Max scolds Jacob as he wiped his tears.

"I heard a scream in the forest and went to see what happened" Jacob admits wiping his tears which never stopped. Max hugged him again as he was now relieved having Jacob with his side now.

"Now stop crying and let's find our way back to the camp," Max says as Jacob nods. Holding Jacob's hand Max starts to walk towards the north direction. Even tho he wasn't sure it was the right path or not he still walks in that direction in the hope of seeing their camp.

"Are you sure we are going on the right path?" Jacob asks nervously,

"I am not sure but we have to look around so... let's see"
