Gone

"What is this place?" Charlie spoke entering the abandoned house with Jake leading him. Jake was silent this whole time. Charlie has no idea what has gotten into Jake since he has been acting like this from the starting as soon as they starting hiking. Charlie was a bit irritated by Jake's behavior but he had to tolerate it for now.

"Hello?" Jake asks finally speaking, Charlie was a bit scared from this situation since he has never gotten into it before. That's when they heard someone sobbing. Goosebumps raised on the body of both of them, Charlie hides behind Jake while Jake slowly made his way towards the place where this sound of sobbing was coming from. As much as this idea was stupid Jake was willing to see who was there and if that person could help them,

Jake never believed in ghosts but he remembers the weird feelings he got when they were in Charlie's house.

Was it all planned?

Finally, they entered the room as they stood there froze when they saw their own friend sitting in the corner sobbing. It was

Jacob

"Jacob!" Charlie ran towards him, he hugged immediately as Jacob hugged him back sobbing hardly on his chest. Jake who was now standing right behind Charlie was clueless about what to do next.

"Where is Max?" Jake asked as Jacob looked at him with his red puffy eyes.

"He is gone... he will never come back" Jacob mutters as Charlie and Jake looked at him with confusion and fear.

"What the fuck do u mean?" Charlie says a little rough as Jacob gulps with tears never stopping from streaming.

"ANSWER ME!" Charlie shouts as Jake widens his eyes.

"CHARLIE!" Jake scolds as Charlie sighs closing his eyes. What was this situation?

"Move!" Jake orders as Charlie moves to let Jake go closer to Jacob.

"What happened?" Jake asks now allowing Jacob to sit on the luxury bed. Even tho it was unusual to have an amazingly decored room in an abandoned house they all cared about was Max and Jacob. When Jacob didn't answer Jake let him calm down until Jacob let out a deep sigh nodding.

"Explain everything"
