Chapter 6

There in the crystal ball, I saw him again. Now getting a closer look, I saw that he was constantly holding his head and nodding. "Ah, the one you're looking for resides near Yellowgrowth kingdom, in the town of Velhella," she said emphasizing the 'Hell' in 'Velhella'. "I see, so how do I get to him?" I asked.

"The quickest way to travel to Velhella is by finding the one known as the Shadow King. He is a powerful being that resides within the shadows and can only be encountered by his will," she said. "So I have to waste time getting his attention from the shadows? Sounds like a waste of precious time. What are the other ways to get there?" I said.

"Well, you could always travel across the earth through the air but that would take you at least a few weeks. The world is a big place after all," she said. "Well, I had better be going," I said taking my leave. "Good luck," she said as I walked out the door.

I look around while I ponder how to go about fixing my current situation. Then something catches my eye. It's that Danny King guy from earlier. He notices me staring at me before disappearing. I look around for him but then feel something tapping my shoulder. I turn around and see Danny King staring back at me. "Are you looking for someone?" he asks me.

"...Yeah, Do you know anyone who can take me to 'Velhella'?" I ask him. "Oh, Velhella...why would a perfectly healthy gentleman like you want to go to such a dark and twisted part of the world?" He asked me as his facial expression lost all joy. "I have a mission to complete as soon as possible," I replied. "Mission? You must be really confident in your abilities to survive 'that place'. You need protection from all the monsters that run around at all hours of the day. You need someone to keep you alive from all the dangers no matter how significant since any danger is dangerous. No matter how strong you are, there is always a chance you'll run into something deadly, deadlier than you, " he said.

"Nothing is deadlier than me," I reply. "You want to test that? Or do you think that all your experiences are enough? Do you believe that you cannot be stopped by anything that you were put up against shows that you were the deadliest thing on the planet? If that is the case, then let me fight you. If I see you are good enough to survive Velhella, I will not only take you there, I will also accompany you." he said.

"Why should I trust what you say?" I asked. "When did trust issues ever stop you from achieving your goals? I saw you kill that vampire, I saw you put that intoxicated jerk out of his drunken misery, and I watched you closely when you took down all 201 of those ghosts. All are great feats but still are really nothing compared to the abomination of powers I hold in this vessel alone. From what I have seen so far, I am impressed but not impressed enough. So if you want to talk about trust? How should I trust you not to go get yourself too hurt in Velhella, huh?" he asked.

"Fine, you want a fight? Let's fight," I said. We then start taking off our coats and raise our fists. I punched Danny across the face which provoked him to retaliate with a barrage of swinging left and right hooks. I pushed him away and then he bounced back and tackled me to the ground. He then started rapidly punching me while sitting on my chest I then grab him by the throat and pushed him off me. I then quickly get up and boot him in the ace as he tries to run at me again.

"You hit like my wife!" he shouts with a smirk. I then run at him and wrap my hands around his waist then pick him up before slamming him onto a nearby lamp post bending it. He shouts out loudly as he starts driving his elbow into my shoulder as I keep driving him into the lamp post until it breaks in half. He then stops as I throw him into the ground. He then rolls onto his feet and dropkicks me making me stumble onto one knee.

After that, he thrusts his knee into the side of my head multiple times then grasped me in a sleeper hold. I stand on my feet and then run backwards hitting a brick wall causing Danny to let me go in pain. I then started striking him with strong uppercuts that made him stumble away back to the middle of the street. "Man, you really hit like my wife. I hope I can have you meet her soon. She is quite the fighter herself," he said.

"So are you ready to take me to Velhella?" I asked him. "Haha, very funny unintentional humour brother. you have got the strength but I already knew that. That is why we had this warm-up session. Now it's time to get serious," he said. "Before we continue, how long have you been watching me," I ask him. "A while now. it is hard to say exactly since time is a bit weird from where I come from. Trust me when I say, I know a lot about you man. I know your past and your present. I can see that if you take the right direction, you can control the future... but if you take the wrong path, the future will control you, brother. Help me to guide you, you can do whatever you need to do to accomplish your goals," he said.

He then starts stretching and then the air around us starts to change. A black mist surrounds us and Danny looks at me with a smirk. "Now we are in a special place in a place called the Shadow realm. I would tell you a lot more about this place if you manage to beat me up enough," he said as he got back into a fighting pose.
