Twenty-five

 "Alright let's make some hypotheses."

Ja Lia sat under a tree. He was sure that he was far from the hut. The hut which had had been tailing seemed never to be wearied and he was never wearied of hiding himself him from it. But at that moment, he was tired of walking. He should be willing to admit that.

He had been sitting there for a while before he was able to say something. He had been looking to and fro to notice if anything odd would happen at all. He seemed to be lucky that nothing odd was happening. He would had worked his way around it of course.

His sandals were becoming heavy. That was reasonable. He probably had been given to many thoughts. That shouldn't be the reason by the way. He probably had been so worried. That shouldn't be too. Twas obviously because he had been walking since. He couldn't say for how may hours. He couldn't also say the numbers of times he had rested too. Those were the things that he needed. And he was glad that his Instinct could agree with him. But he would be partly mad if his instinct would rest too because he was resting.

If he was sure, he was seating under an oak tree. He had no idea why they were so many oak trees in his part of the world. That shouldn't be his worries. He had better and urgent things which were the basis of his worries.

He wanted to have the worries rerouted. He wouldn't only seat thinking all by himself. He would have all the spirits walking to and fro do that with him. He would speak as loudly as he could. He wouldn't mind whatever would happen. He didn't care. He just wanted to ease his worries for the meantime.

He saw the raven he had seen earlier. The bird perched on a tree opposite where he was seating. He wanted to stand up from where he was but that would see ridiculous because technically he would be standing because of some bird. He should be able to kill the bird of course if it tried to act funny.

He stood up and walked around the tree for a while. He had forgotten what be was looking for. He seemed to be sharing his his thoughts between the Raven and what he was looking for. He needed to concentrate.

If he would be allowed to say, he might even be forced to say that the bird had power over his Instinct. That the bed was influencing his thoughts and manipulating him. He didn't know how true or ridiculous that was. It didn't really matter to him. He would be sane soonest.

He snapped outta what had seemed as an illusion to him and looked away from where he was standing to his left. He saw a fallen twig of the tree.

"That would do."

He muttered to himself and walked towards the twig to get it. He got there and bent to pick. As he did, he pick the stand. He wasn't sharp enough. The Raven had gotten there before his hand and had picked it.

He didn't know why he didn't notice that the bird was coming. Probably the bird wasn't some ordinary one. He could say that over and over again. Twas so and super obvious of course.

He looked behind him but he couldn't find the bird. He looked at the tree again, he saw the bird. Everything was happening too quickly and it seemed like some spell to him. He was more than confused but he didn't want to admit.

He stood up from where he was and went straight back to the base of the tree he had stood up from. On his way, he hit his leg against something that felt like a stump in the earth.  He didn't want to check out before but there was nothing to loose if he did try to check out.

He bent then and reached for the stump, only to pick up a thin metal rod. He was glad that he could hold his grasp on it. He would see what the crazy bird would be able to do then.

He went back to the base of he root and sat. He felt eased at that moment. He didn't know why though. He felt like he had accomplished the best goal ever in life. He didn't know why he was feeling that way. The feeling was odd. He shouldn't be nursing such at that moment. He needed something which was better and stanced. He needed to figure out what to do next and how to go about it and not being good or feeling as though he had achieved no one had ever.

He should had gone back to his hut but that seemed rather too dangerous for him. He could be haunted or hunted by the Nymph. For it was very had to draw a definite conclusion on what the lady was. Whether twas a ghost or human. He didn't care. He only didn't want to have anything do with her anytime soon.

Going to his house would mean a lot of things that he wasn't ready to cope with. Probably sooner or later he would be able to figure out if he would go or not. But not that time.

He looked towards the Raven again. It was still there. He felt like he needed to talk to it. He wasn't sure if twas a male or a female. All he knew and could see was a black, crazy but ugly bird. He detested and loathed it with all his heart and could puke on its qualities. The fuck!

The bird kept looking at him. That was wierd. He knew that standing from where he was never an option. He could never do that. He wouldn't be able to have his way around the other things. The bird might even catch up with him and taunt him. He wouldn't be able to hurt it. Maybe he would be able to. Since he had a metal rod with him.

"Hey crazy, where is your dipshit counterpart."

He was able to wield his words as he hurled it at the bird. The bird only looked at him as though he was being possessed. He couldn't even say when and how it had been. He only knew that he wasn't possessed. But he knew that he couldn't say precisely what was happening to him at that moment. He wished he could understand
