"Why do you have to disbelief always?"
The voice came again. He didn't know what to believe. He could hear the sound coming from the tree but how possibly could be knuckle under the fact that a tree was speaking to him. If he did tell others about it how many would take him seriously? He was skeptical. He had no idea but would figure out soonest.
He turned and looked back at the Raven. It was still sitting on the branch of the tree, feasting on the acorns that it had taken, and acting as though all was normal.
Of course it should be normal for a typical bird. What was he thinking? Was he thinking that the bird would come to his aid and tell him what he was supposed about to know about the mystery he had been enveloped in? He wasn't so sure about it but he wanted to be.
If only he could control the Raven and listen to itself rhythm. If only he would be able to make meaning of the bird. How lovely would it had been? He was damn sure that the bird would had been so aware of the whole shit and would tweet or sing about it.
He needed Jimin at that moment but he knew that he was long gone. He couldn't possibly get to meet him at that moment. If he said he would go back to his hut to look for him, what assurance had he gotten that he would be back to meet the bark of the tree speaking. He was only making hypotheses of course.
If he had known, he would had learnt alongside the fellow when he took a few courses in witchery and several other things which would help him to connect both with the dead and all animals. Most times he counted himself as the worst of them all while the rest as the best.
He felt like he should run away from there since there was nothing he could do. He was just standing there and had taken several backward before he had a rethink of moving closer to the place. Lots of complications to the whole thing. He needed time to relive himself or course.
After several speeches from the tree and none from him he had been navigating his thoughts but it seemed not to be enough for him. He would try out several other routes.
"Give me a reason to believe in you."
That was as simply as it could had gone. He was glad that he could make his words into those halves. Then he would wait for what would happen next. He didn't know if he would be able to take it. He was of course skeptical.
What if some monster came outta the tree or something? What would he be able to do? How would he be able to fight it? What if he got eaten up by it? What fate would catch up with him?
He wasn't sure what to think of. He was more than skeptical. He was far from getting himself together. Like getting composed. He was just way too jumpy. He should leave there already but what was the point after telling what his plan would look like. That would seem as though he knew nothing he was doing but was playing around. He could never afford that.
"What prove again do you need?"
That was odd. The tree or whoever who was speaking seemed wise. What was he thinking? Was he thinking that he would be talking to a spirit dummy or something. How would it be a dummy if twas a spirit? How possible that could be. He knew that it was never possible.
"Let me see who is speaking?"
He waited a while. Silence was called upon by the whooshing after the few seconds acrobatic pantomime. He was eager to hear the spirit out then.
He tried to filter the voice coming outta the tree in his consciousness but he didn't need it. No! He needed it but kept lying to himself that he didn't. That would never help him. He was more than sure about that. He was.
The voice coming from tree was the voice of lady. He was sure but didn't know how to merge with what thoughts he had been nursing. He was simply just reeling and rolling and swirling and dancing and turning and all. His hypotheses was defected. Maybe maybe not.
If the owner of that voice would take that long, he wouldn't know what to do then. He thought that he would have an idea but he wouldn't know what to do. He would only work his way around it and time would massage the pain of the all odds.
If the owner thought of speaking at least, he would there and if the fellow would not speak after several minutes, he would rain curses and leave there. He wasn't afraid anymore. He should get along with his business but he had been stuck with some bullshit which was even close to even claptraps.
He looked at his back again that time after a long while. The Raven was still there. He had no idea if twas never tired or wearied of getting things noted.
It was feasting on the left half of the grape and was dangling its tail. He could see vividly from where he was standing. He needed more than what he had but had no idea how to get it.
He wanted to know what would happen if it finish up the meal. He would be able to have rage teach him what to do if he was patient enough to listen.
It didn't seem as if getting patient was some distance shit which no one could attain. He was only way too jumpy to be the one for that context. He probably would do well with some other feelings. Or he could probably learn how to pull himself together. That could help too.
The bird had finished at that time and it seemed as though it still had something on its mind as it looked at the remaining thread which recently fell off the fruit. He was sure that twas some useless part of the acorns. He couldn't be too sure since he wasn't so close to the bird.
