The Kingdom of Ikpala.
"The emperor would be coming by Fortnight."
The King of Kula was the first to speak. As soon as he spoke, the king of Havila shot,
"I'm sure none of us needs to be reminded of that."
The King of Kula looked at him. Wearing him out with a fiery gaze. He looked away to the elegant lady seated beside him. The supposed new Queen of Havila, Lailah.
Like you would guess, Lailah was still wearing the form of the Ja Lia's new lover, Goi.
"Quite an eye you have for such a beauty."
The King of Kula said again, smirking as he worked his odd gaze on Lailah. Lailah smiled in return.
"We're not here for beauty."
The King of Havila said again. He had been looking around since quite a while expecting his son and he had been told that they were preparing him for a grand appearance with his lover.
"If I may ask, what are we here for?"
The King of Hubrim asked, but no one paid heed to him. He wouldn't push it definitely.
Twas an all royal meeting. None of the Kings went with their chiefs. Only their body guards escorted them.
They all were seated in the luxuriously furnished dining hall of Ikpala.
There were enough chairs to house all the Kings as well as the ladies amongst them.
The King of Ikpala was seated on the chair at the edge of the table to the North. Beside him on the right was the King of Havila and his new queen, who seated, had tucked her arm in his left.
To the left of the table from the King of Ikpala, were the Kings of Hubrim and Haojo.
Between these two kings was the King of Kula flaming and adding pep to the yet to evolve discussion.
Beside Lailah was Goi, who was wearing the form of Lailah. Lailah had swapped her form with her and to Ja Lia's surprised, Goi didn't even challenge or seemed to be worried.
Ja Lia was seated next to her.
Like you would guess, the tiger was straying to and fro, pacing the breadth of the hall. None of those seated seemed to be worried, except Ja Lia.
There were numerous delicacies on the large oak table. Steaks and large laps of cows, bulls, Hyenas, Venison, and full chickens. By these meats were several roots and leaves. There were gourds of wine and other drinks specially made for the royalties.
"Are two kings ruling in Havila?"
The King of Kula severed the tie of the silence again. He had said that looking at Ja Lia, tracing the gaze through the ladies to the King of Havila.
His gaze stopped on the king of Havila who smiled and shot back,
"I suppose three Kings are ruling Kula."
He had said that, tracing his gaze through the Kings of Hubrim and Haojo with the aid of the King of Kula seated between them.
One of the attendants of the king of Ikpala ran to him and bowed by his chair. The King tilted and the fellow whispered into his ears.
The King of Kula seemed to have a contention with that gesture.
As soon as the attendant left there, the King of Ikpala turned to all the royalties and said,
"Now we welcome, the prince of Havila and my lovely daughter, the princess of Ikpala."
No sooner he finished talking, than the prince of Havila and the princess of Ikpala began to march out.
The princess's face was covered and was down as the prince led her to the table.
As soon as Ja Lia saw the prince of Havila, he stood up immediately and hit the table then turned to Lailah.
"A dog off leash."
The King of Kula said, yet to see the prince.
None of the other Kings could figure out what was happening or what had happened to Ja Lia. Why he had done that.
Ja Lia felt like the only stupid person and sat. Lailah had her face decked with the crazy smile.
The prince and princess walked to the other side of the table, the south, and took their seats on the two chairs at the edge locked to the table.
As soon as the King of Kula saw the prince, he stood up too and hit the table in surprise, chewing,
"Impossible."
"Yes! I said it. My son is alive."
The King of Havila tapped the table. The King of Ikpala and the other Kings exchanged gazes in surprise.
Only the king of Kula and Ja Lia felt stupid and used. Well, Lailah who was appearing as Goi was the master planner.
"I killed him!"
The King of Kula couldn't hold back his rage anymore.
"Yes! I sent the my warriors to kill him and we even saw the surrogate of the prince showed to me by my sorcerer."
The King of Kula kept tumbling in words.
"Someone get a leash for this dog."
The King of Havila said looking at the King of Kula.
"He seemed to had gone wild."
He added.
"You can't possibly kill my prince because you're some psychopath."
He said again.
The King of Kula kept didn't pay attention. He kept muching that he had killed the prince of Havila, why was he there at the moment?
He had been happily waiting and expecting to see the King of Havila run mad when he sees the surrogate of the prince instead of his son. But he was the one running mad. How possible was it for the prince or Havila to be back?
Amidst the chaos and shout and all, the princess of Ikpala only wondered. She had no idea what the King of Kula was talking about.
She could only see Loe, and not the prince of Havila the king of Kula was talking about. She looked at the prince again. Twas Loe. Twas the surrogate to her. Why was it the prince to the King of Kula.
Lailah watched the spectacle go wild for a while and tried to avoid the gaze of Ja Lia as much as she could.
As soon as she noticed that the argument was going outta hand and the King of Kula was fighting his way towards the prince of Havila, kicking aside all the chairs to make sure the prince died again, she hopped on.
She started casting her spell. Chewing some inaudible words. She went for a while then...
Immediately, darkness ate up the hall. None of them could see each other. Twas a thick darkness everyone could feel on their skins.
"Out of my way."
The King of Kula kept swinging his sword, slashing through the skins no one could identify.
Muffled noise and cries enveloped the room as thuds all over the dining was being heard and the slicing of blades.
That went on for as long as possible, then peace and quiet.
Soon, the darkness was retrieved but the view was terrific.
All the Kings were dead, except Lailah, the prince of Havila, the princess of Ikpala and Goi who was now wearing her own real form and had snapped outta Lailah's long time spell. She turned at Ja Lia and gasped at the view.
Blood was flowing across the hall.
Ja Lia was seated in the same position staring exhaustively at Lailah. He didn't know what to thing.
Lailah was standing over the corpse of the King of Kula with sword drawn in her hand.
Sword dripping chaos and ruins.
