In the depth of the ocean.
"When the mortals and the immortal meet, to what do we owe that."
A very husky but quite rich voice came from ahead of them. The warriors couldn't figure out whose voice twas. Who was to blame that they were caught in such claws? Of course Aojen.
Three ladies remove the sacks covering the heads of the three warriors. They looked up at the ladies. They were extraordinarily beautiful. They hadn't seen any sort of ladies ever.
"Who are you and where are we?"
Aojen shot at the lady standing beside him. The lady didn't say a word. He looked up at her. She was barely naked.
What she had on was a strap of linen reaching across the two shoulders down the path of the boobs. The linen cupped the boobs, but left every other parts open.
Of course the waist down to the rise of the thigh had its own covering too. But the milk skin of the ladies shone with elegance. He could barely survive the rage of the beauty.
The lady turned and began to walk away from him. So did the other two who were behind his brother and the third guy.
"That question should be meant for me."
The husky voice came again. Aojen looked. There was a body of lava flowing few steps away from them.
He immediately fell back as well as the other two, thinking the lava was flowing towards them.
"Peace."
The voice came again. They quit the quaking. Not because of what the voice had said, but because the flowing lava seemed to have a border.
They looked past the lava. There was a huge man sitting on a golden throne. He wasn't like a typical man. He was many times bigger than the Emperor of Rome.
His face was broad but well chiseled to house the huge socket and thick lips. His eyes were fiery and his nose perky. He was good looking but his abs and muscles were terrifying.
Aojen's brother looked at him. That was a warning gaze. Neither of them would want to be held or crushed by those hefty hands of the man which was burdening the arm of the throne.
There were two lions by the each side of his throne. The lions looked well fed, but that wasn't why the warriors were at peace. The only peace they could confide in was the fact that there was a border of flowing lava.
"Ja Lia seemed to be acting of his own wills now."
The voice of the man came again. He was pointing at the wall behind his throne to the right.
In the wall, there came up a scene. Like the Emperor would show his own on a mat.
In the scene, there was Ja Lia running after a bird. The black Raven.
Aojen's brother chuckled. Poseidon looked at him at once. Twas hard to tell if he was angry or pleased. He wore the same gaze often.
The scene was retrieved. Aojen's brother felt smothered even before an evil sentence might fall on him from the monster.
"You sure know him."
Poseidon continued. The three nodded their heads. They had seen Ja only twice, but what was the point of admitting that to the seemingly indifferent fellow.
"I had recruit him to fend for my wiles. To break the yoke which had for long been giddy. Quite the numerous promised I made to him and vice versa but he seemed full of his own affairs and unbridled. What to do now?"
He quit talking. Aojen felt the need to say something but he didn't know how Poseidon would take it.
"There are three gold statues in one of my safehouses. I will give each one to you three. Such gold whose worth is beyond the earthly counterpart. You surely have no idea what worth it'd give each of you."
He paused and continued,
"Each gold statue would be for each of you if you carry out the task I have in stock for you."
Aojen took a peek at his fellows. Then he gave the serious peer. He was expecting one of them to say a thing. He didn't care anymore.
"What exactly do you want us to do?"
Aojen asked. Not cowardly, but you could tell from his mild tone that he was trying to be a faker skin of himself. Of course! Who wants to be destroyed in a remote place nobody would be able to pick your remains.
"Is that all you care to ask?"
Poseidon shot at Aojen, then looked through the other two. Aojen's brother seemed to have his own contention too,
"What did you ask that fellow to do and why did you choose us of all other?"
Poseidon stood up immediately. As he stood, the lava splattered everywhere. But lucky them, not a drip touched them.
"Either of the two isn't yours to know. "
He said, his firm voice flaming his desire. Then he make a call. Not in words, but in codes. You can't possibly explain everything you see.
Aojen turned. There was no door in that room or call it palace, behind them was just a vast expanse of illusion.
But then did the three ladies appear. Out of nowhere.
"My brain is sure dead."
The third warrior whispered into the ears of Aojen's brother.
The ladies walked to them and stood behind them as before.
Then they heard Poseidon say,
"They would show you what to do."
He said nudging his head at the ladies behind them. Then at once, he began to walk down the stairs of the throne towards the lava.
Aojen didn't know whether to move back or not. He remembered he was on his knees and there was a lady behind him.
He looked at the remaining too. They seemed to had had the brain dead truly. They were clueless.
He looked back at Poseidon, who was standing before the flowing lava. At once, Poseidon made a great leap into the lava and was gobbled by it.
The lava splattered all around again but they couldn't ignore this. Each of them had a share of the pain. But none of them retained a gore, their skin absorbed the lava without a scar.
There was nothing left. They turned to their back. More mystery.
The ladies were nowhere to be found again. There were three black panthers instead.
Now it made sense to them.
The Panthers turned their backs at them.
"What do we do?"
Aojen's brother asked. Aojen didn't say a word. He stood up and walked to the panther before him. He climbed on its back and the panther zoomed off immediately.
The two were left with no choice. Even the panthers could devour them if they dilly-dally.
