The Bond greeting

I was going to have a nice long vacation while I channeled Void through my arm.

Those plans were first stopped by an incredible pain in my arm which Athena diagnosed as me being an idiot and flooding my arm with too much energy.

Because of that, I went to a doctor.

"Leo Morgen, you can come in."

I hated going to the doctor. Everything was too clean, too white and bright. Before, if I was sick my dad would just use the pen to heal me if it was bad and otherwise I'd just walk it off.

"So, what seems to be the problem?" I may have been a little biased towards the doctor, I should've gone sooner, and I would've, had I known doctors could be hot women.

Now, that's not me being sexist or anything, I just had a very particular taste and not many people were seen as hot by me.

Anyways, I'm getting sidetracked here, I lifted my arm and put it on the desk.

"Are you saying you can't move it?"

I nodded. Don't ask me why I didn't speak, I don't know myself, maybe I was trying to be cool or something.

She had me put my arm on the table and examined it.

"No worries, your arm is just going through energy metamorphosis, flood it with energy daily for 6 hours a day for a year and you'll be fine."

"Wait, this is common?" Ah, the voice appeared.

"Oh, very common among mages. When you have a perfect energy affinity a body part stops being able to be moved unless the energy is siphoned through. With enough time the arm will completely be changed."

"What about pain. I got a lot of pain today."

"You hit your daily limit, I say six hours a day but everyone has their own limit, how long was it for you?" I had started the morning before around 8 and then I had felt the pain the morning after also around 8.

"If it's that, I think 24 hours." She looked at me like I was a demon.

"Your body could physically withstand pure energy coursing through it for 24 hours? That should literally be impossible, that would mean you have beyond perfect affinity with the element."

"Oh ok, thanks doc, how much do I owe you?"

She looked like she seriously wanted to punch me. "60 credits please."

"Isn't that a bit expensive?"

"Yes, but it's because you cut me off in such a way."

I quickly paid her the money, she was dumbstruck when I did it without effort or complaints and then I left.

Now, why did I go to a doctor for information I already had you ask? Because I didn't want people to realize that I knew things I couldn't possibly know. After the whole Hank incident, I was going to make sure that when things happened I'd react like a 'normal' person.

After that ordeal, I went home and slept for an entire day.

The next day I was going to watch some old movies or series when I got a call from Thea.

"Leo, I have a mission, you down?" I of course agreed since I'm a good friend.

----Maura-----------------------------------------------------

For the record, she had to convince him for an hour before he agreed.

----Leo---------------------------------------------------------

Ouch, that hurts.

Anyways, I suited up and went to Olympus.

"What's the mission?"

"We need to protect this rich kid when he goes to a mall."

[Mission: Protect Taecilius during his shopping trip

Rating: E-ranked

Description: Taecilius is the son of Taecilium and has had many attempts on his life.

He has one constant bodyguard but in a public place like the mall more are needed.

Duration:1 day at the most

Reward: Mind severing serum (Low quality)]

"Why do you need to serum?"

"That's ..." She suddenly stopped, like she couldn't process it herself. After a moment it seemed like her eyes cleared up but then they became a little clouded, like something was controlling her.

"That's a secret." I shrugged, the expression in her eyes was the one I had seen during the mission in Atlantis.

We teleported to the personal platform of this Taecillium dude and found a muscular man waiting for us.

"Hello, the name's Wind, Night Wind." I'm not making this up, he did the Bond introduction. His voice was deep and carried a hint of wisdom and age, although the guy looked pretty young. He was blond and had blue eyes and a stubbly beard. His face had sharp features.

"Hello, the name's Homer, this is Bolt. We're here for the mission regarding Taecillius?"

"You've come to the right place." He gestured that we should follow him.

Entering the house we saw four people sitting there. Night introduced us to them.

"These two little girls are Ana and Bao, they are the young master's friends.

And this is Last, their bodyguard."
