Dress

The next day Megan took the day off to go find a boutique that's willing to accept another order of dress. She went around the local boutiques, and they declined as they were fully booked with orders. Megan wasn't surprised, but was disappointed. She went to a shabbier boutique, but found the material of the dress is to bad. She accidentally ripped a part of the dress while she was trying it on. It ripped so easily so she didn't buy it, but still paid for the damages.

Megan then took a deep breath as she went into a slightly better than average boutique. This boutique was a little over budget and the dresses that's shown through the windows were pretty. Megan was about to buy one when the tailor had said they were fully booked too. Sighing, she then went to a high-end boutique... her last straw. She entered a boutique named "Dalatine's Boutique" and was in awe at the dresses shown on the stands. The pastel purple dress was extremely pretty, but undoubtedly pricey.

Taking a little bit of courage out of her, Megan asked one of the employees standing on the side for the price of the pastel purple dress.

"That gown cost two hundred gold coins as the material was made from silk that's rare to find. The details was carefully designed by the renowned fashion designer, Mr. Bricks..." the employee had talked on and on, but Megan's mind wandered somewhere else when she had heard the amount of money that the dress cost. Though her family was not struggling with money, two hundred gold coins for a gown was outrageous. Megan thanked the lady for kindly explaining and walked out of the shop with a defeated face.

Traveling around for the whole day, she then gave up around in the afternoon and went home. Being in a bad mood, Megan came back home and immediately went to the kitchen to grab a Zeppole to eat.

Seeing his sister binge eating, Theodore asked the obvious, "so you didn't get a dress?"

"Duh" Megan said back rolling her eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me... I won't help you if you do" Theodore said.

"Oh my goodness, my handsome and lovely brother of mine, how are you going to help me?" Megan asked with anticipation.

"I'll go ask one of my friends, but you have to cover my shift right now" Theodore answered.

"Okay!okay!" Megan said running to get her apron. "You can go Theo! I'll cover your shift!"

Theodore went to get cleaned up and went to the Yvonne mansion. He didn't know how to contact Victon, but he managed to meet him as the knights informed Victon a man named Theodore was here to meet him. Theodore told Victon about the dress problem and Victon said, "okay, come back in three days and I'll have the dress ready." Theodore knew this problem was a piece of cake for Victon, so he had asked him for help instead of running around town like a headless chicken trying to find a hidden tailor that will magically make a dress.

Theodore came back two hours after sunset as he shopped by the Central Market to buy some barbecue skewers. He came into the bakery seeing Megan cleaning the tables and chairs.

"You're back already? That was quick, what did your friend say?" Megan asked with her excited puppy eyes.

"They said to come back three days later to get the dress" Theodore answered eating his skewer.

"THREE DAYS? Do they have God's hands or something? How can they complete a dress in three days?" Megan yelled out in astonishment with her eyes popping out.

"I don't know, but I trust them so you'll be fine" Theodore said nonchalantly.

"...alright, thank you Theo!" Megan ran to Theodore for a hug.

"No problem sis" Theodore hugged back. 'If he hurts you, I'll fuck him up. Duke or not, I'll beat the shit out of him' Theo thought with murderous glare while hugging an innocent little Megan.
