First kiss

"Oh my, look at him smiling so widely" Princess Jenice commented. She was currently surrounded by ladies who are trying to curry good graces from her.

"I can't believe a commoner got the Duke attention!"

"I bet the girl was good in bed that's why he's in fluctuated."

"What's so good about her? She's not even that pretty."

Jenice was already annoyed by their presence, and now they're insulting her brother's girl? She gave an angry glare at the ladies who commented and said, "who are you to judge the woman that my brother picked? Just because she's a commoner doesn't mean she has a wicked heart. Watch your words." She then walked away from the annoying group of flies and to her brothers.

"Oh Jenice! Um... why are you mad?" Desmond asked as he noticed the girl's face was red.

"The flies dare to insult Megan so I left" Jenice blowed the hair out of her face.

"They have nothing better to do than gossip?" Hendery criticize.

"I get more annoyed when they "hohoho~" with those fans of theirs" Quinn rolled his eyes.

The couple finished their dance and thought it was time for them go to back. Victon went to where his family was standing to inform them.

"I will take Megan home first. I can't let my girlfriend go home alone" Victon said with a small smile. He could say she was his girlfriend now, it gave him happiness to no ends.

Mrs. Yvonne has noticed what Victon said, but decided to ask him later. "Megan, you are welcomed at our Yvonne house. Come over to visit anytime alright?"

"Yes, Mrs. Yvonne thank you."

Megan and Victon left the castle, boarded the carriage and went home. He helped Megan got out of the carriage and said with a sad tone, "I will be busy from now on, but I will come to visit as often as I can."

"I know. You are the Duke now so you will be busier, don't worry I understand" Megan smiled. She tip tied to give him a kiss on the cheek and said, "good night Victon."

Victon pointed at his lips and said, "can I get another kiss? I don't know when I will meet you again."

Victon continued as he stared endearingly into her grey eyes, "I will miss you even if only a day passed... Will you let me?"

She hesitated, then slowly nodded as confirmation. He came closer to her and cupped her cheeks. Megan closed her eyes as she felt his hot breath coming closer to her. She felt his soft lips touched hers, her heart thundered in her chest as her ears felt hot. She threw her arms around his broad shoulders as he slitter his arms around her waist pulling her closer. Victon sucked on her top and bottom lips hungrily before reluctantly back away looking at her flushed face and swollen red lips.

The couple had their first kiss under the soft moonlight in front of the bakery. Thank god it was past midnight and everyone is asleep, it would've been embarrassing to be caught.

Megan's face was a hot mess, she couldn't think properly as his kiss felt steamy and delicious.

Victon kissed her forehead that took her out of her dazed zone. "I will see you sometime next week. Good night my love" Victon said with his deep enchanting voice.

She immediately ran into the bakery with her face still red. Victon smiled and chuckled as he board the carriage satisfied.

For the next three days, Megan couldn't come out of her trance. She burnt a dozen donuts and made dough shaped into bunny.

"Megan, what is wrong you? What happened at the ball for you to be so out of your mind?" Theodore asked suspiciously.

"Darling, take the day off. Go find Marie to hang out with, if you keep burning those donuts we will be ruined" her father sighed.

Megan didn't say anything and left the bakery to go find Marie. She found her best friend at a café near where the "Hui Pharmacy" was.

"Marie!" Megan ran to hug her best friend who sat at a table in front of the café.

"Goodness Megan! You scared the living wits out of me" Marie held her chest.

"I got kicked out of the bakery because I burned the donuts" Megan pouted.

"You? Burning donuts? What's this about?" Marie asked drinking her cup of coffee. Megan's face started to blush then she squealed.

Marie looked at her best friend and thought she have finally lost it. "Are you going to tell me or should I start guessing?"

"It's Victon okay! He's officially my boyfriend and h-he AHHH kissed me" Megan squealed and smiled. Marie whistle, "my best friend got herself a man huh? Are you going to tell me or planning to keep me in the dark? Tell me what happened!"

Starting from the time Victon came into the shop to the ball then the kiss. "How am I not surprised? I told you that you have this positive energy that just attract everyone around you."

Changing her sarcastic face into a serious one, Marie then say, "Megan they know your identity now. The nobles are aware of your last name and will target you. The girls that insulted you, watch out for them. They will use money or anything to get rid of you because you are an obstacle for them to hurdle over in order to get to the main prize."

"Even if they got rid of me, how can they be so confident that they can get Victon's heart? More specifically his wealth, since all they cared about is title" Megan rolled her eyes.

"I know your boyfriend is not someone to trouble with, but I'm saying for YOU to be careful" Marie emphasized.

"Alright enough about me, what about you? I never got the chance to ask you about that blonde man who danced with you!" Megan's eyes twinkled.

"That man was weird, he kept asking intrusive questions. Half way through the dance I got tired and annoyed so I left the man" Marie said nonchalantly.

"HAHAHAHA that's my best friend" Megan laughed. The girls spent the entire day in each other's company as they catch up on each others' lives.
