Victon walked west of the Yvonne mansion to arrive at a building with gates. This is where the underground dungeon of the Yvonne family is located. The dungeon was originally located underground of the Yvonne mansion, but Mrs. Yvonne didn't like the fact that she's sleeping on top of bloodied men underneath. Mr. Yvonne then moved the underground dungeon to the left of the mansion, still in the Duke's property but further from the mansion and training grounds.
"Your Highness!" The knights guarding the building saluted. Victon gave a nod as he walked passed them into the building, then down the stairway to the underground dungeon.
The air down here was colder and it was iron scented. Victon looked at the knight in charge of the dungeon and said, "where is he?"
"I will lead you to him, Your Highness" the knight said with a bow. They walked through the enormous dungeon and stopped at the fifteenth cell. The knight took a key and opened the iron door to reveal a man sitting on a chair tied up. His arms tied to the armrest and legs to the legs of the chair.
"W-who are you? Where am I?" The man asked nervously looking into Victon's vicious eyes.
"Keep quiet. Only answer when you are asked to. You are not obligated to question me, only to answer me, understood?"
The man nodded his head quickly as his body started to shake as he stared into Victon's predatory eyes. Those bewitching eyes looked at him like they could eat him alive, moreover, Victon looked like he could throw the man away like a piece of trash.
Victon took a chair and sat on it with his legs cross and asked with a low chilling voice, "who are you working for?"
"N-no one, I work by myself-" the man didn't finish his sentence as Victon's fist kissed his face making it swollen within seconds.
"Lie again and I will start the torture. Who are you working for?" Victon said coldly making the man broke into cold sweat.
"I'm not lying, I-I work alone" the man insisted.
"I see you want to do this the hard way" Victon stood up, then grabbed a box which was placed in front of the cell. He settled the box next to his chair and took his hand to grab a black case of some sort. Opening it to reveal several long needles, walking up to the man Victon then pushed the needles underneath the man's fingernails.
"AHHHHHHURGHH" the man wailed out in pain, his eye started to water.
"Who are you working for?" Victon repeated. "Do you think I'm dumb? The pistol that was in your possession is very costly for a robber like you. Why go buy the nicest gun to rob a small bakery like that?"
"N-no one" the man persisted.
"How much were you paid? Does your life worth less than the amount the lady gave you? Should I propose to triple the amount?" Victon said as he took another needle and push it into the man's index finger.
"AHHHH" the man yelled in agony as he struggles to get out of the chair in which he did not succeed.
"I-I do not k-know h-her name" the man started as veins popping out of his head. "The l-lady h-had blonde hair and brown e-eyes. When she meet w-with me t-to assign me this m-mission she h-had a square e-emerald necklace. S-she gave me the gun and assigned me to b-break into the bakery, then k-kill the black hair g-girl. I didn't see the girl and was a-about to leave, but I saw the cash register a-and thought to rob while I was at it."
Victon noted the blonde and brown eyes with square emerald necklace. He clenched his jaw tightly as he thought what if Megan didn't leave the house to check up on the kids. She would have been shot to death if she didn't leave.
The man asked with a shaky voice that brought Victon out of his thoughts, "can you let me go? I have said everything."
Victon then gave a low chuckle that scared the living wits of out the man. "I need to see if this lady you have described exists, after that I will think about it." Then he stood up from the chair and left the underground dungeon and made his way to his office.
"Oliver" Victon called his trusty knight that follows him in the shadows.
"Yes Your Highness" Oliver bowed.
"Go check for any nobles ladies with blonde hair and brown eyes. See if that person owns a square emerald necklace" Victon ordered.
"As you command" Oliver bowed then left as fast as the wind blew on this cold day.
'I'm back from war and I still couldn't protect her' Victon thought as he clench his hands. His eyes had laid on hers and it refuse to let go of its gaze. She was the apple to his cold eyes, the warmth in his cool.
Victon sighed and thought, 'I should ask mother for advice.'
