"Megan! What was that-" Theodore opened the back door and came to a halt. He observed the scene before him before sighing, "I'll get the axe. Since you chopped down the tree, might as well as use the woods for fire."
She sat down again with the blanket hugging her body, Megan started to meditate again.
THWAK!THWOK!THWAK!THWOK!
Theodore split the tree with his axe. Seeing Theodore was struggling, Sura decided to cast the strength spell on him as well.
"What the-" Theodore saw his body lighting up then felt energy following through his body. Gripping his axe, he struck down on the tree making a crater splitting the snow into the ground.
"No wonder you were breaking the stool and table without lifting a finger... you would've destroyed the whole kitchen if you did lift a finger" Theodore looked down on his hands. "Hey Sura, I remembered you casted this spell on father. Can you make the spell less stronger? He works in the kitchen and might not know the hidden strength he is carrying."
"On it" said the she-dragon. Theodore looked at the back door opening then closing on its own.
"Well Victon don't need to protect you now. It's you who will protect him HAHAHA" he laughed as he looked at his sister sitting on the blanket.
Megan slowly opened her eyes and said, "he has his own enemies to worry about. I don't want to be a burden, if anything I would like to help."
"Yes, Young Madam of the Yvonne family" her brother said teasingly then meet with a snow ball thrown on his face.
"The disrespect! I helped you cut this tree and you throw snow at me!"
"What? I'm the Young Madam, I can do anything I want with you" she giggled.
The two continued to play with snow ignoring their responsibilities.
***************
Marie wanted to check up on Megan. She thought her best friend would get trauma from the kidnapping incident, so she wanted to check on her. She even went to the market through the snow to get her favorite snacks and an fresh scented candle since Megan was running out of it.
"..." Marie looked into the Vinnesia's back yard to see the siblings playing snowballs... but with the force of the snowball hitting their bodies, she wondered how they didn't bust their heads out. Marie just stood there in silence getting a signal out to her best friend.
Sensing the signal, Megan turned around to see Marie.
"You're open!" Theodore yelled as he threw his last snowball and hit Megan's neck.
"AHHH why would you aim at my neck! Stupid!" She complained. Then paying no attention to her stupid brother, Megan ran up to Marie standing with her usual stone face.
"Marie! What are you doing here?"
"I thought you were sad because of the incident... but it seems like you are just fine" Marie ruffled her best friend's hair. "Where's little Sura?"
"Up here" said the she-dragon turning back visible.
Marie opened her mouth to ask, "what spell did you cast on them for them to have such force on the snowballs?"
"Strength" said Sura.
Marie kept her mouth shut as she thought the many accidents to come. But it made sense for the Blessed Child to have powers it's just... it's Megan. Her best friend is very energetic and with this bonus, this two-story building would not hold on long enough. Even the apple tree is destroyed.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Screaming was heard by the three. They looked at each other then ran back into the kitchen then passing the counter to see a fire.
Black smoke was filling the air as it's coming from a fire in the middle of the bakery. Some customers were frightened and ran out of the bakery, while some tried to help distinguish the fire.
Mrs. Vinnesia tried to protect the customers and evading them as Mr. Vinnesia was stomping on the fire, cracking the floor. "Why is this fire so persistent?!" He yelled in confusion.
Megan and Theodore quickly got some buckets and was filling it with water. Marie took the nearest towel and wet it to put on the fire for Mr. Vinnesia to stomp. The fire unexpectedly went through the wet towel making Marie confused.
The fire became bigger by the minute. Megan and Theodore took their buckets of water and pour it onto fire, but it didn't diminished.
"Why is water not working?! It's fire!" Megan yelled.
By the time the last customer went through the door of the bakery, Sura became visible again. "Megan! It's not originate fire! You have to use water spells!" said the she-dragon as she cast a spell on Megan.
Megan felt a cool and calm feeling through her veins as her body glowed. She held up her hand preparing to shoot out a water spell when she got interrupted.
"Blessed Child..." a chilling voice came out of the pile of fire.
"Did the fire just TALK?" Theodore exclaimed.
"Blessed Child, you are to heed to warning. Forget your destiny and live quietly for a child like you should not be blocking my path" the voice demanded.
"Who are you?!" Megan yelled back at the flame.
"The one you are destined to encounter... the one you are to kill and defeat. I am here to warn you... do not cross my path! Heed my warning and I will make your death less miserable and less painful."
"What are you going to do if I don't intervene?" Asked Megan.
"To capture the finest creation and make those infinite spells mine own! Once I have the spells, I can conquer all the lands and seas!" A menacing laugh follows.
"You are not touching MY Sura! In your fucking dreams! One touch on my baby, I will send you flying!" She bellowed. "No wonder I have to defeat you! You are too selfish!"
"Even if I don't have the finest creation, I am strong. Heed my warning and mark my words, you will regret angering me..." the voice faded as the flames turns into embers and disappeared into the air.
