Chapter two : What happened to her

*Officer Wilson POV *

*flashback*

Officer brown and i have just arrived at the scene where the car accident happened. As we were walking closer Officer Reid walked over to us with a sad and tired expression.

"Brutal car crash. One women at the age of 45 now dead. from what we can see she was under the influence of alcohol and drugs. From what we can see she looks like she is an alcoholic and drug addict, but we are not one hundred percent sure" said Officer Reid

Just as Officer Reid has finished talking and informing us we see Officer Kerr hushing to us. " I found her wallet. Her name is Janet Taylor. She has a child but we did not find the child in the car or around the area. i checked the back seat only to see nothing". We look at Officer Kerr confused. " what do you mean by that" officer brown asked taking the wallet from officer Kerr and examining it.

i glance over at the wallet to see a picture with Janet and a little girl who looked about 3 or 4 years old. Both were smiling. You could see the love and happiness on their faces.

Officer reid then had a look of panic then explained. " i went to check the back of the car seat to not find anyone only to find nothing". Officer Brown then looked at him confused that's a good thing.

Officer Reid shook his head then said that " what i mean is that there were no signs of a kid or any seat for kids". It makes no sense". He does have a point. The kid should be with the mother.

" The girl should be about 13 to 15 years old by now. Maybe she is n school or shes homeschooled" I say

"I understand where your coming from but i agree with Officer Wilson. No one knows anything about her child now. Its as if she vanished into thin air". Office Brown says

The officers we talking and decided to find her child. Officer Reid sighs and rubs his face saying, "ok, Wilson and Brown lets go find her child." Officer Wilson and Brown nod their heads saying, "yes sir."

"Where does Miss Taylor live now?" Officer Brown asked. Officer Kerr replied by saying, "Oh she lives on Edmonton Street." Officer Brown and I nod at her. "Ok ma"am, We'll be leaving to Miss Taylor's house." I say.

We walked out of the scene, went to the police car, and started driving towards Edmonton Street.

*flashback end *

We arrive to Miss Taylor's house to inform her child about her mother. We pull up to an old and messy looking house. We then knock on the rusty door waiting for someone to answer.

The house was quiet like no one lived there for ages. I look inside the window and the house was empty. I saw a ton of bottles on the floor and the tables were piled with random junk.

"Brown, there isn't a child in the house." I say to her. "hmm... that's weird." Officer Brown said sounding confused. One of Taylor's neighbors approached us. "Excuse me, are you looking for someone?" The neighbor asks. "We're looking for Janet Taylor's child." "Did you see her?" I tell the neighbor.

"I'm Mrs Johnson, I know them but i haven't seen her daughter for thirteen years." "I remember seeing her when she was four or three years old. She was cheerful, smart, and she smiles like an angle." Mrs Johnson says.

Oh, you didn't see her daughter for thirteen years?" "What happened to her?" I asked. "Her name is Raven, she always plays outside alone." "I never saw her mother with her." "One day, I got worried because I didn't see Raven outside." "I went to her mother to ask what happened." Mrs Johnson says.

*FLASHBACK 13 YEARS AGO*

Mrs Johnson was worried about little Raven. She hasn't seen the bubbly child playing outside or coming to her to talk and play. Mrs/Johnson saw the little girls mother walking to her car so she went to ask about the bubbly little girl she oh so missed. "Excuse me Miss.Taylor where is Raven? I haven't seen her in so long and i'm a little concerned if shes ok or if she's sick and if you would need some help with her".

Janet turned around to the voice of her neighbour and as she had a look of disgust. "My daughter died two months ago. I dont like being talked to so please leave me alone" She said harshly as she went into her car slamming the door shut and leaving the driveway harshly.

Mrs Johnson could not believe what she heard. She did not understand what was happening and she was so confused. A small tear ran down her cheek as she stared at the house. Something was not right. She felt something off. She didn't know what but she knew something was not right.

With that she hesitantly turned around and walked back to her house.

*FLASHBACK END*

Hmm something's not right. Everything seemed a bit off.

"I didn't believe her. Somethings was not right. I'm very worried about what happened to raven. That girl meant a lot to me. She was an angel and would bring smiles to everyone's faces. Please i beg you find her and tell me she's safe. please tell me she's not dead.....She can't be dead". i heard here whisper the last part. We will find out what happened. " Thank you Mrs. Johnson, we will find out what happened to raven we promise". Officer Brown said as she gave a small sad smile to Mrs.Johnson. With that she left while we walked back to janets house to see where little Raven could be. Lets hope she's okay.

Yet she was far from okay.
