She's a quiet princess from an ice planet with a people known to be just as cold. He's a warrior prince from the planet which has conquered all in it's path. Surely nothing can go wrong...

A Kingdom of Fire and Ice

"Timur!" Belia feels something break in her as she watches one of the palace guards open fire on Timur. Timur slumps over, and the guard goes over to him.

"It wouldn't have ended up like this if you just married Mistress Voronin," the guard says. The guard puts the barrel to Timur's head. Belia can no longer control herself. She lets her emotions get the better of her.

"Step away from him," Belia says, her body filling up with rage.

"And what are you going to do--" the guard starts to say. Belia reaches her mind out to his and begins to torture him. He writhes in pain as Belia does her worst. "Make it stop!" he pleaded with what was left of his sanity. Belia locks the guard in his worst nightmares, making the pain he imagined a reality. In a short matter of time, the guard falls to the ground, his brain fried from what Belia did to him. Finally, Belia gains some control over herself. The immediate threat gone, Belia rushes over to Timur.
