Chapter: Meeting Daniel Yang Part 2
Anna walked to the clinic, she saw Kate, sitting on the chair, talking with her boyfriend,
Kate saw her and waved
She waved back and smiled at her
Anna directly walked to the sink and washed her hands. She picked up the rag soaked it in the basin with disinfectant liquid and started to wipe the table, the wheelchair, and the cabinet.
"What are you doing ?" Kate asked her "Stop that" She continued
"It's okay, " she replied
After talking with her boyfriend, walked closer to Anna
"Hmmm," Kate said, "Sir Thomas was looking for you yesterday?" She said
"hmm" She's busy washing the rag and hanging it on the corner, near the glass window
"Based on my observation yesterday I think they already knew you, Anna," she noticed
Anna agreed " I am sorry I lied, I already met them before working here, Chairman Yang offered me a job, I met them once, I think a couple of months ago" Anna explained
"Wow!, " she was amazed "How? family friend"
"Not totally family friend...Chairman Yang is my grandfather's best friend so...only that"
Kate look seriously
"But don't think I am from a wealthy family, how I wish" she chuckled "We didn't own any single penny here" she continued
"oh I knew it, Nicey and I talking about you last night...we were thinking you knew them, oh my goodness don't tell them what we said yesterday," she said
"Don't worry, Tomorrow they know it already" She walked through the receiving area
"What?" Kate followed her
"I'm just kidding," she said and sat on the wheelchair " Of course I will not, I am not that kind of person, you can count on me" she replied
"promised" she worried
"Promise Ms. Kate, pinky swear" She stood up and offered her pinky
"Tsk!...that's childish " she commented
and they laughed
after a minute, An old man came to them, Ms. Kate greeted him
"What happened to you?" she asked
Anna stood up and observed them
"Ms. Kate, Can you check my Blood pressure" he requested and sat on the chair
Anna took the BP app and the stethoscope from the drawer
"tell me what do you feel?" Ms. Kate asses him
"I felt my nape is in pain, I had a bad headache," he said "and I felt dizzy " he continued
Anna took his blood pressure, she was surprised that the blood pressure is 150/90, which is a high
"What is your common blood pressure?" Anna asked
the old man looked at him
"She's Anna, Mr. Sanchez" she introduced him
"Ah...I am hypertensive, and Ms. Kate knew that" he said " 140/100 is my usual BP " he replied
"What is his latest BP Anna?" Kate asked
"It 150/100 " she replied
" oh that's high... have you taken your medicine?" Kate asked him
Mr. Sanchez sighed
"What is it?" she asked
"No, I haven't because I have already emptied my boxes, I forgot to buy them yesterday, so I was planning to buy them now, but I am in pain so..."
Ms. Kate stood up and looked at the medicine cart if he had antihypertensive drugs
"What is your maintenance," she asked while looking at the cart
"Amlodipine 10mg" he answered
"Lucky you! we have here, you should drink it now, have a rest first on the bed over there" she said
Ms. Kate, assisted Mr. Sanchez in walking to the bed, and gave the medicine
Anna got the glass of water and gave it to Mr. Sanchez thus he could drink his meds.
Anna and Kate walked out and sat in the receiving area,
"Mr. Sanchez is our delivery man, he is usually coming here and wanted to check his blood pressure," Ms. Kate said
"'re going to check his blood pressure after 30 minutes," she said " If his blood pressure is not decreasing we will refer him to the nearest hospital"
Anna nodded
"You right, that's scary ... Hypertension is a silent killer, so he needs to be confined, if our management is not effective"
Ms. Kate nodded and looked at the wall clock, it was already 11 o'clock in the morning
"You should eat first, " Ms. Kate said
" I'm not hungry" she answered " Go... have some lunch first, I will stay here," she said "You know we can't leave him alone " she continued
Anna wanted to stay, but she followed her senior.
Anna was walking to the canteen when someone held her head,
"Hey !" Anna raised her voice and she thought it was Tom,
"hmm maybe this time you will not go home early ?" he said and he removed his hand from Anna's head
"Oh...!!" Anna said
"Hi!..." he greeted him
Anna smiled at him
"So maybe this time you knew I am Daniel Yang," he said and stopped in front of her
Anna stopped walking " No!.. stop pretending to be him.." she said " I can be your friend even if you are not Daniel Yang " She move aside and continued walking
Daniel followed her " Why you don't want to believe me?" he asked " I am just telling the truth" he insisted
"mm" she's thinking "Why do you want me to believe you ?" she asked
"well because you are the only one who doesn't believe me and I wondered why ?" he continued
Daniel stopped, when he saw Tom sitting in the corner, having lunch with his staff.
"did you see that guy...?" Daniel Asked pointing to Tom and Anna nodded to him
"Yep" she stands beside him
"That guy is my cousin...my favorite... and my best friend" he proudly said
Anna laughed
"Oh really ?" she sarcastically asked
" you don't want to believe me" he looked at her
Anna agreed with him "You're lying " she said
"I'm not"
Anna sighed " Here... What if I told you... that guy" she was pointing to Tom " That guy is my husband ?" she winked at him
Daniel laughed so loudly that everyone could hear them, they looked at them, and they both smiled at them
"Don't mind us...sorry "they both told to them
and continued walking, to the counter and choosing their lunches
"That's a lie" he whispered
"No, I am not lying," she said and looked at him
Daniel studied her, he knew, she was lying
"Dreamed on" he replied to her while holding his tray
"see... that's it, you don't want to believe me," Anna said " But I am telling the truth" she seriously said
"He is your crush ?" Daniel said " I will do believe that " Daniel continued
they both walked to the corner where Tom was seated.
"Wait...wait" Anna called him
"What?" he stopped and asked
"Where are we going, let's sit here "
"you don't want to sit there," he asked
" No..." she answered
'"I thought he is your husband?" Daniel asked " I am going to sit there because he is my cousin " and winked at her
Anna sighed "Let's sit here, okay.... sometimes we need privacy... you know" she replied and put her food on the table and sat on the chair.
Daniel laughed out loud
" If I never knew him, I'm gonna believe you," he said "You are truly amazing," he said
Anna laughed
"best actress," Anna said
"Yeah " he answered "
they both started to eat
"Tell me, did you join any club about stage acting ?"
"Yes!, I was, when I was a first-year college..." she replied "
"No wonder"
" And I stopped joining any club after that" She drink her juice
" why?"
"mm, I need to focus on my studies, I failed one of my subjects in the first semester... I was terrified that time... so I need to focus on my studies...that is why .." she said
"Oh..." he continued to eat his lunch
Daniel chuckled
"What?" Anna said
" Me when I was in college... My parent is always in the guidance"
"college...?" Anna asked
"Yes... actually high school and College" he reminisced " I am the most haughty" he described himself
they both laughed and enjoyed that time,
Tom stood up and joined with them.
Anna was surprised when Tom was seated next to Daniel
"Bro!" Tom Greeted him
"Bro!" he replied "Come and eat with us" he continued
"no, thanks I finished my lunch..." he said "Have you talked to Lolo?" he asked Daniel
"Yeah, we did" and he looked at Anna
Tom looked at her " You knew him?" he asked
"No, " he answered
"He's my cousin... he is Daniel " he introduced him
Anna wanted to melt when she heard him, she was ashamed and couldn't look at Daniel, she bit her lower lip closed her eyes, and frowned
"See, from his mouth, not mine," he told to Anna
"Okay... I'm sorry " she apologizes to Daniel
Daniel laughed
"What?" Tom wondered and was confused about them
"She doesn't want to believe that I am Daniel Yang and I told her you are my cousin, but she doesn't want to believe me"
"What?" Tom commented "How could you?" he asked
"I am sorry... I thought he was a poser or just pretending to be Daniel" she answered
" so, do you want me to tell him that you are..." Daniel said
Anna stood up "Oh my goodness...please stop!" Anna interrupted him "Please... no "
Daniel laughed, Tom was surprised at her reaction
"what is it tell me what?" he asked
"Nothing !" they both answered
"It's our secret," Daniel said and he zipped his lip while looking at Anna
Tom wondered
"You knew her?" he asked Daniel
"I met her yesterday " he replied
"Ohh that is why you went home early yesterday?" Tom asked her
"No!" She said
"But I don't know her name... sorry I didn't ask your name.." he said to Anna
" It's Anna" Tom Interrupted
"Have you guys met before?" Daniel asked
"Yes" Tom and Anna chorus
"Oh my...how did you know her " he's confusing
" You guys look like know each other, you are talking to her without knowing her name," Tom asked
"We just met yesterday Tom" Daniel excused
Tom smirked "She's the granddaughter of Lolo's best friend"
"Hell no!" he commented, he looked seriously at Tom and looked at Anna "Are you?" he asked
Anna nodded
"Oh my... nice meeting you Anna" he chuckled "Why you didn't tell me before," he said
"You didn't ask" she replied
all of them laughed
"so it's my fault," Daniel said "alright... I want to apologize for that" he replied and chuckled
"It's alright," Anna said
"so, who is more handsome... me or Tom," Daniel asked her
Anna looked at them
"Hey, you should choose me," Tom said
"And why is that..." he complained
"Because I'm her Kuya" he replied
"What?" Daniel was surprised "Dude that's bias" he complained
"Hey, Anna I know your secret... " he warned her
"Alright alright!" he said " I have the answer, she said "
"Who is it?" Daniel asked "Taran,...taran....the drum rolling !" he continued "Who is it ?"
anna, pointing "Hmmmmm" she wants to thrill them,
"You !" she pointed to Daniel
"What?.. that's unfair," he said "You threatened her"
"Sometimes you need to use that, for you to win in a battle," he said
"tsk tsk !" Tom clicked his tongue " That's not count"
"Sorry dude... You lost " he laughed
Anna looked at her wristwatch, "I..I have to go" he said and stood up
"No...no stay please, " Daniel said
"What?" she needs to work, " Tom said
"Nurse Kate is already here, " he's pointing Kate to the doorway
Anna turned back she waved to Kate, she was with Nancy
They waved back to her, she walked toward them when suddenly a guy came to her
"Hey, you're new," he said
Anna looked at him and nodded
Tom and Daniel stood up
"Next time if you laugh, be courteous, your a lady," he said
"I'm sorry," she replied "Yes sir I will"
"Kent!" Daniel called his attention "What is wrong?" He asked
Kent turned and looked at him
"Daniel your already here, " he chuckled, " you guys think Is this your playground? He said
Daniel frowned
"I'm sure you're playmates are happy right now, " he looked at Tom
Anna cleared her throat
They looked at her
"I think I have to go" she diverted them " They are looking at me here" she whispered
Tom poked her
"What?" She asked him "Chairman Yang," she said looking at the door
The rest of them were looking at the doorway, they thought the chairman is there
They are looking seriously at her
"Uh oh!" She said and walked away from them
She stopped at the elevator door and sighed
"What I am doing!" She said, "Haist" Anna hissed "Do you really think you are close to them " she murmured
Then suddenly someone tapped on her head
Anna looked back, It was Tom
