Chapter twenty seven

**MYEL'S POV **

After everything Lauren has done for me ,I won't let her life and all the efforts she has made go in vain .I will need to free her from this boundary before it gets too late .

But whom can I call to come to my aid at this hour of the day ? ,she asked confused as Joshua's name dropped in her mind .

Yes Joshua ,he will help me clear this mess up .

'She orders one of her maidens and sends for Joshua at the time which the king was taking a nap .*

My queen ,Joshua enters her hall and greets her .You sent for me ,my queen and I'm here at your call .

Yes Joshua ,i sent for you because I need your help .It's about body possession and this needs to be done as fast as possible .

My queen ,if you are in search of a witch doctor to unveil everything to you then there 's no problem .We can start now if you want .

Wait Joshua ,are you a witch doctor ? ,she asked .

No my queen ,I'm not but I can get you a witch doctor within these chants .I was thought by my grandmother .At my chants ,she will be here .

Alright then ,do what you have to do to bring her here now .

Before I proceed ,the doors and windows of this chamber must be closed . He set up fire in Myel 's room inside a metal basin and crossed his legs as he sat behind the fire .He recited some words and a woman who was clad in a white robe appeared from the thin air and stood beside Lauren who was lying down on Myel's bed .There was no fear etched on Myel's face as she was determined to free Lauren's life from harm .

**KRYSTAL'S POV **

Can we start now ? ,she said as all the openings to her chamber was closed .*

The witch doctor brought in by David was a hand maiden in the palace ,however she had charms to clear out the possessed and no one except David knew about this .She began to recite her chants in the presence of the love between Laura and David .They were both tied to each other on a chair .

Once the room became heavy by her chants ,a woman who was clad in a white robe with long silver hair falling below her butt appeared from thin wind and stood by the wall which only the hand maiden who was the witch doctor could see .

Manifest yourself ,she said to the woman throwing a white substance in her direction and she was standing there right before their eyes calmly .

**MYEL'S CHAMBER **

The woman has not come to harm you ,the witch doctor said .She has come to gift you healing and she couldn't grant it to you because once ,she died because of you .She used her power to save you from your generational curse and went into exile .She didn't die ,her soul was asleep but now she has come back to life and wants to take over another body for her work . Your sister is innocent ,pure and kind hearted and that's why ,she settled into her .Your sister's soul found it difficult to accept her and so each time ,she came around ,she came with a rage of force which took control over your sister and you .If your sister allows her to settle ,then she will be calm and leave once she has finished with her task .

**KRYSTAL'S CHAMBER**

I have not come to harm you ,she began to speak but Tamini needs to settle in a body to dispense her healing as needed .I couldn't settle in your sister's body because she had once been possessed by a strong force which destroyed everything it settled on.

Laura ,she called out ,you are the chosen one for this work .Your body will be the medium through which I will give out my healings . Once you learn to accept me ,I will come as a friend and settle with you and once my work is done ,I will leave the world forever .This is my last assignment and after this ,Tamini will be gone .Accept me and I will visit you like a friend and not your foe ,she leaves and everything comes back to normal .The room becomes lighter and free which shows that ,the spirit possessing the room is gone .

***MYEL'S CHAMBER ***

Your sister is the chosen one ,Lauren .Tamini has come to save and not harm anyone so calm down and let her work as per her wish .Once she uttered these words ,she vanished into thin air with all the materials used for the chants and cleared the room maintaining it like it was before .

Immediately she left ,Lauren ran to hug Myel who was standing still after what happened .

**KRYSTAL'S CHAMBER ***

The spirit will do her no harm my queen ,the witch doctor said . All she needs to do is to accept her with her warm welcome . My name is Sara if you care to know and I'm in charge of cleaning the dishes in the kitchen .

Thank you, Krystal said hugging her and offering her gold coins as a form of gratitude. Henceforth ,you will be part of my personal hand maidens .You will assist Laura ,Sara .Go and pack your belongings and move into my chamber .

May you live long my queen ,she said and sought permission to leave.

Laura and David shared a kiss as it was the perfect opportunity to express how much they loved each other .

I wondered if my love story will be the same too .

Thank you ,Laura said embracing me in tears .

I was happy that I could do something to help her out .

For the first time ,it seemed as if I was cool with everything that just happened .There was no fear etched on my face ,I thought as I opened all the doors and windows in my chamber humming a melody .
