Chapter twenty nine

Here she is Sara ;Laura and Sara set down into the garden and find Krystal sleeping on the swing like a newly born baby .Her hair had covered her face completely and she seemed calm .

My queen ,it's morning ,Laura whispered into her ears .

Oh God ,I can't believe I slept out the whole night .I'm after you ,she says to her handmaidens .

'What about this blanket ?

"I'm sure Laura covered me with this so that I don't catch up with cold .

She smiles wildly .."

"My Prince ,I have already prepared your robe ,she says brushing his hair "

'Princess Rhian strips the brush from the hand maiden's hand and instructs her to go while she takes charge '.

Go away ,I said .

I haven't instructed you to go yet Diana ,you leave when I say so .Take the brush from the hands of my wife and continue your duty .

"Unbelievable .....!!!"

She says and leaves the chamber in anger .

***THE KITCHEN OF MUGAL ***

Where is Sara ? ,Rachel who is the head hand maiden of Queen Gema asks the rest of the handmaidens in the kitchen .

"She now works as a personal handmaiden in the chamber of Queen Krystal ,a maiden responded ".

"Since when .....?

" It was since yesterday that the changes were made ,she said going back to her post to continue her work ". *

Since yesterday ? ,she continues to think about this when she came out of the kitchen .She made changes without Queen Gema 's knowledge . Queen Gema is the only one who has the right to make such changes because she's the head queen ,however ,it seems Queen Krystal wants to snatch her position away from her .The queen must hear about this ,she rushes into the chamber of the queen .

My queen ,I overhead it myself when I was about entering the kitchen .Queen Krystal has made Sara her personal handmaiden and she's over there in her chamber as we speak .Henceforth ,she will no longer be working in the kitchen and queen Gema has no idea about this .In no minutes time ,Rachel will tell her .

It's about to finally blow .Maybe my plans for the music and dance ceremony failed but this time around ,it's obvious that queen Gema will react .

Queen Krystal made sudden changes without informing her as the head queen .This means that ,the war has finally started between Queen Krystal and Queen Gema .Out of this ,I shall gain the position that I want .

***QUEEN GEMA'S CHAMBER ***

I want you to paint my lips some more so that ,I look attractive and pleasing to the king at the royal court .I can't allow Krystal to lure the king with her beauty ,she instructs one of her handmaidens.

My queen ,Rachel enters the room panting really hard .

Rachel ,what's wrong ? she asked standing up from her chair .

"Get her some water ,she instructs the handmaiden who was staring at Rachel with the corner of her eye."

'I said get her some water and stop staring as if you have seen a ghost ,she shouts this time around '.

Have some water Rachel and leave the room now ,she says to the handmaiden .

Calm down and tell me what the issue is ,Rachel .I only sent you to fetch Sara from the kitchen for me and you come running and panting as if you are been chased by a tiger .

My queen ,she begins to speak after drinking some water .Your title as a head queen is on the line .If you lose guard for a second ,then you will lose it .

Rachel ,I didn't serve you water to speak to me in parables so be clear and precise with your words ,she cautioned .

Queen Gema,you are the head queen of the kingdom .You are the only one who has the sole right to make changes in the dispensation of the works of the handmaidens right ?

Of course Rachel ,who else has that right to do so except for me . All the handmaidens obey me and no one else when it comes to how they will dispense their duties in this kingdom because I 'm the head queen .

Where's the Lydia ;the one I sent to spy on her and bring me every piece of information about her .

My queen ,you seem to be forgetting about the fact that ,you sent her away to take care of her dying mother after she poured the starch on Queen Krystal's stair case so that ,she will be less suspicious of her actions .

But Krystal still made it to the event anyway .She still managed to make it after everything I plotted against her so Lydia needs to come back to this palace and continue her duties .

Her dying mother is not as important as my title ,she says and calls three of her guards .

Go and bring Lydia back from her house into my presence. Drag her if she refuses to come along with you and don't hesitate to end the life of her dying mother if she intrudes into your business ;after all ,she will die anyway .
