Chapter thirty two

'After queen Krystal was declared innocent ,queen Gema expressed her dissatisfaction towards the issue but she kept it all to herself '

'Once Krystal turned her gaze in the direction of the crowned prince ,she found him starring at her and expressed her surprise for that .'

'Why is he constantly starring at me ? '

'Did she notice that I was starring at her ? '

Hey love ,are you listening to the king ?

'Just in the nick of time to ruin in my sweet thoughts '

Don't start here too Rhian ,Wales whispered into her ears .

Oooo ,it seems that he is very close with his wife but just yesterday ,he was arguing with her .How wondrous ? ,I thought .

The next thing I want to say is that I have thought widely and I have made several changes to my decisions ,King Duxan continues to speak .

I have been selfish as a king and as a husband when I didn't think about my crowned queen ; Queen Gema .

I have loaded unto her various titles even as she's expecting my unborn son and because of the stress she goes through , she does not dispense her duties as needed . This is why I have decided to free her from any duty I assigned to her so that she gets the adequate time to rest and take good care of my baby .

"Queen Ryza smiles to the king's statement as it looked as if everything is falling into place as she wished .'

"Finally the king will give me what I truly deserve as his queen ; queen Cassie announces in her head ."

The other queens wondered who the king would ordained his powers to this time ".

My king .....Queen Gema called rising to her feet majestically .

Ever since you ordained the authority to me as the crowned queen ,the head queen and the seed bearer of this great and powerful kingdom ,it has never crossed my mind as a bother to dispense my work as needed .

My king ,I have held on to these titles even when I carried your treasures in my womb ;referring to her daughters who have been married off already .

But I had no problem in dispensing my duties so why would I have it now ?

My king ,if you are worried about our little prince who is kicking in my womb ,then don't worry because I have everything under my control .I will protect our little son with my life ,my king.

Queen Gema , the king interrupted ,I know your capabilities but you have held on to this title for a long time and your work has been appreciated but it's time ,I made changes to certain things in this kingdom .

My king ....she was cut short immediately by a wave of the king's hand and without a word ,she sat down .

Before I make my changes ,I would like Queen Krystal to step forward and propose what she wishes from me in front of everyone who has gathered here today .

She couldn't do it the last time because of her wounded feet but looking at her ,I can boldly testify that she's fit to ask for anything from me .

'Once Krystal made her way to stand in front of everyone , there was just one question on everyone's mind .

WHAT WOULD SHE ASK FOR ? '

**KRYSTAL'S POV **

My king ,along with your ministers and everyone present here today ,before I say anything ,I would like to thank you for granting me this chance .

I have been in this kingdom for just a few days but looking at the time I have spent here , I have got to know the real definition of family and the essence of second chances .

It is basically because of these two reasons that I stand here today fit and sound .

I only have two things to ask from the king on this blessed day .

The first one is what I wish for and the second is my request as a queen of this kingdom that I want to put before him .

I will begin by asking the king for my wish .

** THE VOICE OF THE SUBJECTS **

What is going on right now in her mind ? ,some asked and some whispered into the ears of others as the rest tried to put down their guesses .

I hope she doesn't make the same mistake that Queen Maribel made some years ago ,a woman amongst the subjects gathered at the royal court said to her friend who was standing by her side . *

**KRYSTAL CONTINUES HER POV **

I know that you are all eagerly waiting for what I have to say in order to satisfy your curiosity .

When a prince marries the princess of another kingdom ,he is considered a son in-law of the kingdom and vice versa for the princess .This is because the kingdom he married from ,now becomes an ally to his kingdom .

In the same manner ,when a king wants another wife ,he buys her from her kingdom with treasure by covering it up with marriage .

In this manner ,a princess ,a daughter and a sister paths ways with her kingdom ,her subjects ,her home and her family for her husband's home .

She can raise her sword against her home if war approaches because she is considered an outsider and an enemy during wars but this is not so for a princess who is married to a Prince .

She can go back home when she wishes and when there's war ,she can leave her husband's home and be under the shield of her father .

When a king's newly wedded bride arrives home ,she doesn't consider her husband's home as her home only but also her rivals as family .

Basing my wish on this point ,I would like the king to restore the title ,privileges and rights that every other queen enjoys to Queen Eula and Queen Romina ...*

'Everyone in the royal court gets surprised by her utterance especially Queen Romina and queen Eula who were sitting in the hall as if they were not part of the king's wives or queens of the kingdom .'
