Chapter sixty

"The auspicious time has passed by my king ,so we cannot perform the moon sighting for the princes and their wives but I guarantee you that their married life is blessed .

They will take in the holy water and offer their sacred prayers before we end the ceremony ."

The princes will offer the holy water to their wives for long lives and everlasting love in their marriage ,the priest added .*

'Have it ...'

Wales offered his wife the holy water but as always something had to interrupt that sacred moment ...*

'A maid servant mistakingly bumped into Rhian and the holy water spilled on Krystal who was in a rush to meet Sara .

Because everything happened in a twinkle of an eye ,Krystal moved among the crowd and left the scene quickly to avoid trouble ' .

'Thank God , i was in the crowd when the incident happened and Rhian didn't see me ,otherwise she would have blamed me for taking away her pride ' .

"Once again ,the water spilled on Krystal ,even if she denies it ,it's our destiny to be together ,Wales thought looking at his furious wife who had all his focus on the handmaiden who caused her pride to be at stake " .

'How dare you ? '

She landed two hot slaps across the maid's face .

You have ruined in everything ,my dignity and pride have been ruined because you spilled my holy water away .

"I'm sorry my princess ,please forgive me ...."

'Do you seriously think that your tears and apology will solve everything ,huh ?

Look at me, you useless maid ,you are nothing compared to the holy water you have spilled .

I will teach you such a lesson that you will never forget in your life .

Guards .....'

"Enough Rhian ,Wales held her grip and whispered into her ears just to curb the situation but she wasn't ready to listen so Wales left the hall out of anger feeling disrespected by Rhian " .

"Sara ,have you finally found the chamber ? "

'No Krystal ,we haven't found anything yet but .....'

'But what ,Sara ...'

"Stop queen Romina right now from going into her chamber Krystal ,otherwise Laura and Lydia will get caught because they are in her chamber right now ...."

*Without thinking twice ,Krystal run to Queen Romina and held her feet while on her knees .That was the only thing she could think of at that moment ....*

'My Queen ,please bless me .....'

'What are you saying queen Krystal ?

Please get up from your knees ....'

"No ,I won't till you bless me .You may consider me your rival but I consider you my mother .

And I know that having your blessings will give me a good life especially on this auspicious day .

So until you bless me ,I won't get up and neither will I let go off your feet ."

'Alright then ,I bless you my child .For considering me a mother ,I just hope that all your wishes come to pass .'

"Thank you queen ,this blessings means a lot to me because Dimples will get a feel of it .

I know you know that ,I'm the daughter of your daughter's husband .

We might not have been friends because my father kept me isolated in a tower but your daughter and I seem to share the same fate and that's why ,I asked you to bless me ."

"Krystal ,is it okay if I address you by your name ? "

"I would be so happy to have you address me by that because I will feel as if ,I've got a mother again ".

'You are a gem my child ,you will reach high limits like an eagle .God bless you .

If you need anything ,don't hesitate to come to my chamber ' .

"Thank you very much ...."

*As soon as Queen Romina left ,Lydia and Laura as well as the others came to the ceremonial hall and caught up with Krystal and Sara *

Alexa came to stand close to Krystal pretending as if she was having fresh air from the window but they were communicating like strangers .

"Have you found anything ? "

No Krystal ,we found nothing and thanks for keeping queen Romina busy ,it saved Lydia and I time to arrange her room .*

"Okay ,don't worry guys ,we will get another chance to do this but for now ,it 's good you are all safe ,Alexa said while she stood behind Krystal ".

*Their strategy of communicating was just perfect ,no one suspected their actions and they left no trace behind in their search.

They did a clean job....*

"No ,the more we waste time ,we won't find anything .I will have to do something to help out ....

You should go back to the chamber and relax ,I will be right back "

'Where to ? ,Krystal .....'

"I'm going to finish what we started .Now that everyone seems busy ,i will have to sneak into the underground chamber and see if our lack would appear there .

Don't worry , I will be fine so you should go back to the chamber and wait for me there ..."

*Krystal sneaks into the courtyard of Wales and enters the underground chamber without the guards noticing her even when she took the lamp .

It seemed Wales had taught her really well ...*

"Why is this place really dark ? ,she stretches her lamp forward and once she found no one in the chamber ,she began her search ..."

Are you looking for something ? ,a voice from behind called out lighting the room up " .
