Chapter sixty eight

*AT THE ROYAL COURT *

We have all assembled here today because of the fight between ,Queen Krystal and Princess Rhian .

As the head queen of this kingdom ,I would want to address this issue and that is why respectfully I would like to call Princess Rhian and Queen Krystal to the stand so that they get interrogated .

'Once they rose on their feet ,Queen Romina began the interrogation .'

Princess Rhian ,can you give us a brief part of your story about how all this happened ?

Right my queen .Whatever that happened some few moments ago wasn't my fault .

I punished my handmaiden Grace for her disrespect towards me and queen Krystal stopped me from doing so .

"What did she do to stop you ,Princess Rhian ? "

She ordered my guards to leave the culprit that I had given strict orders to throw into the dungeon alone which is certainly not done .

"So how was your reaction towards the Queen's actions ? "

For intruding into my personal matters ,it was quite certain that I would get angry .

I expressed my disapproval towards her actions ,my Queen .

"You may have your seat now ,my princess " .

Now to you ,Queen Krystal ,tell all of us who are present here what truly happened between you and princess Rhian ,queen Romina said to her .

My Queen ,before I start to speak ,I would want all of you present here to know that ,I don't bear any grudges with the crowned princess .

However ,I didn't intend to argue with her over her handmaiden ,Grace .

Actually ,if you would ask me then I would say that ,whatever that happens in our individual chambers remains personal but what ever that happened moments ago wasn't something personal that the princess wants to picture it .

I rushed out of my chamber because she was really screaming to the extent that it got to the reach of my chamber .

"What did you do after that ,my Queen ? "

I quickly ordered the guards to stop what they were doing .She was been dragged on the floor so I couldn't just watch it and let them continue .

"After that ,what else happened ? "

I asked the guards to go back to their chamber .It was then that they told me that it was Princess Rhian's order to send her into the dungeon .

Sincerely ,after hearing about this ,I still asked them to go .

"Why did you do that ,my queen ?

This means you were directly interfering in the personal issues of Princess Rhian " .

There was nothing like that, my queen .

"Nothing like that ?

Then explain yourself to the hearing of the royal court because we don't get you ."

My Queen ,I have already said that I really couldn't care about what happens in our individual chambers .

However ,this wasn't a private issue my Queen .

From what I saw ,the poor lady was dragged out on the floor screaming on her loudest voice to let her go and as a concerned queen ,I came to her rescue .

Anyone apart from me could have done that because that wasn't anyone's chamber .

What happens outside the chamber is a concern to everyone in the kingdom and the fact that she's a maid doesn't make her exceptional .

If I am mistaking ,then you can all raise your voices at me for my actions .

*Once she uttered her words , the whole royal court became silent ,it gave Krystal the edge to continue her statement ...*

Silence means concern so this means that I have done nothing wrong as the princess wanted to put it .

I helped the maid because I wanted to as a concerned queen and if Princess Rhian wanted to make it personal ,she wouldn't have allowed the maid to scream on top of her voice to the hearing of various surrounding chambers .

In a more civilized manner as a crowned princess ,she would have asked her guards to chain her up and send her into the dungeon .

"This is not fair ,Princess Rhian shouted at Krystal in front of everyone with rage in her eyes ."

'Enough Princess Rhian ,sit down now or I will charge you for contempt ,Queen Romina ordered .'

You may now continue your part of version Queen Krystal .'

My queen ,honestly before you and everyone present here today ,I would want to say that I don't even regret slapping the princess across the face earlier on .

And I also don't regret saying that she's not fit to be the crown princess because her attitude just showed her true nature .

Should I still continue my part of version now ?

"You may have your seat my queen ..."

After listening to both parts of your story ,I'm ready to pass my judgement now as the head queen of this kingdom .

It's true that ,in this kingdom ,no one has the right to interfere especially in the personal matters of others however ,taking a look at this case ,there's was nothing personal in this case .

The fact that the maiden had to scream to the hearing of other chambers states clearly she needed help .

Anyone apart from Queen Krystal could have come to her aid so on that note ,I declare Queen Krystal right and free from all charges .

"But how could you do this ,Queen Romina ?

I just can't believe that ,you just sided with the queen for what she did .

This is bias against me .

Tell me, how much did you receive for this ?

Or did you rule in her favour because she is the main reason why you are the head queen ? "

'Rhian ...'

He called and quickly rose up with so much furiousness burning in his body .

*And to everyone's surprise ,Wales had landed a slap across her face for such disrespect .*

"Son ..."

Queen Marga interrupted and tried to stop Wales from landing a second slap on her face . "

It's enough now ,we can speak about this privately ,she added .'

No Mama ,nothing will be spoken about privately until she apologises to Queen Romina .

She can't go about disrespecting everyone she sees because she's the crowned princess .

She has to learn how to give respect to everyone especially her elders .

Such disrespect cannot fit into the position of the crowned princess so it's either she apologizes now or I will strip her off all her titles in this kingdom as the crowned prince .

*This didn't seem to please princess Rhian at all but she had to do it because been stripped off of your rights in the kingdom was the most embarrassing thing a royal could go through. *

'Son ...'

Queen Marga tried to intervene but she was cut short by her son who had already made up his mind .'

At this instance ,I'm no more your son instead I'm now the crowned Prince of Mugal kingdom who is speaking to you now .

As far as the king and the crowned Queen isn't here ,I'm in charge .

My orders are final and they shouldn't be disobeyed and that's why ,I would ask you , Queen Marga to have your seat and let me dispense my duties as expected .

If you have any suggestion then you would do it when I ask you to do so .

"Alright my prince ...without a word ,Queen Marga quickly moved to her seat " .

*The rage in his eyes pushed Rhian to fall on her knees ....*

"I'm sorry ,with both hands together and tears filled in her eyes dropping down her cheeks from her long eye lashes ,she apologized " .

'It's okay .....'

Queen Romina accepted her apologises and asked her to stand up from the floor .

*The embarrassment was so strong that ,after apologizing ,she quickly run from the royal court wiping her tears with the back of her hands .

Once she got into her chamber ,she locked the door behind her and sat behind it soaked in tears .*

Father ,I need to write a letter to my father .He needs to know that I'm not happy in this marriage and that I 'm been maltreated here .

There's nothing important to him than the welfare of his daughter .

"Rhian quickly wrote a letter and gave it to the chief messenger to send it to her father in Champa " .

No one should see you send this letter to my father ,she cautioned giving the messenger gold coins.

Let's see how I turn everything into my favour .You will all regret treating me like trash today .

Especially Wales and you too ,Krystal .Once my dad arrives in Mugal ,he will make your life miserable .

Just wait for my wrath .....

Son ,son ,please listen to me .

'Queen Marga chased her son through the corridors to get his attention but it really seemed as if he was truly angry this time .'

"Mama ,please leave me alone .I don't want to argue with you so just as you always do it ,go to your daughter in-law and clean her tears but just leave me alone ."

'But son ....'

Mama please ,leave me alone ,he shouted this time around .

"Entering his chamber ,he ordered his guards to close the door leaving his mum stuck behind the door " .
