Chapter Eighty Five

'Once the Royal herbalist left ,Krystal jumped out of bed and calmly said like a baby ...'I'm starving ...I need food ..'

Lydia didn't hesitate to serve her the pakora that Queen Marga sent for her .

It was really attractive and the aroma from the veggie meat and deep - fried batter fishes from flavoured spices were mouth watery .

Krystal calmly patted her stomach as she growled . She was in a hurry to taste her mother in-law 's delicacy for the first time ,hehe .

'This is tantalizing .....'

She said after having a few spoons and fed the rest to her friends .

She never ate without them and Krystal was sure that Queen Marga prepared the food with all her love .

Other than that ,she wouldn't have tasted it ,let alone ,feed her friends too .

'Yesterday ,everyone was in a panorama ...(ahem) ! ....

Lydia cleared her throat amidst stuffing food in her mouth . Her wine- pinkish hair along with her face turned red with tears in her eyes as she was choked .'

Calm down ,Sara patted her back as Laura handed her a glass of water .

You have stuffed too much pakora into your mouth so how can you talk ? ,Sara questioned stuffing food into her mouth too .

Look who is complaining ,Laura interrupted with a tease .

Laura never ate much like Lydia and Sara did .They could finish two bowls of food at a goal as she would take time to finish a bowl and Krystal would finish a half bowl .

'Lau ....Laura ...'

Coughs !

It seems like Lydia hadn't learnt any lesson yet from being choked by the pakora a while ago.

She still wanted to talk and also give Laura a reply .

She sat down calmly releasing her wine - pinkish hair to fall over her face with her head bowed .

'Unbelievable ,Sara added passing her hands through her dull brownish cut hair .

She cut her hair some time ago with her illusions of looking more younger .

Even though she was the eldest amongst them who was in her twenties ,she still wanted to look like a teen again which Laura thought was quiet absurd .'

I"m amazed by your acting skills ,Laura broke the silence .

You did great yesterday ....she smiled and recalled ...

"My Queen ,Laura tapped her cheeks as she fell unconscious .

She was rushed to her chamber ....

My Queen ,my Queen ....Laura along with Sara and Lydia called but to no avail .

Once the King left after the Royal herbalist treated her wounds ,there was an eerie sound in the room.

Hehe...hehe ....hehe... hehe... hehe ,Krystal teased and quickly jumped off her bed .

Taking a bite of an apple from her fruit basket ,she sat comfortably on her bed with one arm to her chest and another with the apple in her hands .

Are you seeing what I 'm seeing ? ,Laura asked Lydia and Sara who looked stunned by Krystal's behavior .

Few moments ago ,she fell unconscious and now she's back on her feet carefree as if nothing had happened .

Oh my God Laura ,pinch me and tell me that Krystal is still unconscious ,Lydia sarcastically said .

Throwing the apple back into the fruit basket ,she walked towards them with her hands folded to her chest.

Did you seriously think that I meant what I said at the ceremonial hall ?

The fact is that I never regretted what I did to Rhian and her family .

Another fact was that ,making myself the victim by staging a drama just ended this whole apologising thing .

I will never allow anyone to torture me again .We are at the middle of a battle and we can't lose our grip .

In two days time ,we will leave from here so I need to feel secured by being the victim ,Krystal said in a smile .

'Oh my God ,Lydia exclaimed taking a bite of Krystal's apple and passing it to Sara .

She also took a bite and Laura finished it .This relationship that they shared always made them a family .

However ,it was an advantage to them being Krystal's handmaidens because ,she treated them like family .

They slept in her bedroom instead of the maiden's chamber and ate royal food instead of the normal rough maiden food .

Their dresses were descent instead of the rags which other maidens wore and they felt secured by her presence .

These are rights other Queens and Princesses wouldn't give to their maidens .

As a matter of fact ,many maidens wished they served in Krystal's chamber too . '

Enough of yesterday ,I need to dress and move to the royal court without hesitation ,Krystal said and headed straight into the bathroom .

'Her bathed was already prepared as Laura ,Sara and Lydia also jumped into the pool of water to take a bath .'

Hehe ...hehe...hehe...

Like little children ,they laughed and giggled as they splashed the water on each other .

It was a total feeling of childhood for them as they splashed the water on themselves happily .

**ROYAL COURT **

Once everyone took their seats ,Krystal magnificently walked into the court while her maidens assisted her with her dress .

Taking her seat as well ,she didn't bother looking at Wales because she didn't want to become weak .

If eyes could kill then Krystal would have died looking at Wales' eyes all the time .

On the other round ,Wales starred eagerly at her and he couldn't deny the fact that her beauty was alluring .

She looked like sunshine sparkles as she curved her lips into a smile .

If Wales could turn invisible ,he wouldn't have hesitated to run and hug her with kisses as he had missed her being around him .

'I wish to come back as an invisible being in my next life ,he muttered ...'

It's been a while since I left this kingdom and when I returned ,I 've had to deal with quite a lot of issues , however ,there is a good news which is the main reason why I have called you all here ,King Duxan spoke .

But before I announce the good news ,I would like to inform you all that henceforth ,Queen Krystal would be adorned with much respect and anyone who tries to harm or disobey her orders will be severely punished .

Her title as my special Queen still holds and so it's a necessity to adorn her with respect .

'Krystal didn't care about the title anyway but deep within her ,she seriously wanted to punish King Zarus for misbehaving with her ...'
