Chapter Eighty Nine

'No dad ....no dad ,let's go ..Rhian said in a loud voice drawing away from her father .'

Rhian ,there's no need to fool yourself anymore for a Kingdom that doesn't need you .

And besides ,you were never meant to be in this Kingdom .

We allowed you to get married into this Kingdom because you said you will be happy but then ,everything is quite the opposite .

My dear ,there's no need to be here anymore because nobody knows what will happen tomorrow .Cautiously ,Queen Rahima tried to convince her daughter with her sweet words .

'No mum ,there's nothing as such and besides whichever way I got married into this Kingdom is in the past so please don't try to bring it back to the present .

Please let sleeping dogs lie if possible and save me from my terrible past ,Rhian uttered and moved to her dad in tears and in no minute ,she was down at his feet .

Dad please ,if you ever loved me once then please put your ego aside and save my marriage ,she cried out to her father in silence .

Her father who stood emotionless before had become calm as he felt as if his heart were been broken into pieces by million shards of glasses just at the glance of his daughter's tears .'

Stand up my dear , because there's no need to cry for those who aren't meant for you .

Rohan ,tell the army to get ready ,we are going back to Champa this very instant .

He exited the court in anger after uttering this and Rhian who had so much hope got her heart broken .

'Dad no ....no dad ,you can't do this to me ....'She cried out bitterly as she fell to her knees in the royal court .

'It's finished ...she covered her face up in tears .

I guess you are really not satisfied with the results you had at the Royal Court today or am I just making something up ?

'What are you doing here ?

Krystal asked the man who stood tall and built up in disguise . His dimples were exposed as he gave a sigh and drew closer to her .

She wondered what nerves a guard had , to badge into her room and question her , so she kept her hands closer to the sword that Wales gifted her .

'Stay away ....she cautioned fearlessly but the man kept drawing close to her until he finally took steps aback when the sword was held as his neck .

I don't care if you die but then you have made the mistake of badging into my room .

Look Mr .Man ,I am no weak person for you to play along with so it's either you leave my chamber or I will shred you into pieces and feed your body to scavengers .'

Would you really do that ? ...he asked with an annoying and teasing tone which triggered Krystal's anger .

Holding her by the waist ,Krystal felt this unique aura that Wales was the only one who possessed .

'But it can't be Wales ,he's gone to the throne room to discuss issues with his dad and besides ,he's getting married so soon to his second wife so he must be busy .

What joy it is for a Prince to marry his second wife ,Krystal sarcastically thought as the man had pulled her into him the more .

If it isn't my husband then why is my heart beating so fast ?

Anyways ,in a few days time ,I will have to share him with another woman ,for the second time she thought .

Lifting up her head ,the man had still held her and this time tightly to the extent that he didn't want to let go .

'Get of me ,she shouted and pushed him with all her might till he took steps aback .

Without a second thought ,Krystal stroke her sword at him but was instantly blocked by his dagger.

She continued striking till he pulled out a sword for himself and fought back .

Messing the whole room up ,Krystal angrily hit the curtains connected to the chandeliers .

'Watch out Krys ,he said and pulled her onto the bed as the chandeliers were about falling .'

"Crush ...!

'Are you okay ? ,he asked patting his hands behind her back as Krystal buried her head into his chest .

There was this aura that made her feel safe and so she continued to lean into him until it dropped into her thoughts that ,the stranger who suddenly appeared in her room was not her Wales .'

'Get off me ,how dare you ?

" Slap ....!

Angrily , she pulled off his face cover and was surprised by what she saw .

'Phew ,that took a long time to figure out ,she said and quickly tried jumping off the bed but he pulled her closer to him this time around and without hesitating ,melted a warm kiss on her lips .

'Babe ,that slap was really a hard blow there ; my cheeks hurt ,he held on to his cheeks in a loving agony .'

Why didn't you tell me it was you ?

Why did you put me through all this trouble of fighting you ?

Why did you totally disguise yourself from my sight ,huh ?

W....why did ..."

"Shhhh ....he said and placed his index finger on her lips .

She was filled with so much emotions that Wales didn't hesitate giving her a warm embrace .

As her tears drip past her soft cheeks ,unbidden tears welled up in Wales' eyes as well .He couldn't bear seeing her sad and down hearted but then ,he knew it was because of him that she was in that condition .

Even though Krystal didn't talk much about her emotions ,Wales could read it all from her charming almond eyes which were teary .

His father was getting him married to a second wife without his knowledge and he didn't have time for his wife even though he promised her to spend a lot of time with her .

Thinking about all this ,he couldn't help but to cover up Krys in his arms as though she wasn't close enough .

They both needed this moment together and that's why ,Laura ,Sara and Lydia arranged for them to meet .
