Chapter one

When she saw life fading out of him in her own eyes ,it was then ,she realized that he had fallen hard to the ground , and covered up in a pool of blood ,he pulled out his hands from hers .

"Wales ,please don't leave me alone ,you promised we 'd build a family together ,please don't leave me ,she cried out bitterly that her almond eyes almost popped out . "

"Wales ...Wales ,the voice echoed "

Wales ...she suddenly woke up panting and her whole body was shivering and covered up in sweats .

Wales ...she squeezed her head into her legs which were positioned right before her forehead and poured out her emotions .

'Bang ..'

A lady rushed in quickly with a child following behind her swiftly .

When she saw her lie on the bed with her eyes opened ,she broke down into tears and sat by her side.

"Krystal ,she called out in a joyful voice .You finally woke up after such a long time ,she said with her narrow soft voice and cuddled her in her embrace .

It's been a year ,she tugged her messy hair behind her ears .

It's been a year Krystal ...a year ,she couldn't hold back her tears of joy .

She wiped off her tears with the back of her hand and pulled the little girl to sit on the bed by her .

She waited for her mother for a year ,there was no day she didn't ask .." Aunty ,when will mommy wake up ,I miss her " .

There was no day Krystal ..no day ,she said still wiping off her unbidden tears .

"Mommy ,the little girl said and settled by Krystal's side giving her a kiss on her forehead .

I missed you mommy ,she said in her tiny voice .

I missed you too my baby ...Krystal embraced her daughter in a tight hug and gave her a long lasting kiss on her forehead .

The last time she saw her ,she was so small but now ,she had become so big and matured .

"Mommy ,I knew you would wake up just like sleeping beauty did .She was filled with so much emotions that her bushy yet properly trimmed eyebrows were all raised .

Her hair was plaited in two braids and her chubby pink cheeks were so plump and soft .

'Mommy missed you too Carla ,Krystal pulled her into a deep embrace .

She really did miss her little Carla ,the one who gave her a hope to keep on living life ."

Thank you Rhian ,Krystal said as she sat by her side .

Her snub nose and red painted lips were curved into a smile at the corners of her lips .

" It's my pleasure Krystal . Besides it's the least I could do for Wales .

Hmm ! ,Rhian sighed as Krystal's eyes became teary .

Had Wales been here today ,he would have been the most luckiest person on earth to know how strong his love is ,Rhian added .

Hmph ! ,Krystal tried holding back her tears but they began to flow .

These memories kept her heart aching ,one major reason she went to coma .

"Mommy ,are you crying ?

Little Carla asked in her soft voice even though she knew her mommy was crying .

" No my Angel ,your mommy isn't crying .Mommy is just excited that you are the best gift in her life ,she said these to make her feel comfortable but deep down ,she was fading out slowly ."

Mommy ,I'm here with you .We will punish all those bad bad persons that took daddy away .Look at my sword ,aunty Rhian made it for me ,we will use it to punish all of them ,she said showing her mother a wooden carved sword .

Even though she was just a three year old girl ,she was intelligent and that made Krystal love her the more.

Her appearance brought light into Krystal's life .

"Sniffs ..."

It 's really nice my dear ,so did you thank your aunty for the sword ? ,she asked wiping her tears off with the back of her hand .

"Yes mommy ,aunty Rhian and I are superheroines ,she continuously jumped on the bed .

She was filled with so much light and innocence that Krystal swore to protect her daughter with her life ."

Thanks a lot Rhian ,she pulled out her hands for hers as they smiled at each other .

Ha ! , it's so ridiculous Krystal ,who ever thought that we could be this cool but look at us now ,we are more unless like sisters from ages ,Rhian added in her smiles .

It had to take a lot of sacrifices .....

*FLASHBACK *

What do you want Wales ? ,she presented herself to look pleasurable in his sight .They both looked into each other's gazes and without wasting anytime ,Wales pulled Rhian into his embrace with teary eyes .

"What is it Wales ? ,Rhian asked .Wasn't he supposed to be happy with his second marriage ?

Rhian ,he broke the silence in his deep ,yet broken voice .

" Oh my God ,how can this man be ridiculously handsome even in his down mood ? ,she thought been flattered by his looks .

Has he thought of reconciling with me now or what ?

In less than a minute ,Rhian pictured a million things stuffed with ideas about Wale's reaction .

She just hoped Wales will tell her something about their relationship ."

These thoughts brought smiles on her face but they turned to shock in surprise when she heard "I want you to go to Champa forever and never look back ."

What !

She exclaimed but muttered it and wondered if it was a dream or she heard what she heard for real .

Arghh ! , I know you are shocked right now Rhian but it's in your own interest to go back home and earn the right of being treated like a princess for who you are ,Wales added in concern .

You will achieve nothing by my side if you still stay in Mugal ,he said in a cold expression yet ,his words seemed cautiously chosen .

Rhian ,he held her shoulders and said "go back home tonight or else your night will be miserable without me by your side in this kingdom .
