Chapter 19: PETTY FOOL

"But I felt it, I felt it, and it felt real!

Listen to me, what if this is His will?

Haven't you read about the old times, the bible?

Listen and follow, or our lives will worsen and shamble!"

"Will you shut up?" Said a fourthirish lady,

"If God is real, do you think we'll be stuck here, deary?"

"God is real, we doomed ourselves, you know,

God cannot be mocked, what men reaps, is what he sow."

They laughed in unison, telling me all sorts of names,

"Ken the lunatic, Ken the insane,"

Even though unsure, if it was just a product of my imagination,

I kept warning, convincing, with all my heart and dedication.

But their hearts are stones, and their ears are deaf,

Their pride and arrogance, is what they kept,

Even Mar looked at me, rather very differently,

The pity in her eyes are gone,

And try as I may, those who believed me..? none.

I didn't eat, all I did is persuade them,

But who knew? All this stubborness of men?

They made me look like a crackhead,

Told me to get my meds.

That night my heart grew wilder,

As my mind starts to wander,

And before I knew it I felt myself lifting again,

Towards the darkness, as a new dream began...
