Chapter 84: AN ANGEL FOR A SPY

Jegudiel was filled with anger and regret,

Recalling how the last battle went.

While Uriel feels a weakening feeling in his chest,

As Barachiel simply don't know how they'd get out of this mess.

"Michael was captured, how could this be?

How can we then, set our other brothers free?"

"He surrendered, just to keep us safe,

He handed them, his very own fate,"

Selaphiel reminded, then simply sat down,

As if planning, what they'd act, when and how.

"You're the brains here, so please think of something soon!"

Jegudiel yelled, still bitter how the demons won.

Raphael only sighed, as he too, assess the situation,

While Gabriel decided, "Let the reapers help, in killing the demons,"

"Gabriel, they could barely collect souls,

If they help, more lost souls would wander the earth,

Let's not jump to rash conclusions,

Besides, the reapers' number are already hurt,"

Selaphiel reasoned, as Gabriel thought again,

"But if we don't act now...then when?

Michael will not be spared, he might be killed soon enough,"

"Uriel, calm your heart, we must be careful, to avoid such traps."

"We need to ask for help, we need to get a spy inside,"

"But Barachiel, we barely have enough angels on our side,"

"Selaphiel, we have no choice. It's now, or never to decide,"

The remaining archangels thought of it carefully,

Although still hurt of the angels that died in protecting humanity.

"We can't ask for more angels, or the heaven will collapse,

They need protectors up there, or else we'd be vulnerable to war.

Evil quickly spread the earth like disease,

Goodness is fading, so we need to be carefull not to miss,

We need someone that can easily capture their trust,"

"Selaphiel, how about we target...the angel's lust?"

...

Asmodeus quickly hurried out,

As other demons followed a certain route,

It's an angel's trumpet for hell's own sake,

So it's no surprise, that every demon decided to wake.

They hurried and went outside,

Saw only a few angels, how Lucifer laughed with pride,

Seeing how greatly the demons outnumber them,

The angels fell back, they were truly mistaken.

The demons went back to their daily lives,

Not knowing that amongst them, a spy had successfully hide.

They were supposedly twenty spies to be scattered,

But most of them died, and only one escaped danger.

The angel Callista, a woman of wit and beauty,

Decided to risk it all, for the sake of humanity.

She was the only female angel, left of Michael's legion,

And wanting to do more for his chief, she decided to offer her biggest contribution,

To woe a Prince of hell, and get what she was tasked,

She needs to be careful though, not to be caught and unmasked.

She transformed into a white rat that simply crept when the prisoners were sleeping,

She waited and transformed, barely waiting for morning.

The crowd were at awe, but she convinced them not to reveal anything,

And because of her beauty, all the people agreed to everything.

To avoid being killed like those before her,

She decided to mingle, with the prisoners and the younger,

Putting her emotions aside, she prayed for patience,

That Lluming clearly lacked, the time he lost Eleazar's presence.

She was charming, polite and a candy to the sight,

That she managed to befriend everyone in one night,

It wasn't long till some men fought over her,

Causing a scene, she hoped could be prevented sooner.

While Leviathan was tasked to yet again pick something for Beelzebub,

His sight was quickly charmed by the woman he hoped he have,

Long curly black hair, and yellow piercing eyes,

She looks so divine, reminding him of pleasant nights.

He felt mesmerized, and yet wondering how a beauty like her be here,

So he quickly asked the other demons, to release the woman free,

Although he have other women, Leviathan wanted her tonight,

Sure that her beauty, was even enough to trample Lucifer's wives.

Callista was happy that Leviathan picked her sooner than she thought,

Although still careful, so her intentions wouldn't be caught.

She acted afraid, frail, the exact expressions they would expect of her,

Making Leviathan, feel much fonder.

It proves that beauty had always been a great advantage for anyone,

As most people look, for things that could be seen, than what's beyond.

The moment they were alone, Callista couldn't help but feel different,

Missing the heavens, the angels, to see them broken, she could hardly take it.

She took time to entertain the demon, and think hard about her next move,

Yet for now, she needs to behave, like all good girls should.

...

Asmodeus came back quite annoyed,

"Leviathan got a hot girl!"

"Didn't you have more?"

Asmodeus ignored Lluming,

And sat down on the floor.

He soon realized that he haven't slept with anyone lately,

And his frustrations was catching up to him quickly,

Sellena noticed it, and told him to do what he pleases,

But the demon refused, not taking his chances.

Lluming know that the demon could barely contain himself,

So he only sighs, as he hope it works out well.

"Asmodeus, you better make sure you won't hurt her,

Or I will not stop myself, from hurting you no longer,"

The demon didn't bother listening,

As he hopped on the bed, his heart still racing,

"Leviathan is having the time of his life!"

As Lluming threw a pillow to his face,

"Don't do that! Though she's your wife!"

...

Morning came and Stacy awoke,

Smelling cinders, and a bit of smoke,

A demon was in front, that simply gave them a small portion of food,

When the demon left, they all fought, and acted rude.

The strong takes, as the slow starve,

Seeing a child cry, Stacy gave off of what she have.

Jacob sighed, and told some people to move aside,

Giving the woman who barely notice him, some food on her side.

The shocked Stacy looked at him, softly,

"You noticed me, ah, finally,

I can't blame you though, maybe you're still thinking of some...things that happened before,

But don't starve yourself okay? You gotta eat some more,"

Stacy smiles, as she takes up the piece of bread,

"Thank you...I really thought you're also dead,"

"Wow...thanks, you seriously didn't see me?"

"I...I'm sorry, I didn't, unfortunately,"

Jacob sighed and sat down beside her,

"You need to take care of yourself, or you'd die faster,"

"Ah, suddenly, you're like my little brother,"

"I am not your brother! I just don't want to see get better,"

Stacy feels warm, and thanks him again,

Although she doesn't notice him as main,

Jacob knows this, and was only just glad,

She could still keep living, despite losing almost all she had.

Soon, Stacy realized she haven't conversed with Jacob quite a lot,

So she then considered this time might be the start,

She gently tapped his shoulder to get his attention,

Making him feel worried, not understanding what's the situation.

Greeted by her smile, he calms down,

As he then asked, "What now?"

"Can you tell me about yourself?"

"Whoah, why would you ask me something like that out of the blue,"

"Well for starters, I don't actually know you,"

Jacob gulped, and composed himself,

"Alright, I'll tell you but...brace yourself.."
