Chapter 160: TRIGGER

(Flashback)

Dariel, a man with long sweeping hair-

The color of blood and eyes of emeralds,

Walked towards Lucifer's side, bloody and tired.

Lucifer felt joyful of his victory,

Seeing that the Red Fury was truly dead,

Dariel dragged the lifeless body,

As Nishan, already weakened, begged.

"Don't disrespect our mother like that!"

"Shut up, I'll do what I want."

Lucifer was about to shake hands with Dariel,

When the man smiled at him, his intention he couldn't tell.

The time they shook hands,

A seal mark appeared on his clothes,

Travelling to his body,

He was utterly shocked.

Nishan smiles at the success of their plan,

Dariel touched the ground, spreading his chant,

Nishan fought the others, as Dariel kept his spells,

Chanting a strong seal, that could only break after ages to tell.

When Lucifer was fully chained, and the other main demons just the same,

Nishan held his brother's hand,

Chanting a final spell, to cast them all to hell at once.

Their mother may have died,

And their father left once again,

But the two brothers promised to keep the world safe,

Even if their own happiness is at stake.

The two decided to live simply,

Both struggled, but had happy families.

But yet again, their souls were interrupted,

Forced to live within the abilities,

Passed to generations, though peace is what they wanted.

It was the only way to keep the ability in good hands,

To make sure it was owned, trapped, to a family of one kind.

Uriel was aware of the prophecy since the two sons were born,

And pitied them very much, wondering when the curse would be lifted once more.

And appointing two innocent souls to be the next heroes,

Have given him guilt and eternal sorrow,

But in his last moments, he hoped and prayed,

With the two people given that chance,

He hoped the world...be saved.

...

(Balcony)

Dariel whispered unto Sellena's thoughts,

To quickly turn around, or danger will be brought,

Sellena opens her eyes, and turned around,

Only to see Leviathan, obviously in a frown.

"Leviathan!" Sellena said outloud,

As Leviathan felt angry, "Who are you to not address me as master when I'm around?"

But Sellena than fear, felt anger,

Leviathan truly reminded her of Lucifer.

She wondered why he was there,

Why the voice whispered of danger so well.

Feeling cautious and unnerved,

She decided to go away, and leave for good.

"Where are you going?"

Leviathan snatched her hand,

And try as may, his grip was tight,

No matter how hard she's pulling.

"Don't play dumb with me,

You're still thinking of escaping,

Aren't you, dear?"

Sellena felt surprised,

But saying she really is, is unwise,

Even though she's truly finding ways to go away from this hell of a place,

She shook her head, "I'm not that stupid to still resist and escape."

"Oh, are you?

Because I still don't trust you.

After all, I don't want you to stand alongside us,

They're all dumb."

(Because I know that keeping you alive will be the death of us.)

"I do not intend to cause harm to anyone,

Please, I beg you, release me at once,"

Leviathan walked forward and forward,

Until she could feel the cold shivers on her back,

She was on the edge, and even an ignorant person could tell,

This demon, wanted her dead.

Leviathan wanted her out,

Envying that his rival for attention, had love now found,

Wanting him miserable, dysfunctional and useless,

He wanted to kill his beloved, to prove to Lucifer and Satan to dispose such lovesick mess.

Leviathan wrapped a piece of cloth to cover her mouth,

As he kept strangling her, so to tie her hands with ease,

Sellena in no time,

Felt very weak,

Her vision blurring,

As Leviathan speaks.

"How can someone like you deserve this lavish fate?

Something I've strived to have, all this years, everytime I wake.

Life is truly...ridiculously unfair,

You're truly a lucky one, but not today."

And so...he pushed her.

Eyes showing no guilt whatsoever.

He cannot stand that he gained little to none after all these years,

He cannot stand the fact, he's still mostly ignored, unloved, cannot do as he pleased.

He felt nothing before, but now he could say he's satisfied seeing her fall.

Good thing no demon was near to witness at all.

He had his water dragons guard every side of this area,

To cover up for the death, of Asmo's darling Sellena.

.

.

.

Sellena quickly woke up when she heard a voice screaming her name,

And when she saw the ground, oh how much she paled.

She prayed to God for some sort of aid,

And when she did, how her hands felt warm, as a flattened circular slate appeared.

It broke entirely because of the impact,

And because it was late when it manifested,

But she was alive, breathing, safe, although she had hurt her back,

As she felt herself losing conciousness,

Until she heard the voice once again called.

She coughed, and she called for Haborym,

As blood from her mouth, kept oozing.

Haborym felt a tight feeling in his chest,

Until he realized, what it meant.

He quickly rushed to the destination the butterfly led him to, as an unconcious Sellena he have found,

How much his chest burned knowing what Asmodeus could do.

But he found something more, beside her she wrote in soil, Leviathan caused her to fall.

Knowing that he cannot tell the bold plan to just anyone,

He decided to tell Asmodeus, as he takes Sellena secretly to his room.

155 felt deeply annoyed that the lady was there,

But Haborym told her, that Sellena was almost dead.

"Show a bit of kindness, since she's our Master's wife,

I cannot take her just anywhere, she was lucky to be alive,"

"And? You expect me to nurse her whenever you're away?

Are you crazy? Because there's no way-"

"I'll do anything, just do this for Lord Asmo's sake,"

Haborym said in a begging voice, as 155 sighs and reconsiders after a few wait.

"Yeah, fine. But better be sure to your words,

I'd take care of her. Count on me."

"And I'll do what I'm told."

Haborym says in gratitude,

As 155 looks around, unused,

"Look, I'm not doing this for you,

I'm doing this for myself,

Just in case you think I'm soft for you."

"Ah, no worries. I don't think you're that type anyways,

I'm just glad, this offer you accepted.

Lord Asmodeus does not deserve such treachery,

And Lord Leviathan must have done this again because of envy."

"Yeah, sure, sure, I don't care about why or who did this,

I'm just wondering of how long she'd stay like this.

I mean, can she live in a place so dull and lifeless?"

"Excuse me?" "No, I mean, it makes sense,

She's used to living comfortably, right?"

"Well, she doesn't have must choice, she'll stay here until she's fine.

I'll inform sir Asmodeus, and then the other demons,

They'll keep this a secret from Sir Leviathan, for reasons that're obvious."

"So...why can't they kick or kill Leviathan?"

"He's one of the first who followed Lucifer's command,

Though not as implied, Lord Lucifer cares for him deeply,

Even letting his failures slide, to honor his loyalty."

"Yeesh...that's...messed up,

So that guy can just do whatever he wants?"

"Well, as long as he's not harming Lucifer and Satan,

But...that won't assure him that Lord Asmodeus won't bite back.

Let's just let the Masters handle this on their own,

Even if this be to death, who knows."

"Well, Lord Leviathan sure is dumb for doing such thing,

But how is Sellena alive? That fall should be impossible to survive, unless you're flying,"

"I don't know, and I'm not sure too,

But...I noticed her hands were also burned.

I have a lot of mysteries to solve,

But for now, protect her, as much as you could."
