Chapter 20

Morning came by quickly as I slowly open my eyes. Taking a bit long, no thanks to the sun beaming down on my face from the nearby window. I slowly sit up in the bed, taking a look at my surroundings as I see Lucas packing up his bags, I remembered that the trip was today. If the book that Lucas gave me didn't talk much about my kind, what information would they have at the museum?

I made a slight cough to get Lucas's attention, he jumps not expecting me to be up this early, he looks over at me smiling with his eyes currently closed. Something was wrong though when he opened up his eyes he jumped once more. Was something on my face? Did I drool in my sleep? Lucas shakes his head as he comes up and sits on the bed facing me.

He pointed to his face and then mine, He grabbed my hand and brought me to the bathroom to check it out. I was shocked, I opened my mouth to speak but no words had come out, tears started to come out of my eyes. Teeth were starting to form on the side of my mouth, Lucas left the bathroom to get his book. He tried to find out about this but to no luck, there was no information on this.

He also looked through his medical book to see if there was any disease of teeth growing outside of the mouth, but nothing was found. The closest thing was more teeth growing on the inside of the mouth. I slowly slid my back along the wall as I sit down on the bathroom floor, I was balling my eyes out. Not only was this animal already a part of me, but now it's starting to change my body.

Lucas comes back into the bathroom as he sits right next to me, he starts to rub my back in a slow circular motion, it felt nice as I started to breathe calmly. I leaned my head against his shoulder, him doing the same. I never really had feelings for Lucas, I was never even sure what that was. He was the only person who had stayed by my side, so if I did have feelings for someone it would be him.

"Hey, don't worry about it. Nothing will change, all you need to do is wear a mask to cover it up. I can have my mom or a nearby friend make you a permanent one for whenever you go out." Lucas softly speaks to me, I don't know what I did to deserve a friend like him, but I am eternally grateful.

Both Lucas and I get up and finish getting ready for the trip, Lucas decided for me to wear blacked-out glasses as well just in case my eye had turned yellow again, he didn't want me to lose control again. The both of us go downstairs and get some breakfast before the trip, also getting food for the trip as well.

Not too long after we arrive at the school doors, Lucas looks over in my direction to see if I was ready to go back to the school, I let out a sigh and slowly shake my head, signaling him to open the door.

As the both of us entered, I could immediately hear everyone's gossip. Glad to know I was dearly missed I say to myself as I roll my eyes. But I also noticed that some of the girls were even terrified, I guess they still haven't recovered from the last incident with me a couple of weeks ago.

I was concerned about the situation, usually, when an outbreak happened with me, people would just brush it off as it had never happened, But what is making them scared now?

We arrived at the cafeteria where everyone was meeting up before going onto the trip, teachers giving me glares questioning why I was even at the school anymore. I hugged into Lucas's side as he put his arm around me, he looks down and gives me a warm smile.

We sat down at one of the tables but I felt uneasy, my vision was getting blurry. I never needed glasses in my life so it wasn't that. All of a sudden I see an orange wolf in my vision. It couldn't be him, the king of the world, why am I getting visions of him. Lucas notices my dazed expressions as he waves his hand in front of me.

He gains my attention but I can't help of think about what I had just witnessed. I told Lucas about my vision and what I had witnessed, he was worried but he couldn't do anything about it. It wasn't a bad vision so it was true that he wouldn't be able to do anything to help with my situation.

We didn't have to wait much longer as everyone was loaded onto the buses. The journey to the museum seemed long, but I and Lucas made the conversation so that the trip wasn't in silence. I thanked him for it since he knew I was always uncomfortable in utter silence.

I could hear girls gossiping about all of the other guys that were in her class, some even tried to lay hands on Lucas but he just brushed it off and laughed, but what he said confused me, he told them that he liked someone for a long time and was waiting for the perfect moment to confess to them. I mean Lucas did have other friends that I never saw, he was probably talking about them.

The trip to the museum didn't take much longer as we had arrived, I attempted to get out but I was pushed to the ground and trampled on, my other entity was furious, but not at me.

"I need to talk to you after this, I will project my voice so your friend may hear as well."

My entity has spoken to me, i got up off of the ground and told Lucas about what my other entity had told me as he nodded.

We both enter the museum as I look around, the place was big. There was a lot of history beyond these walls and I was a bit nervous, but I was very excited about finally unraveling the truth about my past.

There was a tall man who was showing me and the class around the museum, but at a certain point, we stopped by a hall about the half-animal past.

The class and I learned about the war that took place years ago, he turned us around as I see the statue of Okami himself. The Orange Wolf, I could hear my other entity whisper to me.

The man explains that the language they use to write their thoughts in and all of the information of their past is in Arabic, a language no people has taken the time to learn.

I look at the Arabic language that was written below as I softly whisper to my other entity what it has said, she went silent for a bit as if my other entity had to think about it. It wasn't long though before she did speak.

"The king of all half-animals, Who had a child to help him revive this world, her name was destined to be Junsuina chi, meaning Pure Blood."

I was shocked, The child's name was identified, and if I'm the child then that means the symbiote who had taken my body to be a host, is Junsuina chi herself. The true heiress of the king, which would make her the Queen and second strongest living thing on this planet.

I must've made a sound as the entire class had their attention on me, even the guy that was giving the History lesson, he had a smile on his face like he had just discovered something.

"Do you have something you want to add, don't hesitate if you know something that I do not." the man spoke to me, other girls were giggling as they found the situation hilarious. I gave a shy shake of my head, I did not want to just upright tell the entire class that I may be the inheritance of this king it's not like they would believe me anyway.

I went to the back of the ground as I pulled out my phone and texted Lucas, I had told him what my entity had told me about the statue we just saw. He sends me a thumbs up and says that we will confirm everything when we can talk to Junsuina Chi herself.

While going through the rest of the History behind the Half animals, I discovered something quite shocking.

Half animals never leave their traces behind, any pawprints, or any other evidence. The only way a person can identify a person who is secretly a half-animal is through their scent trail. Animals give out different scents depending on what situation they are in, but it doesn't change a whole lot, the scents can be calming, stressful, demanding, and loving. My eyes shoot open as something clicked on me.

I was bullied not because of what I was interested in, I was bullied because they could smell the Half Animal scent radiating off of my body.
