(Pt.1) Ch.4: “Two less Lonely People in the World”

camil: why does this have to happen today. What was HE doing in the hallway huh. Ugh why did we have to move here. Why am I even crying...?

Girl 1#: Isn't that the new girl?

Girl 2#: hey... um r u okay?

Camil: yea ...why?

Girl2 2#: it's just you're in a bathroom. Crying. Talking to yourself...

Camil: ".... yea. I'm great" she said sarcastically

Girl 1#: oh okay...well we still hope you day goes well

• She was glad that they didn't get to see face all messed up from the tears because that would been really embarrassing she thought but all she could think about was how on her first day everything is already going downhill and couldn't blame the guy she just met because that's how kind she was

Camil: why must I talk to myself like this. I should stop. Stop it camil. Get some help

Camil: ...are they gone? It sounds like it. I'm just going to wash my face, call mom, and get out of here.

Camil: ugh serves me right for having a Rudolph nose...

•Camil wiped her face the best she could and could her mom instantly, only to hear nothing from her. So, she decided to just message her saying that she wanted to go home but then got a text back saying that her dad will have to pick her up at 1:15. She didn't care though, all she wanted was to go home

Camil: okay well I guess we just wait now... I can be patient. Yea. lets go eat.

Moon: "Camillllll!!!" a faint yell from down the hall

Camil: oh no...

Moon: "Camil! Hey its me"

Camil: umm I gott-

Moon: wait no no no. "don't go, u cant leave yet" she said breathing heavily

Camil: I'm not much a runner but I'm pretty sure I saw a flyer about cross country and  you should totally sign up

Moon: why is your nose red..?

Camil: "crap she is onto me" she said to herself in her head

Camil: im feeling sick, see *cough cough

Moon: you are such a bad liar. Cmon I know just the thing that will cheer you up, you said you loovveee food right?

Camil: haha why do you have to read me so well

Moon: I mean it is obvious, camil your over here with a glowing red nose

Camil: ah yea....you don't have to tell me that, trust me. I know

Moon: haha well its all going to be okay im going to do my best to make you feel better

Moon: and im sorry if I seem clingy its just when we met I really felt like we were going to be great friends...

Camil: I understand. Its okay though im glad Ive gotten to meet you too

Moon: oh that's really nice to here. And also we don't have to meet my friends if you don't have too

Camil: oh yea! um actually I forgot all about that..haha

Moon: its okay I didn't really expect you to be down for it since this morning so I kinda thoug-

•While moon was talking to her and camil flet way different than she was in the bathroom and felt like all was alright but that was when she heard somebody called out for her and she couldn't help to turn around and that was when she saw the one face she didn't want to see

Layla: omg! Moon is that you?

Moon: Layla? Omg! I haven't seen you since this summer. What happened?!

Moon: and Cameron I see you finally grew taller haha

Cameron: mmm I see you grew shorter

Layla: bro be quiet. Layla don't mind him. I actually came over because I wanted to see you again and see how u was doing

Moon: oh well im doing great actually but there is someone I want you to meet. She is ne-

Cameron: new? Yea I know. We met.

Cameron: "its nice meet you again..." he said pulling out his hand hoping she would respond in some way

Camil: .....camil

Moon: um I didn't know you guys knew each other

Cameron: well we jus-

Camil: we don't.

•As Layla and moon started at the both and then each other they couldn't helped but break the silence that was happening between the four of them

Layla: hey um so were going to go now if that's okay with you moon?

Moon: oh yea sure I think that's a good idea. It was nice seeing you again though

Layla: yea maybe we can meet up this weekend I have something plan for the whole school

Moon: oh yea! of course im down haha.

Layla: perfect see ya then. Oh and camil, it was nice meeting you too.

Camil: "you too" she said trying her best to hold a poker face

Cameron: .....bye

Camil: bye.

Moon: okay um what the heck was that. Did you know that was her brother

Camil: brother?! Cameron and Layla? Oh wow I thought they were dating or something

Moon: oh no haha no

Camil: well I don't see why you told me that haha

Moon: its just Layla is really protective over her brother. Sometimes even envious but im guess that's just how much she cares for him

Camil: I guess. I don't know why tho. He is kinda rude if you ask me

Moon: what! Rude? Mmm I don't know what happened between you guys or how yall even met. But one thing I can tell you is that cameron is not at all who he seems to be.

Moon: trust me he is not that bad camil

Camil:  yea? well I guess I will be nicer to him next time I see him but I can't make any promises

Moon: thank you. Now lets eat this food I bought you

•Moon and camil sat at the table talking, laughing and getting to know each other some more until camil got a text from her dad saying he is coming soon and for her to get ready

Camil: oh no. It's crazy how earlier I wanted to go home so bad but now that I'm here with you, I don't wanna go

Moon: awww, this is why I know we're are going to be great friends. Omg who know mabye even best fr-

Camil: stop right there noon haha

Moon: oh I'm so sorry haha too fast I get it

Camil: haha yea well I'm gonna go get ready for my dad. I'll text you after though okay

Moon: yes! I can't wait. "Wait wait" she said running after her

Camil: oh! Okay then... Thanks for the hug haha

Moon: and you are very welcome hehe

Camil: bye moooooon

Moon: haha bye camillllll

Camil: "I think me and her would've great friends too..."she said in her head

•As camil was trying to find her way back to the front of the school she heard a melody from something she haven't heard  in a while. So she decided to follow the melody.

Camil: mmm where is that com-

Camil: ugh! Hey can you watch it dude!

Jason: stay in your side of the hallway

Camil: wow there sure is plenty of boys who wants to be rude today. Like who does he think HE is.

Jason: what did you say?

Camil: um I'm pretty sure you heard me .... Jason?

Camil: I mean that's what it says on your jacket

Jason: aren't you that new girl that cries in the bathroom and talks to herself haha

Camil: ....

•She couldn't help but say nothing she already felt a little intimidated by Cameron but she promised herself that she won't stab her eyes out for no man or should I say "boys" that she knew would waste her time

Camil: "look. Just watch where your going dude" she said walking away

Jason: but I, wait you stop rig-

Camil: there is plenty of things I rather do then waste my energy and time on people like him. Let's just find this melody we're hearing and keep on moving

•As the the halls start to clear up she couldn't help but wonder how much time she has left until her dad comes but then again it was 1:23 so he was already late as it is. All she could do was hope that  she has enough time

Camil: The sound is getting louder. Is this the room?

Camil: hello is any-

Camil: .....wait, don't tell me....

•Camil peeked through the door to see who was playing that melody only to find the one person she said she would give a chance to, surprisingly playing on the piano with a lovely tune, one which she felt drawn too instantly until the feeling of her body leaning against the door heavily made her have an embarrassing moment 

Camil: omg oh no no-

Camil:...I'm. So. Sorry...

Cameron: "two less lonely people"

Camil: what..?

Cameron: did you like it?

Camil: oh yea but I mean

Camil: I can do better

Cameron: you play?

Camil: mhmm yep

Cameron: oh yeah okay. Bet

Camil: fine then, bet. Scoot over

Camil: watch and learn

Cameron: I am

•Camil looks at the keys, the keys she hasn't seen in years. She starts playing from the melody that Cameron was doing from the ballot in front of them. But little did she know Cameron was only looking at her and how she was looking at the keys with such admiration and all he could say to himself was where did a girl like her came into his life?

Camil: ha, there. Now u saw it with your own-

Camil: why are you staring at me like that...?

Cameron: like what?

Camil: I don't know but your eyes are sure looking into mine and I don't appreciate that sir

Cameron: haha that was funny

Camil: "wow so that's what he looks like when he smiles...maybe he is not what he seems to be" she said in her mind quietly as she can knowing that maybe Cameron can here be thoughts also 

Camil: haha yea

Cameron: that's just how I observe people I guess. Don't take it personally

Cameron: ma'am

Camil: mmm haha okay Mr Cameron

Cameron: Jones

Camil: Mr Jones

Cameron: haha yea. You did good though, on the piano

Camil: oh thanks. It's crazy I've haven't played in a while. I would say 4 years?

Cameron: oh wow. I thought you were naturally talented with the way you played

Camil: same goes for-

Camil: what was that?

Cameron: I don't know. Last time I checked there was nobod-

Camil: omg the time. I got to go like now, my dad probably has been waiting for me this whole time. I'm sorry but I have to go

Cameron: oh well wait you forgot yo-

Camil: my bag, yes. Um even though I didn't like you at first now that I've gotten to know a little bit I think I can give you a chance again

Cameron: really? Than-

Camil: oh and Cameron...

Cameron: ...Yes?

Camil: "I'm still better than you, ha." She said cheesing as she closed the door behind her 

Cameron: "your welcome..." he said to himself with a faint smile
