Charter 36 - The fruit of their training 3

Back to Marc who just got blasted away by Kasai's Earth Elemental. "Damn those things pack a punch!" He said while removing the broken walls that fell over him when the elemental decided to blast him off. Then he saw Kasai seemingly riding a little wave made out of the earth in his direction.

"3 vs. 1, I like it!" Sure enough, as Rofta said Marc, was having fun fighting. Deciding it was rude letting his guests wait, he focused his Magic Power in his legs, more specifically the paws under his feet before shooting off the ground with high speed. He appeared in front of Kasai, ready to kick him in the ribs, but it was stopped by an Earth Elemental. "Say, would you please release my leg? No? Then-" Then he placed his hand on the wrist of the elemental.

*Boom*

The elemental's whole arm exploded, making chunks of earth rain for a short time. Marc was about to completely explode the Earth Elemental, but Kasai raised the ground beneath it, making Marc explode the little plateau instead. The Earth elemental though got enough time to regenerate its arm before they lined up in a neat three-man formation with Kasai in the middle. "I will make your death painful for killing my men and kill all…" He said some typical villain's words that Marc paid no heed to. It was part of his plan to distract Marc so he could use his strongest spell.

Suddenly an arrow came from his back and he easily blocked it by finally finishing his spell.

"Warrior of Earth," Kasai said and the Earth Elementals began fusing with him into a warrior with gladiator armor and a big battle-ax. The armor consisted of a helmet with a big spike on top, a plate with multiple spikes on the right shoulder while the other had none, and the legs had a spike on each knee. The ax was a colossal battle-ax with a curved sharp edge on the front, a pointy end on the back, and a long handle.

"Now that's more like it! Here I was thinking you Earth Magic was kinda plain, but this is a cool spell." After fully transforming into a 2,8-meter high warrior, Kasai charged at the fanboying Marc with his ax resting on his shoulder. When he got close enough Kasai chopped downwards Marc's head intending to chop him from the middle.

The ax wasn't fast, but the power behind it was nothing to sneeze at. Instead of just dodging, Marc raised his hand intending to just swat it to the side. But he overestimated himself a little, or more like had too much faith in his Paw Magic. The battle-ax was only pushed a little to the side and managed to cut off the skin of Marc's arm.

He was greatly surprised, but instead of thinking useless things, he began repelling the debris that came from the ax hitting the ground with high force.

*Booooooom*

*PA…!!**PA…!!**PA…!!*

He made slapping motions as a fine gentleman would to a woman's rear end.

Kasai though punched Marc with his free hand while raising his ax again. Choosing not to dodge once again, Marc decided to test his current limit of his Paw Magic'. Bracing himself and flushing Magic Power to the ends of his limps, making the paws grow a little bit if you looked close enough.

*Booooooom* A giant force crashed into his two hands that he held up to meet the fist. At first a *PA..!!" sound came but it was quickly overshadowed by the sound of force meeting each other.

Marc had gritted teeth as he used all his strength to stop the fist from moving him. It managed to send him sliding backward a great distance, leaving long paw marks on the ground from his feet dragging it.

Kasai who just won the exchange, straightened his back with his ax on his shoulder before saying "Hmph, that's the distance of our strength kid. You have tremendous talent and that's why I can't let you live-" alas he was interrupted like everybody else.

"AGAIN!!" Marc yelled with a grazed smile while looking at his trembling paws. He felt the legendary wall of limit that every protagonist destroys multiple times on their journey to being the best.

"Huh…?" Exclaimed Kasai who was inside the Earth Warrior before thinking "Has the kid gone crazy from realizing he will die? Argh, I'm almost reaching my limit, better end this before getting completely crippled."

The Earth Warrior then swung his ax and chopped at Marc once again while yelling "Then die if you want to so badly!"

At the incoming ax, Marc bent a little down and waited for the ax to come down, before quickly jumping to spin kick the ax at the side, deflecting it a meter to the left without hurting himself this time around.

When he landed on the ground, Marc yelled "AGAIN!!"

Kasai was getting angrier and angrier at each second fighting him. "How dare you treat me as you training dummy!!" He yelled furiously punching and chopping with his ax.

*PA…!!**BOOM*

*PA…!!**BOOM*

"AGAIN!!" Yelled a stubborn and steeled Marc after taking a furry of attacks. Unscathed is the last thing he is at the time being. Terrible bruises all over his body and a big wound near his armpit, that nearly took his arm off if he didn't manage to move a little backward after his *Panthera Disaster* warned him.

The ax came again, but this time it came from the side, making Marc holding his hands up to stop his by its sharp edge with his paws.

*PA…!!**BOOM*

After a little bubble sound, blood began falling on the ground from Marc's hands. The ax managed to dig into his paws just a little and Marc felt he was being pushed away little by little.

"ARRRRRRGH" The time to grit his teeth and break his limit came, and the ax's force lessened greatly after screaming before it got bounced back on Kasai's shoulder much to his shock. He thought, "Shit, I'm forced to overuse my Magic Power!" Before stomping the ground to make spikes on the ground that went forward the fatigued Marc and charged behind them.

As he was tired and his muscle ached terribly, he had a bad time dodging them, moreover Kasai who would try to cleave him with his ax when he dodges them.

1,2,4,5,7,10,15…

Dodging 15 attacks, Marc placed his hand on his stomach while dodging, slowly a transparent paw bubble with a red outline began growing out of his back. It reached 1 meter in diameter, then it suddenly stopped and Marc touched it with his other hand to compress it into a smaller size before continuing to make it bigger by touching his stomach again. He did this process by adding and compressing it 4 times before he had a football-sized red paw bubble in his hand.

"Aahhh, much better! Now take this back." Marc suddenly got energetic out of nowhere in Kasai's eyes. He flew to the left and right to dodge the ax and some earth spikes before a big force came from Marc's feet and he appeared in front of the Earth Warrior where Kasai is protected inside by a thick layer of earth. He pushed the red bubble inside, making Kasai panic a little, but after a second of nothing happening he said "Ha, as if you can do anything to my impenetrable armor!"

Then after saying that sentence something struck him like lightning.

*Bang*

"Ugh!!"

*Bang*

*Cough*

*Bang*

*Cough*

*Bang*

*SLASH*

*Splurt*

*Bang*

*Slash*

*Splurt*

.

.

*Bang*

Bruises, cuts, and blood began showing on Kasai's protected body inside the Earth Warrior.

Outside Marc was still having a hand on the Earth Warrior and wondered "Did it work? Maybe I messed up somewhere?"

The answer revealed itself when the Kasai suddenly dropped his ax and tipped back over. The armor cracked from the inside and out, falling off and revealed a blood-coughing Kasai.

"Hey, bud. How do you feel?" Marc felt fantastic after repelling his pain and fatigue and transferred it to Kasai. He wanted to know how he felt so he crouched beside him and asked a friendly question as if they were acquaintances and not enemies.

*Cough**Splurt*

Hearing the stupid question Kasai felt the pain intensity because he wanted to move but his body was not listening anymore.

"Ah, what happened to you? You look like you need a band-aid!"

(A/N: I wanted to show that Paw Magic can't repel 'anything' way stronger than Marc. It isn't invisible, and its strength depends on the user. Makes sense?)
