When Leona melted the gold dome, Marc was suddenly hugged by a crying Lisa. He was confused as to why she was reacting like that. Unknown to him, it was because she just saw one minute into the future with Tempus' [Time Peak] spell. The sight of Marc losing both his arms to stop the water beam devastated her.
Tempus's [Time Peak] is a special spell that can use stored time to peek into the future. In principle, he can peak as long into the future he wants if he has enough time stored. But here's the downside to the spell. It takes five human years to gather enough time to peek into the future for one minute. From this point on, gathering more time will slowly begin to take longer.
"So he's here already." Marc heard Umon say and looked into the sky like him.
Confused as to what's going on and why the dragon he was fighting is missing its wing, Marc looked up and his eyes nearly fell out of his sockets.
"Why is the freaking Celestial Spirit King here? Did Lisa break a gold key to summon him? Is that why she's crying?" Marc's mind raced to find the answers he was looking for and was pretty sure he is right.
Hovering in the air over them, the Celestial Spirit King stated with a complicated expression "Umon" before the sword Umon was holding wriggled out of his hand and flew up to the Celestial Spirit King.
Umon didn't say anything in response to the Celestial Spirit King. He just proceeded to regenerate his other arm.
...
At Gina and Mordrei's location, they are barely able to put up a fight against the Ice Dragon, Rizontie, together with the army from Bosco.
Rizontie looks like a proud dragon outwardly, but inside he's a coward. When he saw how Snowfall was beheaded in an instant, he stopped his attacks and slowly began backing off. The instant Umon cut of Etoirir's wing and the Celestial Spirit King appeared, Rizontie fleed.
...
*Roar* "How dare you cut off my wing!!" Etoirir roared and was about to attack Umon out of rage. She wasn't minding her surroundings, so she didn't spot the very powerful being floating in the sky until she was reminded.
"Back off!! Or you won't be able to see the stars anymore." Commanded the Celestial Spirit King with an authoritative tone, finally making the lone dragon know he was here.
Etoirir isn't a coward and has fought many strong beings. But in all her experience, the person in the sky is one of the strongest she has seen. Etoirir was thinking "This person is strong. Not as strong as The Fire Dragon King, but stronger than that hateful Sea God."
*Snort*
In the end, Etoirir heeded the warning and walked away, but not without leaving a prideful snort and a hateful glare at Umon.
The Celestial Spirit King then spotted another familiar face and realized something. "Tempus. Did you know Umon's location all this time?"
Because Lisa was in a hurry, she forgot to close Tempus' gate so the little clock decided to just follow behind her when she went to find Marc.
Tempus' clock arrows on his nose began to spin rapidly in panic when being questioned by his king. In the end, the clock answered with a guilty look "Time. I did."
Hearing that, the Celestial Spirit King looked at Lisa knowing she was his contractor and has more. What stomped the king though was that Lisa didn't even look at him when he was speaking. Instead, she kept crying in Marc's embrace. She only stopped crying when she felt the rest of her Celestial Spirits being forcibly summoned.
- The raccoon dog, Tony.
- The big fluffy sheep, Flomo.
- And an unknown woman with pale white skin and gray hair reaching the ground. On her head is two horns.
The newly summoned Celestial Spirits were bewildered by this gathering, but when they spotted the Celestial Spirit King and Umon here, they showed guilty expressions too. The king didn't even have to ask the question: "Did you know Umon was here too?"
"I see. So you knew it too. Then you will have to face the consequences." Said the Celestial Spirit King before he raised his hand.
The Celestial Keys in Lisa's belt suddenly began floating up to the king. "Hey! What do you think you are-" Lisa exclaimed but Umon butted in and grabbed the keys before they could fly away.
"Umon... Don't interfere with their punishment and come back to atone for your crimes. Also, I have a few questions I insist on getting answers to."
Umon looked at all the Celestial Keys in his hand and pondered about an important decision. Something that he would have never considered if it wasn't for Marc meeting Lisa.
"He~ He~ He~ I won't interfere. I will even go with you willingly if you grant a wish every Celestial Spirit here wishes." Umon laughed before bargaining.
The Celestial Spirit King was taken back with all the other Celestial Spirits, except Tony who knew something the others didn't and have kept it a secret for some time now. The Celestial Spirit King was greatly surprised that Umon requested something and would willingly be captured. The other Celestial Spirits were surprised that he knows a wish they want. but didn't even know it themselves.
"…If you answer all my questions I will fulfill it, but only if it's truly something you all want and not something only you want, Umon. Besides that, the others will still get their punishment. If you agree, then let's go back to the Celestial World first." After thinking things through, the Celestial Spirit King agreed because he in fact still see Umon as his best friend.
Hearing that he agreed, Umon released the Celestial Keys he was holding and let them fly to the Celestial Spirit King.
"I said hey!! Give me my keys back this instant. They are my friends" Lisa's emotions were very chaotic at this moment with all the things happening, not to mention someone is now stealing her Celestial Keys.
"I'm very glad to hear you consider them your friends, but I'm also terribly sorry. From this point on, I will lock all Celestial Gates except for the astronomical ones, so you will have to part ways with them here." The Celestial Spirit King was truly happy with Lisa's words even though she was rude.
"To hell you aren't-" Lisa is stubborn and without knowing the Celestial Spirit King's identity, she was about to go for the keys. But the little raccoon dog, Tony grabbed her rope to make her stop.
Looking at Lisa, Tony shakes his head and said "Don't. That's our king, the Celestial Spirit King."
"But-"
"That's right... Lisa. He's not... in...the wrong... We are..." The fluffy sheep, Flomo, broke into the conversation with his slow speech.
Umon was just looking at the side nodding and thinking "This is how a true Celestial Mage should be. Unlike those cruel and selfish people. The Heartfilia Family is truly a prime example for Celestial Mages."
"Besides..." Tony said with a warm smile, which also hid his guilt for keeping an important secret. "We might see each other soon again."
"What do you mean?" Asked a confused Lisa.
"You will find out soon enough. Let's go!" Umon decided to interfere and urged the others to close the respective gates of their own will.
"Goodbye... Lisa. I will... miss you." Flomo said in his slow voice.
"See you, Lisa," Tony waved.
"Time. Time will tell," Tempus waved his staff.
And the unknown woman with two horns and long white air shed tears in silence and forced herself to wave with her long sleeve.
Saying their goodbyes, they began disappearing. The stomped Lisa couldn't do anything to make them stay, so she looked angrily at the person whose fault this lays with, Umon.
"You bastard!!" She yelled before attacking him with a fist, which he just stopped with his hand without looking at her.
Umon was looking at the Celestial Spirit King before a gate opened. Chains came out and wrapped around Umon before pulling him back into the Celestial World, leaving only the Celestial Spirit King.
"As I said, I'm truly sorry, but this is the decision I have made. For the trouble, I will give you this ." The Celestial Spirit King apologized before a gold key that is formed like an upside-down urn with two parallel blue waves on appeared before him.
"This is the key to the Gate of the Water Bearer Key, Aquarius. I hope you will take as good care of her as you did with the others." He said before the key floated down to Lisa and he turned into gold light and disappeared too.
The main army from Fiore and Bosco saw it all. Some of the queen's trusted supporters were very satisfied with the outcome of Lisa losing all her Celestial Keys, making her weaker and the Heartfilia Family less powerful than it already is. The best thing is they now have a valid reason to attack her. Why? Because she's affiliated with a Devil Slayer.
