Under the Sea

The sea. Blue and beautiful. Black and bottomless. Word went out to all the heroes. There was a threat, and a hero was needed. Sadly… the number of heroes has gone down... And the remaining heroes are trying desperately to pick up the slack after the death of Superwarrior… Now was not the time to grieve, for Winona answered the call. But Mr. Representative refused to let her go alone. And if he could not send a hero, then he would settle for a villain. With the blessing of the SCP Foundation. Mr. Representative sendt Tlaloc.

Winona, trident in hand, stood by the dock, overlooking the sea. It was dark, storm clouds having blocked all the light. The Queen of the Sea stood calmly by, as Tlaloc walked up to her.

" I am curious. " said Tlaloc.

" Yes? "

" I heard that you can't swim. Is that true? "

Winona was quiet for a moment, as the rain splashed against her face. She then answered in a calm voice, as the storm raged on.

" It was once true, that I couldn't swim " a smile seemingly appeared on her gentle face; " I was the Queen of the Seas… yet, I couldn't swim… the sweet irony… "

Tlaloc was patient with her. He had seemingly changed with the death of Marduk. The SCP Foundation reported that the two of them had actually grown quite close. And that it had rained for a month at the site where Tlaloc was held, when Marduk fell.

" You learned? " said Tlaloc.

" I learned. " said Queen Winona, proudly, as she lifted her face high. That was when they both saw it. Something arose from the black water. Something queer… something eldritch… something asleep...Cthulhu.

This monster is actually not the Great Dreamer. But you would be forgiven for thinking that - considering the resemblance. No. This creature was more terrible… more vicious… more cruel…

Winona and Tlaloc both looked on, as Margýgi's upper body arose from the sea. The horror was made from the bed of the sea itself. Scales, bones, seaweed. You name it, you could see it.

" Aztenishing... " said Tlaloc with a wry smile, for even this Aztec god actively avoided Margýgi.

Mr. Representative looked on from his office. He was hoping that Bialystock, The Globe Golem, would awaken to take out Margýgi… but the golem kept on sleeping.

(Note: Bialystock rests with the world, and only awakens when the world is threatened. Not even Rabbi Lowe can command him. Oh, and he looks like the golem from Golem 1920.)

Mr. Representative looked nervously on, as he remembered laying Superwarrior to rest within the warm earth.

Tlaloc turned to look at Winona. Her chest was heaving up and down a bit faster than before. Winona's grip around her trident tightened. She walked forward, Tlaloc right beside her. Margýgi's horrible eyes finally notice them. Winona's foot was over the dock, the waters below smashing against the port. She breathed in. Counted to four. And then breathed out. She and Tlaloc could both now be seen surfing towards Margýgi. The battle was a fierce one, as the two pebbles went up against the mountain. But. What Winona and Tlaloc lacked in size… they made up for with power. Even Mr. Representative was dazzled by this brilliant and beautiful fight. Maybe there was a reason why Bialystock did not awaken?

Mr. Representative let out a cold gasp, as Winona was badly wounded. Tlaloc tried to come to her aid. But he was mortally wounded. Winona was panting as she had lost an arm, a leg, and an eye. She looked over at Tlaloc, who was smiling.

" Why are you smiling? " she asked, with a smile of her own.

" This was amazing… you are aztenishing… " said Tlaloc, as his breathing got slower and slower: " now… finish it… "

" How? "

Tlaloc's smile widened.

" You are the Queen of the Seas… command the sea… "

It dawned on Winona. She leaned against her trident, as not to fall. The surface of the water, which she was standing on, was completely out of control. Winona then held her trident high, as she summoned.

" Dagon! Dandan!! "

Margýgi turned around to see Dagon and Dandan emerging from the sea. These two legendary sea monsters roared at the sky, banishing the storm clouds. There was finally light, as Tlaloc breathed his last. But not before granting Winona his blessing. Dagon and Dandan were able to kill Margýgi. The blue sea turned red from all the blood. Winona's wounds were treated. She gained a wooden leg, a hook for a hand, and she now wore an eye patch. Winona committed to her new look by wearing pirate attire. She was now: The Pirate Queen of the Seven Seas.
