Xena's Pov:
I was watching the three guys burn my body, how you might ask? Well, I'm not called a lord for nothing. Having assassins, traitors, and even allies after your life really teaches you many ways to escape from life-threatening moments.
I left the vampires and was on a mission as I strolled around the town trying to find the location that Aurora told me about. Finally finding the house I enter it with the key that appeared on my palm.
I enter it cautiously, now Aurora might have been all nice and stuff but I'm still not fully trusting this strange world or "book" as she would like to describe it.
Once I had thoroughly looked through the entire building I start to make myself home, the house was actually fully furnished and it was almost identical to the one from my world.
Only thing is that the things are slightly altered just to match this world. But I still have my torture chamber and all my wines.
I had learned that in this world if you drink too much alcohol you might be called an alcoholic, I guess I shouldn't show off all my thousands upon thousands of beverages.
Getting a glass of wine and just sitting and chilling on the leather sofa, just enjoying my time and minding my business.
That is until I heard my door being knocked at, sensing that it was a human-made me sigh. Disguising myself as my human form I made my way to the door.
Opening them, and the person was mindlessly beating the door right where my gave was making them hit me.
It didn't hurt but the other person, a woman was pale and started to apologize to me as her teenage daughter was too flushed to say anything.
I stopped her by holding my hand up and shook my head no, telling her it was okay. Looking down at the baskets they both had I invited them in and asked if they wanted to get to know each other.
They agreed and walked inside...
