Chapter 4 - Growing Up (2)

* poof *

Emdeath collapsed to the ground with a satisfied expression.

"Do I think or do you like to bring yourself to exhaustion?" I asked, sitting on a stump and slowly sharpening my father's ax.

"* sigh * You think ... * sigh * I just don't want to be flawed," Emdeath replied and added, "How about sparing?"

"I think you better stop for today."

I got up from the stump and went to one of the trees and began to hit it with an ax, to practice the blows and so that my hands would get used to recoil.

At first I dreamed of learning how to use the sword, but of the swordsmen in the clan was only my mother, but unfortunately in practice it turned out that she was even more sadistic in training than my father, who is famous for his disgusting character. So I did not practice the sword as a weapon, because at least within the clan there are only two swords, and secondly, the training requirements are too high, and without a teacher the sword will turn into a simple sharp stick which you swing at random. Of course, you can try to learn yourself. Of course, it will take five to six times more time than with a teacher.

* poof *

I digress from the practice of strikes and looked at Emdeet, who again fell exhausted from training. I tried to call out to her, but she did not respond to me. Finally I went over to check it out and wiggled it slightly.

"Mhh ..." Emdeath groaned.

Okay, Akira. You're still small, this moan was issued by a little girl, so calm down, you shit piece.

*sigh*

I took Emdeath, who had fainted and carried her to our camp, the main problem was not the security at the edges of the camp, but the leader Bruno and Aunt Aki who slept in their tent.

How the hell am I supposed to put her back in place ?!

On the worked-out way, I went to the camp, I was almost noticed by one of the guards at the tent of the leader, but I seemed to be lucky.

It was dark in the leader's tent and only the light of the moon made its way through the smoke outlet. Trying not to step on someone, I maneuvered between the bodies and lowered Emdeath to her sleeping place. Then I began to get out of the leader's tent according to the same principle as I was moving before. As soon as I was about to get out.

* noise *

I tried to turn around, but two gentle hands rested on my shoulders and began to hold me in my current state. Hot breath seared his left ear.

"Baby Akira, how can you hug sister Aki before leaving"

A march of chills started down my spine, from the seductive voice of Aunt Aki. If I were 16, my younger brother would be myrrh.

"I ..." I tried to say something, but.

Aunt Aki ran her tongue over my ear from which I shuddered sharply.

"Hush Akira. I'm not going to 'eat' you until I am, fufu. I wanted to talk to you, don't kill tomorrow during training, okay?"

When asked by Aki, I just started nodding sharply. I was scared, excited and confused by my reaction. After they released me and patted me on the head, I went out on stiff legs and only after leaving the tent could I catch my breath.

What the hell just happened ?!

I wanted to catch my breath a little more, but the next moment I felt a presence behind my back. I, like a brave and gallant hero, ran away without looking back and not caring that they might notice me ...

*The next day*

"Akira? Emdeath came for you, it's rather strange that you are not on your feet" my mother came into the tent and stood in place.

I tried to blink, but there was a hellish dryness in my eyes due to the fact that I could not sleep all night and apparently my mother noticed that something was wrong with me.

"Akira, are you okay?" Mom asked anxiously.

"It couldn't be better" if the corpses could speak their voice would be better than mine.

"Akir-ah?" Emdeath entered the tent and saw my condition.

Lord, why?

Scraping myself from my sleeping place, I, in the company of Emdeath, went to the leader's house, where children from six to seven years old gathered. Today is the seventh year of his last practice in tracking, which means Escanor and I can finally devote more time to practice with weapons.

When we got to the place, everyone stood in even ranks and gutturally answered: We obey !!!, The order is clear !!!, We are ready to move on command, sister !!! Standing in front of the formation, Aki.

Without embarrassment, we took our place, this is not a school for you, no punishment for truancy or something like that, even if you don't go at all, only your parents will not appreciate that you are not studying. And later you will not be able to feed yourself and you will die. It's simple. As in the past world, only in this one nobody pokes you in the face, you yourself will understand that you screwed up, but it will be too late.

Until noon, the seventh year was supposed to look out for any Dangerous Beast, and then the eleventh year would have to eliminate him or provide support in battle if the Beast was too strong. If, however, it does not work out, then Aunt Aki will check each of those who cheated individually, to find out the reason, because it may just be corny "not lucky".

Without hesitation after Aki's order, I immediately rushed into the forest. By "switching" to the "DeathKill" mode, I immediately attacked the trail of the Armored Bear Nose, while I was tracking this guy I threw off the tail of the "student" of the eleventh year who was supposed to kill the Beast whom I will dispatch. I decided not to give him a chance and personally eliminate my target, although most of the Pathfinders fight disgustingly, there are exceptions, like me, Emdeath and Escanor.

The main problem was the pursuer. No matter how idiot he was, he was also trained to track down, so I have to hurry because if this guy has brains, he will follow the trail of the beast to see if I came or not.

Finally I reached the bear's dwelling, a simple stone canopy under which a mighty black carcass with an elongated muzzle was sleeping.

Without thinking twice, I climbed to the very top of the dwelling and began to throw stones into the space in front of the entrance.

With a displeased roar, the bear looked out of the cave and the next moment I briskly jumped on it and using the energy from the fall, I deeply stuck the ax into the head of an unsuspecting bear.

Even though his skull was extremely strong, and despite the bony growth on top of his muzzle, the ax was able to turn his brain into mush.

The ax is shamelessly stuck, so I just have to wait for the "student". Actually, not even five minutes had passed since he appeared.

"Akira, you asshole! You took my game!" shouted Goon.

When I saw the one who should be the "main hunter" I only squeezed a snide smile.

"Goon, my friend. Aren't you out of breath? Or are you tired? Or maybe you ... go to your mommy and complain that a guy four years younger than you fucked you?"

"Y-you Akira! BASTARD!" Goon, with a jerk closed the distance between us, bringing the Morgenstern over his head and with a jerk gave an impulse to a spiked ball that darted at me.

For the current me, similar speed was child's play, and even at the moment of the swing, I began to move aside, at the same time as the ball smashed the bear's face, I was behind Goon, he tried to turn around, but for this he would have had the urge to let go of the weapon, and for this he did not have the brain. As a result, while he was trying to pull the ball out of the bear's skull, I cut him down and he fell.

Hearing a noise behind me, I saw Auntie Aki walking here.

"Sister, we're done here. Are we really great?" I asked my aunt, simultaneously slapping the "boiling" Goon on the shoulder while he got up from the ground.

Aunt just raised an eyebrow at us.

"Little Akira, did you two deal with this brute?"

"Well, of course in two, but what? Goon, tell me, nobody helped us" Seeing how I smile, Goon boiled even stronger.

His pride was crushed. I "helped" him, I myself killed a strong monster and not only covered his ass about the fact that he did not participate, but still did not even let him hit his finger, "feeding him with a spoon."
