Note: This is a discussion about Andromeda and her role in the Nasuverse, as well as gameplay calculations for her in FGO. Please be aware (for non-players & regular visitors) that this will differ slightly from her story when entering the Nasuverse part.
Andromeda was born into a noble family in the ancient kingdom of Ethiopia, as the daughter of King Cepheus and Queen Cassiopeia. Her legendary life story became one of the most famous in Greek mythology. When Andromeda was young, her mother, Cassiopeia, was so proud that it angered the gods. Cassiopeia boasted that her beauty surpassed that of the Nereids. As punishment for her arrogance, Poseidon sent a sea monster called Cetus to destroy their kingdom.
To appease Poseidon's wrath, King Cepheus faced a difficult decision. The Oracle of Ammon declared that the only way out was to sacrifice their daughter, Andromeda, to the monster. With a heavy heart, Andromeda was bound to a rock by the sea to await her grim fate. However, her destiny changed when Perseus passed through the land of Ethiopia on his way back from his mission to confront Medusa. When he saw Andromeda bound and threatened, love grew in his heart. With the head of Medusa, Perseus managed to defeat Cetus, saving Andromeda from death.
Perseus's courage and love won Andromeda's heart, and they married. Although their journey was not always easy, with various challenges and conflicts they faced, their love story remained one of the most famous in mythology. After marriage, Andromeda and Perseus had many descendants, who inherited their bravery and strength.
Alright, now let's move on to the discussion of the Nasuverse.
Andromeda is a brave and skilled swimmer, the daughter of the Kingdom of Ethiopia (which is said to mean "land burned by the sun"). Her mother, Cassiopeia, whose beauty was renowned, boasted that her own beauty (or in some versions, the beauty of her daughter) surpassed that of all the sea nymphs (Nereids). This angered Poseidon.
As punishment, Poseidon sent a storm and the sea monster Cetus to attack the kingdom. King Cepheus, Andromeda's father, received a prophecy commanding him to sacrifice Andromeda to Cetus. With a heavy heart, King Cepheus chained Andromeda to a rock by the sea. The brave Andromeda had actually prepared a simple weapon to fight the monster, but fear overtook her when Cetus appeared. It was then that Perseus, the hero who had just defeated Medusa, arrived and saved her by using Medusa's head to petrify the monster.
After being rescued, Andromeda married Perseus and had many children. Her former fiancé was not pleased and attempted to fight Perseus, but was also defeated by Perseus using Medusa's head. Despite being saved by Perseus, Andromeda felt her dreams of becoming a hero fading away. Now, as a Servant with the power to fight, Andromeda desires to become a true hero who can save others. She hopes that one day they can stand shoulder to shoulder as heroes and share happiness together.

QQAABEx
Q: 4 hit
A: 3 hit
B: 4 hit
Ex: 5 hit
Andromeda's optimal NP gain chain is AQAEx. With NP charge ATK at 0.62%, Arts and Quick up by 30% from skill 3 at level 10, and Quick up by 11% from passive, assuming no crit or overkill, it would be:
Arts + Quick + Arts + Extra
= 9.11% + 7.73% + 16.37% + 6.20%
= 39.41%
This is quite efficient. Since her NP is an AoE Quick with a high hit count, she can also refill NP gauge. Assuming there are still 3 enemies and no overkill, she can refill approximately 15.74%, slightly below Ilya Summer's performance.
NOBLE PHANTASM
Name: Aethiopis Kētos - The Abyssal Dragon Resting in that Ocean
Rank: C
Classification: Anti-Army
Type: Quick
Range: 1-50
Maximum number of targets: 300 people
Hit-counts: 6
Effect: Deals damage (NP1 600%) to all enemies + Seals their skills for 1 turn + Increases own defense by 50% for 1 turn.
Overcharge Effect: Reduces all enemies' defense (20~40% tergantung OC) for 3 turns (Activates first)
"Yank the causal link between the oracle's chains and the sacrificial maiden, as engraved in fate! O catacean dragon, arise from your sea! Aethiopis Kētos!"
- Rider
Cetus is the sea monster sent by Poseidon to wreak havoc in response to the anger of the Nereids. Initially, he was sent to prey on Andromeda, but he was turned into stone by the head of Medusa carried by Perseus, who happened to pass by at that time. To this day, Cetus remains in the sea of his homeland, Ethiopia - in the same sea where their first encounter occurred.
A Noble Phantasm that connects the myths of "Andromeda bound to a rock" and "Cetus turned into stone", allowing Andromeda to forcibly pull Cetus with chains, ride it, and launch an attack.
The true nature of Cetus is unknown, but it is believed to be a species of water dragon resembling a whale (although also a constellation, Cetus is not generally depicted as a whale, but as a monster).
Andromeda herself seems not to fully understand it, saying this while averting her gaze:
"Cetus... Cetus, right?"
For damage calculation, let's gather the data first. With an ATK stat of 11,085 at level 90 (already 1000 Fou), NP1 at 600%, Arts, Quick, and NP damage up by 30% from skill 3 at level 10, Quick up by 11% from passive, and a base multiplier of 1x, it would be:
OC 100% = 26,918.35/enemy
OC 300% = 29,161.55/enemy
OC 500% = 31,404.75/enemy
OC 100% + Active Guts = 29,161.55/enemy
OC 300% + Active Guts = 31,404.75/enemy
OC 500% + Active Guts = 33,647.94/enemy
Normally, it's not bad, but just average, only slightly above Medusa. When the active Guts is active, the passive gives an ATK up of 10% for 3 turns, so it's good.
ACTIVE SKILL
1. Daughter of Cassiopeia
Rank: A
Effect: Gains critical stars (15 crit stars at level 10) + Gains critical stars (15 crit stars/turn at level 10) for 3 turns + Reduces own damage taken (1000 at level 10) for 3 turns + Charges own NP gauge (30% at level 10)
Cooldown: 8/7/6
Andromeda is the daughter of Cassiopeia, the queen of Ethiopia. It all began when she boasted that she (and/or her daughter, according to some versions of the story) was more beautiful than the sea goddesses/sea nymphs (Nereids).
Cassiopeia is a constellation alongside her husband Cepheus, but it is said that due to Poseidon's anger, an ally of the Nereids, she never sinks beneath the sea and is always visible in the night sky.
For gameplay, this skill provides a large number of critical stars for 3 turns. The skill also offers damage reduction, which pairs well with skill 2. Additionally, it provides NP charge, allowing her to NP if given a starter.
2. Sacrificial Maiden
Rank: A
Effect: 500% Chance to draw attention of all enemies to self by 300% for 3 turns + Grants self-Guts status (revive with 3000 HP at level 10) for 1 time, 3 turns + Grants self-Buff-On-Defense buff for 3 turns
(Buff-On-Defense: Charges own NP gauge by 10% at level 10 + Increases own critical damage by 10% for 3 turns)
Cooldown: 8/7/6
There's no explanation yet. For gameplay, this skill might be her best skill as she becomes a taunter for 3 turns. To support her, she also gains guts and other buffs when attacked. Even if she dies and her guts is active, it's good because of the passive effect.
3. Nereides, Chain of the Divine Oracle
Rank: EX
Effect: Increases own Quick performance by 30% for 3 turns + Increases own Arts performance by 30% for 3 turns + Increases own NP damage by 30% for 3 turns.
Cooldown: 8/7/6
A chain created by order of an oracle to bind Andromeda to a rock protruding into the sea. It was meant to appease the wrath of the Nereids, who were angered by Cassiopeia's arrogance, and it essentially always exists on Andromeda's body.
Though it appears removable or erasable, it cannot be avoided. Perhaps like a curse, an inevitable fate placed on Andromeda by the wrath of the Nereids.
The nature of the chain is "an oracle chain prepared to sacrifice someone to appease the wrath of the Nereids." However, gradually, those around her began to refer to it (the chain itself) as the Nereids. The chain binds her to a rock, and, conversely, if one pulls the chain, there will always be a rock at the other end. In other words, her fighting style as a Servant is to swing it like a chain with a stone at its end.
For gameplay, this skill enhances her Arts and Quick capabilities in terms of both damage and other aspects. This skill also provides NP damage up, which helps with her NP.

Lore:
People thought it was only natural. For they had angered the gods. Someone must pay the price for their foolishness and arrogance, they believed. Even if it amounted to no more than a feeble plea, it was all they could do.
Henceforth, without a single question, chains wound around her body. The princess became forever intertwined with those chains.
―――The true meaning behind those chains. Few know their true radiance.
Only the princess herself and surely the great hero who saved her have truly seen it. He must have saved many others. No doubt, he has rescued many maidens. Yet, without hesitation, he made her his wife. What was the reason for that―――?
With those chains, she encountered the brilliance of being a hero. But what brilliance did the hero encounter with those chains?
Only the chains of prophecy hold the answers to those two questions.
