Violet stayed inside Jack’s office for the whole morning. 


It turned out that the meeting wasn’t very important. He just talked with a few members from the pack about some harvest that went wrong and they lost a lot of food.


It impressed Violet how Jack was good with his words and was able to comfort the members from his pack.


Violet couldn’t take her eyes off him for the whole meeting, trying to pretend she wasn’t interested at all every time their glances crossed.


When she was going to the kitchen to return the tray of his lunch, Violet bumped into someone on the hallway, dropping all the silverware and making a huge mess.


“I'm so sorry!” Violet kept repeating as she squatted down to catch everything and clean the carpet. “I didn’t see you coming, it was my fault.”
