Chapter 34: A Bold Offer

Violet was crying and sobbing for so long that she lost track of time.

Her life was over.

She lost the chance to escape and she had lost Jack as well.

She would never agree to train with Morgana again, so recognizing and improving her powers was also out of the table.

What did she have left?

She was going to live an unhappy life, without powers, without the man she loved, without freedom.

Because it was pretty clear to her that whenever she went - home with the Diamond Pack or a prisoner at Jack’s mansion - her thoughts and desires would never be taken into consideration.

But what was hurting her heart the most was Jack. She couldn’t stop thinking about him, about how he looked at her with sadness and anger on his eyes.

She knew it would be hard to trust each other, especially because he had even more reasons to doubt her. She was the one that tried to kill him after all.

He had never done anything like that to her. In fact, he only repaid her with kindness and tolerance.
