“What do you mean what I want to do about it?” she asked intrigued. “Don't you have a plan?”


“Yes, I do. But I wanted your opinion first. He’s your father after all, and as much as I want to destroy him, I wouldn’t do anything to hurt you.” Jack said with kind eyes.


Violet just wanted it all to be over so she could be with him without having to worry about anything else.


“I really appreciate that. I didn’t really have any idea about it though. I just saw the documents and came running.” 


Just then, she remembered the pain she felt when she saw those files. She didn’t have time to digest everything, not even suffer because of that.


Her eyes were burning as tears started to appear.


She did not want to cry, but it was too much for her to keep it inside. 


“Come on, baby. You don’t need to pretend you’re not hurt. Just cry all you want. I’m here.” Jack said sitting on her bed and wrapping her in a hug.
