“Thank you, Lance. This means a lot to me.” Violet said as she approached both men near the table.


She glanced at the paper over it, and realized they were working on a map, even though she couldn't understand why.


“Do you mind telling me what is this about?” she asked looking at Jack.


“Lance is showing me where some of Arden’s men are. Like I told you yesterday, we are planning on going after them, to prevent them from helping Arden.” Jack explained.


Lance opened his mouth to say something, but at that moment, the door opened with a kick and a couple of guards entered carrying someone.


Violet almost had a heart attack at first, but got it together right after.


Jack and Lance automatically stood in a defensive position, and Jack appeared in front of Violet in a split second to protect her.


She didn’t know how he even managed to do that so quickly.


When he realized what was happening, Jack changed from defensive to angry.
