Chapter 3

"So that was what happened." Bucciarati clenched his fist.

"Yeah, the radar didn't show anything after that."

Mista put a hand on his waist as his eyes met Bucciarati's, "Anyway, we went to the place and it was empty. I think there was a misinformation."

"So Giorno was their target."

Bucciarati was conflicted. Giorno was someone necessary to change the world of Passione. He was the vital key and the reason Bucciarati was brave enough to betray the boss. His loss would crumble the group's hope to continue the fight against Passione.

Trish was worried too, she wanted to be of help but her stand wasn't useful at the moment. The only one who could do it was none other than him.

She looked at Abacchio and her eyes was full of fire. There's still hope left.

As if their mind was connected, Bucciarati also landed his eyes on Abacchio as he nodded. "We haven't lost Giorno yet."

"We're saving him?"

"Let's just hope he's alive." Abacchio clicked his tongue.

"He is." Bucciarati reassured. "After all, it's Giorno we're talking about." But he wasn't going to let Giorno wait. "Narancia, lead the way."

Avdol and Joseph were taking a walk. They had talked about how to convince Jotaro to join them and they were lost with ideas.

Dio is a dangerous being. Joseph remembered the fight he had with the pillar men. It wasn't easy and there were many casualties. He lost his best friend, Caesar and he almost lost Lisa Lisa, his mother. Thank goodness he was able to defeat Kars. That was also, with the help of a volcano or else, he didn't know how Kars could be kill.

Then, he was reminded that these all were the work of a mask. Speedwagon once told him about his grandfather and how Dio gained his immortality by wearing that mask. Joseph didn't want the incident with Kars to happen again. Damn, they were scary.

Jotaro had to understand too. They were going to finish what Jonathan had started. Because that was in their blood, the Joestar's.

Joseph was ranting to Avdol of how his grandson was so different from him. He wished that Jotaro would be as cool as him and that made Avdol sweatdropped.

Well, since he Joseph was his friend, all he could do was listen.

They were on their way to buy a camera since the last one was broken. However, they weren't that familiar about the way so they had some trouble and decided to ask someone.

Unfortunately though, Joseph and Avdol couldn't understand Japanese. Joseph kept complaining how he regretted letting Holly married a Japanese. Which, wasn't of any importance. And he also complained why there wasn't any of them who can't speak good English. "Oh god... " He sighed as he facepalmed.

Soon, a boy approached them. He had blond hair which was tied like a braid behind and he wore pink clothes that showed his chest. He looked like a foreigner. He then greeted the two men with a smile on his face, "Excuse me, you seemed to be in a worry. Do you mind if I help?"

Joseph and Avdol didn't expect that. The only one in the area who can speak better English than the ones they had asked. Avdol was glad but Joseph was even more grateful. However, he felt something weird about the boy. He felt familiar.

"Boy, we wanted to go to a camera shop. We're not very familiar with this place." Avdol blurted out, ignoring Joseph.

Giorno wasn't here for long but he didn't just stay at Misaka's place and lazing around. He had memorised the ways around just in case he would use them at any crucial moment. And that moment was now. "I know a shop nearby. But I'll show you with some tip. It's okay, just a little to buy some popsicle is alright."

Avdol and Joseph didn't give a second thought. Giorno was the only one who was being helpful so they agreed right away. Besides, it was only for popsicle.

"Follow me." Giorno said as he started to walk.

"Are you from around here?" Joseph started the conversation.

"No, I live in Italy but I'm visiting someone here." He said, half truth. He wasn't visiting anyone, he was just lost. There was no way he would tell that to strangers. "And you sir, were you visiting someone?"

"Hmm, you can say it like that." Joseph narrowed his eyes. "Sorry to trouble you, kid."

"No, it's alright. I was helping my aunt with some errands and I saw you two with a troubled face."

They continued to walk until Giorno came to a halt. "We're here." He said as he turned around, "This is the nearest shop. I'm not too familiar with the place so this is the only one I know."

"Thanks kid." Joseph smiled as he pulled out some coins from his wallet, "Here."

Giorno could see some cash in there but he waited for the right moment.

He took the coins from Joseph and smiled gently, "Anytime."

Joseph thought he saw something flash but maybe it was his own illusions. Or trick of the light. So he ignored it.

When Giorno was about to walk away, he was stopped by Joseph. Giorno felt sweat ran on his back as he spun around, "Yes?"

"We didn't catch your name."

"Haruno. Haruno Shiobana." He said before walking away.

"That was a very nice kid."

Avdol sighed, "Well, he did only asked for some coins. Guess he wasn't an enemy." Why did he even bother getting an unsettled. "We can't be too careless."

Joseph placed his palm on his cheek, "Yeah, since Dio already know about me and Jotaro."

Avdol and Joseph went ahead to find a camera which can printed photos. The seller's job was easy when all he had to do was brought the camera out. He didn't have to explain about the functions. Of course, Joseph would probably break it again, he didn't have the time to choose any cameras since he would buy a new one again later.

All was well, everything went smooth but not until Joseph took out his wallet...

.

"HOLY SHIT!"

"What's wrong Mr Joestar?!" Avdol was ready to released his stand, "Is it an enemy?!" He scanned his surroundings in panicked. He didn't feel any murderous intent, but he instinctively held his ground.

Joseph blinked his eyes a few times and rubbed them just to clear his sight. He even turned the wallet upside down and shook it but nothing came out from his wallet except for dust.

He didn't want to believe it but his wallet was completely empty! Even his credit card!

"MY MONEY IS GONE!"

"What?!" A sigh of relief escaped Avdol mouth, "So it's not an enemy."

"No but we need money to pay for the camera!" Joseph cupped his own cheeks and suddenly, he was reminded of the kid from before. "That's it! That brat! I saw something flash before my eyes. It was only for a moment but I think it was a stand."

"A stand user?" Avdol stole a glance at the confused seller. He can wait, he thought. "Let's go get your money back, Mr Joestar."

"Yeah." Joseph nodded before a smile crept on his face, "No one can escape from Joseph Joestar! I'm going to use Hermit Purple."

Avdol nodded in agreement. That was the fastest way after all.
