Chapter 7:
The next day Alora woke Nourah up. She got ready and chose to wear a black skirt with a white shirt and black boots.
"You look amazing miss" Alora said
"Thank you but please call me Nourah" Nourah said
"Sorry m-...Nourah it's just a habit" Alora said
Nourah let out a little giggle then went to the dining table to eat breakfast.
Eli was waiting for Nourah to come while reading a book. Nourah sat down at the table, she tilt her head to see the title of the book "oh Pride and prejudice one of my favorite books but I didn't think that you're a Jane Austen kind of guy" Nourah said
"It was your mother's favorite book, she used to read it when she was pregnant with you" he said sadly
Nourah quickly changed the subject "Ya I wanted to ask you something where will I go to school?" Nourah asked
"You will have a private teacher he will come everyday except the weekends of course" Eli answered
"Yay" Nourah said sarcastically
After they finished breakfast Eli went to work, so Nourah got bored quickly so she went to investigate the mansion most of the rooms are either looked or empty. Nourah entered a room filled with junk and dust but Nourah quickly knew what room was this it was her nursery the walls are baby pink and the crib is white and on the sealing was a beautiful chandelier and there where boxes filled with baby clothes and accessories Nourah noticed a little door in the room it was very hard to open but she managed to open it, inside the door was a room filled with beautiful dresses, jewelry, pictures and paintings of her mother, in the bottom of the painting there's a signature Nourah recognized the name it was Eli's she then remembered that Eli used to paint "those are his paintings" Nourah said to herself. The weird thing Nourah noticed is that the room is so clean as if someone comes everyday and cleans it. After Nourah finished looking at the room she went to the library and stayed there for hours, but then someone knocked on the door and entered "I figured you'll be here" Alora said
Nourah smiled then said "why is something wrong?"
"No, no it's just that Mr. knightly brought his daughter and he wanted her to meet you, she's the same age as you but look don't act surprised when you see her" Alora said
"Surprised...Why?" Nourah asked
"Well people usually mistake her for being someone else's daughter because she doesn't look like her father at all, he has brown hair she has blonde, he has hazel eyes she has blue eyes she looks so much like her mother but not her father" she said
"Oh"Nourah said
When Nourah stepped in to the room she didn't see his daughter she saw her best friend.
"Elizabeth?!" Nourah said confused
"Nourah?!... what are you doing here?" She said
"What are YOU doing here?!" Nourah said
"This is my dad's best friend's house" Elizabeth said
"Wait you know her?!" Elijah asked Elizabeth
"She's my best friend!" they both said in the same time
"Excuse me!?" He said
"Wait is Eli your bio dad?" Elizabeth asked
"Well yes"Nourah answered
The both laughed then went for a warm hug
"I missed you Lizzie" Nourah said
"Missed you too" Lizzie said
"Wait but your name is not Elizabeth Knightly" Nourah said
"That's because I take my mother's last name and don't ask why because I don't know either" Lizzie said while laughing
The two girls went to Nourah's room and talked for hours, then Nourah showed Lizzie the room that she discovered "Wow!...how did you find this place?" Lizzie said "I was looking around then I found it" Nourah said sarcastically "it's beautiful!" Lizzie said
"I think their my mother's" Nourah said
"Nourah look this is a picture of both are parents" Lizzie said
"She was beautiful" Nourah said
"Beautiful?! you're kidding she's MAGNIFICENT!" Lizzie exclaimed
Nourah laughed then continued watching the rest of the things in the room
After a couple hours Elizabeth went back to her home with her father, and Nourah was more than happy to see her friend again.
