Chapter 12:

The Next day was the day of the banquet although Lizzie was excited Nourah was a little nervous. Nourah and Lizzie where woken up by the sound of Alora knocking the door. "I'm so sorry girls to wake you up now but Mr. Eli insists that everyone comes down to the dinner table to eat breakfast" Alora said calmly.

"Ok thank you Alora we'll be right there" Nourah said while going to the bathroom to get ready. After a couple of minutes the girls got ready and went to the dinner table.

"You two look exhausted when did you sleep last night? You should've slept early so you don't get tired during the banquet." Mr. Eli said.

"Sorry father we just got carried away by watching the movies and talking we didn't pay attention to the time" Nourah chuckled.

"Well come on the food is getting cold" Mr. Eli said. The girls took a seat and ate their breakfast.

"Father... when are we leaving to the banquet?" Nourah asked.

"About 7pm" he answered.

"Good so Lizzie and I have a lot of time to hang around" Nourah said

After the girls finished breakfast Nourah was so excited to show Lizzie her new horse. They entered the stable and when Lizzie saw the horse she was absolutely speechless. "So what so you think?" Nourah asked.

"Oh my god it's beautiful, what did you name him?, wait is it a he or a she" Lizzie asked.

"It's a he but I still don't have a single clue what to name him although i do have nickname for him" Nourah answered.

"What?" Lizzie asked.

"THE BLACK PEARL!" Nourah said in a pirate accent.

"I love it" Lizzie chuckled. "Wait I have an idea why don't you name him black short for the black pearl?" Lizzie added.

"That's not a bad idea actually I quite like it" Nourah said.

Nourah and Lizzie rode horses played read books and talked the rest of the day until it was time to get ready for the banquet. The two girls went to Nourah's room to get ready they put on their dresses then, two women came to the room to do the girls hair and makeup, after about and hour and a half they where ready for the banquet,they went down stairs both Mr. Eli and Mr. Knightly where there.

"Girls you both look so magnificent I feel it's a sin to just look at you" Elijah chuckled.

"Thank you" both the girls said.

Nourah went with her father in his vintage car

And Lizzie went with her father in this car

"I didn't think that we would go to the banquet in this car" Nourah said.

"Why is it too old for you" he said.

"No not at all I actually like it" she said

"Then why did you ask?" he said

"I just didn't think that you liked these kinds of cars" Nourah answered

"They are my favorite actually" he laughed.

After a couple of minutes they finally arrived to the banquet Mr. Eli gave this man that worked there his car keys then he entered with Nourah to the banquet.

Nourah's POV :

When I entered the banquet it was filled with people I have never met in my life, my anxiety went high as soon as I entered but thank god Lizzie entered moments after I did.

"Father I'm gonna be with Lizzie alright" I told him.

"Alright but be careful and call me if something happens" dad said.

"Ok" I answered.

I approached Lizzie and locked arms with her. "Do you know all these people?" I asked her.

"I don't know all of them personally but I have seen them around" she answered

"I didn't think there will be a lot of people here and why are they staring at me?" I wasn't comfortable at all but I acted like I didn't care.

"Well you are the new secret daughter of our mafia boss" she said.

"Oh I actually forgot about that" I said even more uncomfortable.

"Oh there are they" Lizzie said while pushing me the crowd towards them.

"Nourah meet the girls this is Catherine, Ruby, Alexa and Amber" she said.

They where absolutely stunning, Catherine has long wavy red hair and bright blue eyes with cute little freckles she was wearing a beautiful white dress, Ruby looked like a queen she is a  light skin and has green eyes and curly brown blonde hair, Alexa has one of the most beautiful defined jawline and she's a brunette with light brown eyes and Amber looks like a goddess with dark black skin and beautiful afro hair they where all so beautiful.

"Hi I'm Nourah nice to meet you" I said.

We chatted a little and they where actually so sweet and didn't ask a lot of questions. I felt a hand on my shoulder I turned around quickly, to meet my father I thought of all the things that he would tell me but what he said shocked me a little. He took his hand up and said "May I have a dance?" He asked. I quickly said yes I took his hand and went to the dance floor I heard beautiful music start and began dancing.

"Just to be clear I'm not the best at dancing" I said.

"It's ok just follow my lead and don't step on my foot" he said with a small smile on his face.

I chuckled then I noticed that everyone was looking at us. "Father?" I said.

"Yes Nourah" he said.

"Why are they looking at me as if I'm an alien?" I asked.

"They are just fascinated but most of all scared" he answered.

"Scared?" I said.

"Nourah your my heir and my daughter of course all eyes will be on you" he said.

"Oh no no you got the wrong person to be your heir I will be scared and will never be able to do anything" I confessed.

"Are you sure?" He asked with a smirk.

"Yes" I said quickly.

"Did you really forgot the first time we met, you fired a gun at me and my men and killed someone" he said.

"And you think I'm proud of that?" I asked.

"One day you will be" he said.

"Yah in your dreams" I said looking him in the eye.

"Talking back to me while looking in my eye you are my perfect heir" he said with a smile.

The banquet was actually fun I met a lot of people and for the first time I actually felt important. After the banquet we went home and quickly fell asleep because I was so tired I didn't even chance.
