Mazoku woke up soon after as his head started to bleed. "What a pain..." He muttered as he stood up looking at some the injuries he had from the battle that occurred hours ago with the mysterious archer girl.
He looked back at her and sighed saying "What a pain..." He held her up with the basket walking towards the cave and laid her down while getting the food ready. She, unstartled, woke up and looked at Mazoku trying to find her mask and weapons.
"If you think of attacking me madam, then I suggest and remind you that neither of us is in the shape to battle again..." Mazoku retorted looking back at her and tossed a slice of rabbit meat near her. "Eat up if you want to get better..."
She looked at it hesitantly then started to eat the rabbit not making eye contact with Mazoku.
"What type of person are you? You nearly kill me and then you feed me?" She uttered not looking back.
He just chuckling and replied back with two words "A demon..."
She laughed responding that statement, "A demon in human flesh like you... How are you able to transform like what I saw? Also, how did you break my attacks?"
"A barrage of questions huh? You seem to throw more than arrows as an archer..."
"Just curious and there's still an opportunity for me to kill you..." He sighed slowly and looked at the stalactites above him which soon changed into a shape of a demonic beast, it's mouth inches away from Mazoku's face breathing onto him.
He shook his head and closed his eyes as the shape returned to normal. "I guess you want to know then..."

"This demon is a dangerous risk to the order of our kingdom..." the Empress proclaimed. She looked at Akari walking towards him, "I guess you know from personal experience..." She looked at him indicating the large scar covering his face and chuckled a little.
"It is a fool's errand to walk into a battle like that though without any experience on that abomination. That hazard. That monstrosity. That demon..."
Akari looked down in humiliation. The mortification crept up his spine as he continued to stay silent during the chagrin.
"So I suggest you know what happened to that creature... Some say he used to be a human, a devilish child who had no control over his savage and diabolic instincts. We don't know the connections he had to the unholy creatures below but he would have been reported to set objects and books on fire as a sacrifice until the unthinkable happened...
"He sacrificed his mother for power from the devil... The great End. Flame of the souls. The Soul-burner, Satan. After that, with his newfound power, we've had no chance against him for a while of time until we managed to gain aid from magic and samurai. We wished to converse with it and understand him but his demoniac ideas could not be swayed. Now you understand this Akari, you must know the temperature of this situation. You are of the best I have and you must not fail me this time..."
Akari nodded feeling only hate for the creature he will soon face...

"I was just a kid... I wouldn't have to know what was going to me soon. I trusted them with immeasurable respect as they were some of the best I've known in my life until that event... I came into the house to be stabbed... I was left unconscious and the only thing I saw was her face as she was muttering to the Soul-Burner and then I felt a flame go within me. Unending torture for years until I woke from that nightmare. Sadly it was just taking one knife out of a million inside me and I then remembered the damned day. She traded us all just for power from the End." Mazoku muttered.
The girl looked at him intrigued. "Who do you mean?"
Mazoku looked back at her saying "Don't you get it? The Empress is who I mean. Inei Mazoku. My mother..."
