Bombardment

Akari stared at the swarm of fighters zooming, ready to tear down onto him with their sai's spinning rapidly in their hands. The first fighter dashed to hit him and cut past his wait cutting him as the bloodshot out of his wound and, as the blood drops started to fall, Akari stood up with his katana in his hand as the fighter turned back to attack but he soon found out he couldn't since he was cut down with his legs falling off leaving the fighter dropped as Akari grabs a sai and soared up spinning like a voltaic typhoon.

A fighter tried to attack him but Rei shoved the sai into his shoulder. However, the fighter was intangible moving front holding his sai onto the samurai's head ready to stab him.

Without warning, Akari found the right time where his opponent was, who was moving at near sound speed, and then sliced off both his wrists and hands, then kicked him down to the ground.

He held a second sai onto his same hand then leapt down as three fighters circled him to skewer into his wounded body but then he propelled above them and then projected a voltaic missile down onto them creating a discharge leaving them crisp onto the floor groaning.

He then three off the two sai down after being smouldered by his attack; he next pulled out his katana and slashed down onto the leader who just stood static staring at Akari and, as the weapon was a centimetre away from his shoulder, he, without warning, streaked past him striking his neck.

Rei fell down into the floor from that impact as the Ninja Leader plummeted hitting Akari again and again as blood threw everywhere. His eyes started to blacken as he nearly flaked out but then he saw a spark in front of him fly down as he grabbed his katana again controlling the lightning-like the wind and then it smote the ninja down. He stood back up damaged but still ready to continue.

Attack. Dodge. Attack. Strike. Block. Injure. Attack.

Their battle continued as the ninja spiralled to finish the battle with high-speed afterimages showing up towering on Akari but then a thunderous roar came out. It was the size of a whale swallowing the enemy down and erasing the after images.

There was no point in dodging that behemoth as it's speed was so fast that neither of them even saw it's true form but a mere shadow it. A flash of scintillating radiance materialized and then withdrawn leaving a slain warrior as Akari watched oblivious to what happened.

"What on earth was that...?" He muttered to himself in absolute shock.

The arrow from Daichi spun and then before Mazoku can react it his chest and then released a shower of petals which gave a shock to him.

"Really expected me to just bite the hand that fed me? I may be a huntress but I have honour..." She said smiling to him as he scowled saying "Really?" She then chuckled walking past him and whispered: "Yeah and I find you a little cute..."

He turned red-faced as she laughed replying "It's just a joke! But I do owe you though for the food so do you need me on this vengeance trip of yours?"

"It's my burden-"

"To bear! Yes, we know that but you aren't a particularly great fighter as you rely on brute strength as I saw..."

"You lost though." He said flatly as he took his basket with him, "But I may need help in training..."

He walked out of the lagoon to be met by claws just centimetres away from his face as a sangria-coloured and spiked creature hissed saying "Ankoku Mazoku... Come with me or die for your monstrosities..."
