Le Chevalier de la Charrette

Sir Matthew was hanging on for dear life, as he was with the most wild knight of Queen Ruhtra; Sir-Lady Derdrom.

Matthew was in Derdrom's chariot, which was being pulled by her trusty steed; Man o' War, with a name like that, you can understand why Matthew was hanging on for dear life.

" SLOW DOWN! PLEASE! " yelled Sir Matthew, as his grip on the chariot was loosening from all his sweat.

" Hell no! " yelled Sir-Lady Derdrom, as she made Man o' War run faster.

At this point.

Matthew could not tell the difference between the running wheels or his heart-beat in his ear.

Derdrom now stopped.

" Thank God… " said Matthew, as he collapsed in the chariot.

" Hey. Do you know this guy? " said Sir-Lady Derdrom.

Sir Matthew got up, and saw another knight in a chariot, which had two horses.

Matthew now noticed the crest on the chariot, it was a crest he had seen before.

" Wait… " uttered Matthew in disbelief, as the knight on the chariot also had white armor, which also looked very familiar.

" It is him… " uttered Matthew.

" Who? " said Derdrom.

" That knight… "

" You are talking nonsense, right now "

Sir-Lady Derdrom now saw how the foreign knight got into position.

" So. You want to race? " said Derdrom with a smile, while she also got into the racing position.

Sir Matthew's mind was still in shock, but he quickly realized what was going on, as he heard Derdrom yell;

" It is time, Man o' War; to go to war! "

But by then, it was already too late for Matthew, as he was once again, holding on for dear life.

Pebbles were crushed, as the wheels roared, while the horses ran with all their might.

" I am going to throw up… " uttered Matthew.

" If you throw up, I will kill you " said Derdrom, coldly, as she was trying to keep up with the White Knight.

They raced and raced, till they almost reached the end of land to race on.

It was also a close race at that.

But.

Sir-Lady Derdrom was not about to lose.

" Man o' War, it is time to win this war " she said, as her horse knew that it was now time to give it all he got, which Man o' War did, leaving the White Knight in a cloud of dust.

" Where is the finish line? " uttered Matthew, as his stomach was about to give up.

" That is a good point… " said Derdrom, as she looked back, but the White Knight was gone.

" Look out! '' yelled Sir Matthew.

Sir-Lady Derdrom quickly tried to make Man o' War stop, but they had too much speed, so they all crash-landed in a field of sunflowers.

" We are alive! " exclaimed Sir Matthew with joy.

" Uh no… " exlaimed Sir-Lady Derdrom with dread.

" What? "

" We have ruined some of Alienor's sunflowers... "

As Derdrom had said that, a shadow loomed over them all, and both Sir Matthew and Sir-Lady Derdrom now saw the Giantess of the Sun glaring down at them.

The sun was both cruel and forgiving that day.
