Book 3

King Solomon has made his way to the City of Pillars, Iram.

As the Wise-King entered the mythological utopia, he could not help but be struck in awe.

Iram was a place like none other, where human and inhuman individuals co-exist.

" It has been a while, stranger, " said a female voice.

Solomon turned around and was now looking at one of his more noble loves, the Queen of Sheba and of the South; Alilat.

The two of them embraced one another.

" I need to speak with your grandfather, the King " said Solomon.

" No. " said Alilat, rather coldly.

Solomon was taken aback by her words.

Alilat then smiled.

" You first need to relax a bit, and join me on a walk through the kingdom " said Alilat, as she raised her hand.

Solomon took her hand, and the two of them enjoyed a magical night through Iram.

They ate, drank, sang and danced together, it was an arabian night which Solomon would never forget.

But it was now back to business.

Solomon reached the palace of King Shahyal ibn Sharukh.

The old King walked over and then gave Solomon a bear-hug.

King Solomon felt his bones being crushed into dust.

" Grandfather, I think that Solomon has received enough of your love, " said Alilat.

As King Shahyal let Solomon go, he then let out a belly laugh.

" Ha-ha. Forgive me, but I am just so happy whenever you visit us " said Shahyal, as he patted Solomon on the shoulder.

" Now. How may I help? " asked King Shahyal, as he sat back down on his throne.

" Your grace, I hate to ask, but we are in desperate need of more men " said Solomon.

Shahyal now stroked his own beard.

" Have I not sendt enough men? " asked Shahyal.

" You have "

" Then, where are my men? " asked King Shahyal.

Solomon paused for a moment.

" Sadly… they are all dead "

Shahyal was quiet for a bit.

" Those men all had Jinn blood running through their veins. The men of King Nebuchadnezzar must be more inhuman than I thought, " said King Shahyal with a solemn smile on his face.

Solomon simply nodded.

Shahyal took a deep breath, he noticed the worried and tired look on Solomon's face, and then said;

" Very well, but this time, I shall not only send Jinn, but also; Jann, Shaytan, Ifrit, Marid, Nasnas and Djinim " said King Shahyal with a grandfather's smile.

King Solomon could be heard letting out a sigh of relief.

" But for now " said Shahyal, as he walked over and gave Solomon another bear-hug; " You shall rest in my kingdom and we shall hold a banquet in your honor! "

The next day.

King Solomon could be seen riding towards Babylon alongside a massive inhuman army.
